Hi all, Can i put a 2005 ROADSTER clutch and fly wheel in a 2003 350z coupe??dose any one know. or should i send the clutch back and get a correct one??Thanks guys

Thanks i did find a solution the car is JODB i had to use nissan datacan software and a Ka Vag cable.

Sorry to Bump I recently got the same p0350 error code come up on mine a few days ago . did you resolve the issue? Apparently a faulty O2 sensor can cause a P350 and misfire. Because the senor effects the mixture..Not sure this makes sense to me though... I have a misfire on cylinder two. i pulled the coil and tested for a spark. it looked a bit weak so have one on order.. i hope this will fix the issue.

There is a reason why this will work with some JDM'S not not others. Mine is 2003 import says 2002 on books? We can see that Mudman has Uprevved, I think this changes the way the ecu talks to the device. or they swapped ecu from the original JDM ECU. There is some information about Nissan Consult. "In Japan this standard is not mandatory. So RHD cars produced for the Japanese market in the majority do not support the OBDII standard. If the Japanese make a car for the US/EU/Chinees market, they add support of OBDII standard." OBD2 plugs are fitted on European cars as they have to confirm to European legislation and all use the same obd2/3/4 software, but as Japan aren't in Europe they don't have to conform , so although they fitted obd sockets they do not run obd2/3/4 software. Calling the 16pin socket an OBD II socket is technically wrong and causes confusion but alas that's what its called, OBD II is another protocol, you may as well talk French to your Nissan ECU as it understands French as much as it does OBD II, you need to talk to it in Consult.

I cant seem to get any PC programs to communicate with my cars ECU. the PC can connect to the ODBII Interface with some programs but never the ECU. sending AT commands from a console through COM seems to get a response when i monitor all (AT MA). i get a data stream from that command I have looked up what consult interface sends to the ecu in bytes. there is an initiation sequence the ecu will not respond unless this is sent. some information is available on setting up the ELM to talk to the JODB Nissan 2003 ecu. but i found it not much help when using a pc program. ECU Initialization Sequence.
