  1. I suspect a reasonable amount of that country mile can be attributed to the Williams being in the way.
  2. quite possibly very true, which is a shame really.
  3. I know, I think if Vettel hadn't ended before he began, and if Raikkonen and Hamilton had had decent starts we would have had a right battle for the lead all the way through the race. All ifs and buts of course but oh well. I think the championship battle could be reasonably close this year. Surprised that Rosberg has done so well out of the first two races but will be interesting to see how the championship progresses.
  4. Well I really enjoyed the race again. Thought Grosjean did really well again. Mega impressed with him and Haas so far. What the **** is wrong with Hamilton's attempts to get off the line. Not the result I was hoping for but good race.
  5. Spotted on Kirkstall road bit of A65 by the Shell garage. I was in the Shell in my grey 350. Anyone on here?
  6. Name: Rafiki Make: Cat Model: Moggy, who knows? Rescue cat adopted as a kitten August last year. Age: Nobody is entirely sure but the suspicion is he will be 1 at the end of May. Likes: Everything that he isn't supposed to touch. Pouncing anything that moves. Sleeping. Dislikes: Every child that has ever visited our house. He likes to think he is clever but my pic suggests otherwise:
  7. Well Hamilton pulled that out the bag. Didn't think it was on initially. Think this reiterated that the structure of the qualifying means the ends of sessions are @*!#. Cracking effort by Grosjean, Vandoorne and Wehrlein too.
  8. Watched FP3 with interest, Ferrari looking pretty good. Interested to see if Torro Rosso can maintain their Aus form. Will be nice to see Stoffel up against Jenson this weekend. Looking forward to qualifying now (stupid format excluded). Weather here is pants so time to change plugs and drive belt before the next session I think.
  9. Oh dear, I wasn't making a genuine suggestion that it get changed. I'm no trouble maker officer honest . However now it's got here If mine can be changed then I am happy for that to be the case
  10. Oh how I wish I had followed that advice for my throttle bodies. I'm not trying to fix something that's not broken here, merely asking the question. Surely someone else has thought this before. Not looking to get it changed, although I wouldn't complain if my own one changed, it was just something to promote discussion on a Friday eve after a few beers.
  11. But this is 350z-uk not 350z-usa right?
  12. Also Jamie jumbo jewels would be more fitting with my name
  13. It just seems like such a natural choice. Obviously not questioning the divine mods. And indeed I recognise I am a newbie here but come on. How could this not be the obvious choice
  14. Having just clicked over the 100 post mark and having my title change to Z dedicated I feel like I am now in a position to say something. Why is it not called Zedicated??? I have often thought this while perusing the boards, it feels like such a nice play on words here whereas saying zed-dedicated is a mouthful.

Hi mate, what condition are the ones in Leeds? Is your mate a forum member? I live in Leeds so if OP doesn't decide he wants them I may well be interested myself. Drop me a pm. He needs to clean them before pictures but I can put you in touch with him no problem. PM sent (Apologies for thread hijack here OP)
  16. Sorry to hear about this. Not cool!!
  17. Hahaha yes Although I bet Alonso would trade his salary for a third world title. Bit strange that his win rate is surprisingly low since leaving Maccer in 2007 given that he is one of the best 3 on the grid. Don't get me wrong some very solid Ferrari seasons but given the 2010-2013 Redbull and the current Merc domination his stature as a prolific winner is being diminished which is a shame. I still rate him as one of the best, with Ham and Vet at the moment but we could really do with him being back up the front. It would make races and the title fight more interesting. Here's hoping Macca sort themselves out quickly and/or a surprise switch to Merc/Ferrari for Alonso next year. Raikkonen, as great as he was in the 2003-2007 era no longer deserves the Ferrari seat in my opinion and I still hold the belief that Rosberg will not be in that Merc seat next year unless his first half of the season is stunning.
  18. Had never seen it, quite like it. Might send it on to the misses.
  19. Ha I used to do the same sort of thing. Let the lights go out, sit on the grid until I was lapped by the whole field and then see if I could pull it back for the win. Much more entertaining that way.
  20. Bah, you just made me panic I was missing first free practice. Even though I knew it didn't start til midday.

If you aren't fussed about rubber or condition I spotted these: http://www.ebay.co.u...~YAAOSwdU1W8~gc at £275
  24. After the AUS qualy effort I said if they don't change it I wouldn't make a conscious effort to make it. By which I mean I wouldn't avoid going out with the misses or find a pub with it on while out etc (she is very patient with the f1 passion). So if its a sunny Saturday I may well end up missing it. (This is a big deal to me I think I have only missed about 4 competitive sessions live in the last 20 years or so, I'm 26 so most of my life)
