Hi Folks, I bought my 350Z a month ago and I prefer unmodded cars, so had this taken off by my usual mechanic and standard put back on. So I can't say how many miles it has done or anything much about it. The general rule seems to be, if something is fitted then it should work (ie its there for a reason). This applies to headlight washers, on my previous car a 2001 Audi TT my headlight washers didn't work but I still got a pass. No one seemed sure of the wording on the MOT check list?

I have 4 p-clips which came with the brake lines. I'm pretty sure I have bought the right lines. Trouble is a lot of ads on Ebay use a stock photo of any set of brake lines just to illustrate.

There are two types of connector, the one I call loop are called banjo connectors and require a bolt with a hole running through it.

HI, I just bought some brake lines (Yes I bought HEL, before reading on here about them. http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT When I got them the box was half open and held together with sticky tape. So I started to wonder if there were parts missing, ie the bolts to attach the lines. Anyway I've noticed there are two types of connector, one is a looped end the other a nut over the endings. See the photos. So the question is, do the bolts only come with the loop ended ones? I bought the none loop type, have I bought the right type? I have 2004 DE with Brembo calipers.

I got an 04 DE with just 51k miles on the clock. Before the car was handed over to me, it was given to a gearbox specialist to fix the snycro ( I only have the leicestershire dealers word for this and don't know name of specialist) The dealer said the 4th grear was a problem, this is why he sent car to specialist. ​Symptoms are, very hard to get into first gear when first starting off, esp when cold. From the first time I drove it, it was hard to find 6th gear, though I think that might be me not used to a close gate? The problem with 4th happened after I'd done about 100 miles in the car. DEpress clutch and put it into 4th, bad crunch, hear gears clashing. But if I leave the clutch depressed an extra second or so, it goes in better but still with a clunk. High biting point is hard to get used to anyway.When in neutral with handbrake on there is a noise that sounds like something rotating and rubbing until the clutch pedal is depressed fully then it stops. The car is under warranty and I'm going back to dealer this week as they forgot to put back the under engine cover back on after they changed an auxiliary belt which was looking a bit cracked.
