Is P3 not the same as P2?

Welcome

Sorry for numerous posts, phone won't let me edit: Fuel filter is part of the pump itself I believe and not serviceable separately.

And belt/belts (1 on HR, 2 on DE)

If history is lacking I would also go for Gearbox oil (optionally with some molyslip) Diff oil Clutch and brake fluid Spark plugs Coolant

Yes I was a bit annoyed at Vettel today. Absolute rubbish being spouted. Good to see that Kvyat stood his ground in pre podium room. I would like to see Maccer back up nearer the front again too.

I'm assuming some others must have watched the race this morning. What did we all think? I personally really enjoyed it overall, plenty of action going on. Still feel some of the action is a little artificial given the tyres and DRS, would be nice if there were tyres that didn't just destroy themselves behind another car. Kudos to Rosberg for his good start to the championship, can't help but feel he hasn't had to work for one yet and will be interested to see what happens when the rest of them get their act together, not to take anything away from him of course. History would suggest having won the first three races of the season it is going to be his year this year. Not the outcome I am hoping for and still an awful long way too. Was pleased to see normal qualifying occur again although the Ferraris in Q3 were a bit anticlimactic. Anyway, on to the next one.

Spotted a black GTR on my way across to Bangor today. Round about junction 14 of the A55. Also spotted, separately but on same road 15-20 miles later a black 350. Think it was an import from the brief glance I got of it going the other direction. If it was you you would have just passed a highways vehicle with it's flashies going. I was going opposite direction to you both in grey HR. Anyone on here?

New for 2016 Gran Turismo 6 Challenge Cup
jowen7448 replied to jowen7448's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Nice one, I am away now for work for the week, had been hoping to get a quick run this morning but the free time didn't materialise. You will have to give me some good targets to aim at for when I return -

Looking nice -
Even the original 6k sounds like an amazing price for an HR. Hope you enjoyed the drive home

Not what i was expecting

These look pretty suave. How tight is the fit against the carpet? Main reason I ask is I have one of the cheaper thinner boot carpets and considering getting a thicker one to lay over the top or maybe some underlay which will raise the height a little.

Blinged Custom Gear Knobs, New Stock Available
jowen7448 replied to Mopedmark's topic in Member Traders
I would be interested in one of these if I can get a charcoal/anthracite colour for the Z logo and on the tree on top. -
I'd have stuck the mirrors in if it was me, and left a note if it was still there when I left.

That does look pretty smart

If you do stuff up somehow, before going to a local garage I would suggest giving Mark@Abbey a call and chat through what you did and the symptoms showing. He may be able to help or point you in the right direction rather than leading you down a money sucking rabbit hole of part changing that can occasionally be the issue with a local (even a good one) if they aren't sure what the issue is. Anyway fingers crossed for you mate. I wouldn't wish upon anyone to share my annoying experience. It rather takes away from what is otherwise a lovely car.

It has just become more confusing if anything. Now it's at the point where most of the time it seems to be ok, but occasionally it will be temperamental but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to it which is mega frustrating. For example yesterday, I drove the car 50 miles, no hint of any issues, on way home went to fill up. On starting up again with a full tank of fuel the idle was surging each time I stopped for lights etc. I might think ok, hot start seems to be when it has occurred but previous experience over the last week doesn't marry up. It does seem to be getting better with each longer run out though so I don't know if various parameters are being relearned etc. I have a couple of long journeys scheduled in the next month so hoping (read praying with everything crossed) that it continues to get better and just gets put down to one of life's mysteries. This car has more sensors and electronic wizardry than anything else I have ever owned. I reiterate I suspect that having two throttle bodies on which I moved both butterflies is making life worse as they need to be working together. I believe you have just the one so you may not have quite so much trouble. The pedal dance itself isn't too bad once you memorise the steps and use a stopwatch to time it all. But having spoken to Mark@Abbey about this a fair amount now something I didn't realise before hand was that if a whole host of other parameters aren't within the right range the reset procedure won't complete. E.g if the idle is above 900 (which mine was) it won't finish, whether the car is running open loop or closed loop, steering wheel should be dead straight, no electronic load from aircon/radio etc. Edit: Mark's other suggestion (other than don't bother doing again) was that if I do decide to do it again, disconnect the ECU itself, not just the battery, as there is residual power which won't have drained. Something I didn't do (I did of course disconnect battery before unplugging throttle bodies). Ps I am not trying to scare you etc, this was just my experience. I could well have done something stupid without realising. You could well be 100% fine. Good luck.

Would that be my thread by any chance? http://www.350z-uk.c...i-done-goofed/ Throttle body clean has caused me far more trouble than it was worth. I was also mega careful to disconnect battery and the throttle bodies themselves before touching the butterfly. The whole experience was a bit of a kick in the nuts as well as the ego. I'm not 100% convinced that it is entirely resolved yet either, idle is fine a lot of the time now but occasionally it is still throwing a wobbler. Edit: worth noting that I have the HR with 2 throttle bodies, which I suspect contributed to my nightmare.

I haven't done this, done the egg in the radiator trick though.

I did that. Was okay until you did an emergancy stop and the speaker flew forwards with such force it nearly took your passengers head off - or if they ducked would go through your windscreen. Rather they lose their head than I have to fix my windscreen.

PM sent with some picky things that I noticed while browsing. Feel free to ignore as much of it as you like etc, since you said it would be helpful it's just my tuppence.
