  1. This guy may be able to help you Jon@Emperor
  2. I found the servicing guide. I've been searching and googling fluid capacities all afternoon LOL For my clutch, The RBF 600 is a bit pricy and I'll not be racing it. A lot seem to say synthetic? So should I just get a good brand of DOT4? Castrol etc?
  3. Can anyone tell me what the actual brake and clutch fluid capacities are? I have one litre of ATE typ 200 DOT 4 brake fluid due to arrive with my HEL braided lines. Will there be enough for the clutch too and is the DOT4 suitable. here's what I bought :-) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262525092102?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Thanks Folks
  4. Thanks Jon I saw that but there was one cheaper so I had that, sorry.
  5. Didn't notice that when I topped up my oil, but the two times I've filled with petrol there is a whoosh from vacuum in the petrol tank?
  6. Just bought as pipe and box off Ebay. So nolonger required. Can't seem to edit title?
  7. No still looking for a box and pipe.
  8. Yes fully engaged and thanks for all the smutty innuendos chaps :-)
  9. Has anyone bought these disks? Mines a 2004 280bhp with brembo calipers. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R90-SPEC-REAR-DISCS-PADS-322mm-FOR-NISSAN-350Z-3-5-BREMBO-2003-09-/252166434584? hash=item3ab64a6f18:g:WRUAAOSwYHxWQ3-a
  10. Thought I would check the oil level for the first time in the new car. Pulled out the dip stick and cleaned it, now I can't locate the holw to replace it. There is a KnN filter on the car which may be blocking my view. The stick is quite bent, is this normal? Cheers AL
  11. Sorry just want a standard UK box and pipe that goes to throttle body
  12. AS title suggests, I'm looking to remove the KnN filter that was on the car when I bought it and put it back to standard.
  13. BUMP. I'm looking for a pair of rear springs for my 2004, no adjustment, no coilover etc etc, just the basic spring for normal height.
  14. Yeh, I think I made the right choice. Think the SLK is a great looking car but the Z nails it on the reliability and smile factor.
  15. Yeh, just one of those silly things, easy when you know how. can you change my status from hopeful to Newbie now?
  16. WEll I do feel very silly indeed and apologies for wasting time. I was pressing the button wrong. Pressing at the back not the squishy bit with a button in it. I was also pullling on what I realised was the cargo attachment loop not the emergancy boot release, witch is held on with velcro. Oh well, at least it all worked out for the best. Plonker of the month award gratefully accepted LOL.
  17. There is no noise at all. So thinking the lock mechanism is jammed? I might try getting more leverage on the pull cord, but don't want to break something already lol. Just wondering if the pull cord is supposed to work anyway when the lock is locked? If not I'll just break the cord.
  18. You can reprogram the key fob to open both doors with one tap on the key fob. It's pretty easy, there's a guide somewhere on here. Pete Yeh, hold both buttons for 5 seconds I read. I'm OK with that, its just the mystery of the boot release now. It doesn't make a sound when I open the car with the key fob. My TT used to make a noise as the actuater worked.
  19. Well I learned that to open the passenger door is a double tap on the key fob open button, but still the boot is unable to open. I pulled as hard as I could on the release under the Z bar but it won't budge?
  20. You know that is a configurable setting on your fob? If you press and hold both buttons for +5 seconds it flips to "all open on single press". Doing same flips to "driver door only open on 1st press". David Does this double button tap also include the boot/tailgate?
  21. Thanks, I'll have another go. I assume a squirt of WD40 in the works might help things along. Haha, I have no idea what a "horizontal tonneau cover" is?
  22. First problem for my Zed. Came to open the boot to put the shopping in and the button won't budge and the boot/tailgate will not open? Had a search of forum but can't see a thread? I tried pulling on the release under the big strut in the back but it wouldn't move? When I press the unlock on the key fob, there isn't a click or anything from the boot mechanism? Cheers AL
