it actually exploded once before and got one for nothing after emailing the company. hopefully i will hear back from them monday and they will know what could be the issue and can sort it fairly cheap

yeah the more im reading online the more i think this is the issue it must be on its way out. i use it for spraying so gets used for 2 maybe 3 hours straight not a surprise its maybe fried it with the heat.

does anyone know all there is to know about air compressors? i have ltsuk 270litre 3hp single phase air compressor.. just changed the oil and put a new belt on as it kept cutting out but its now doing it more often than before.. i think it could be an electrical issue. it will come on and work but after 30 seconds to maybe 2 minutes it will cut out and trip the reset switch. press the reset button and it works again then cuts out. i thought the old belt was slipping but it seems worse with the new belt. any ideas what it could be?

love the pink colour from the side on views, would love to see a z with a wrap in that colour if you get it.

Finally got some decent weather saturday so went a blast to aviemore. got some cracking pics with the nikon.

some update pics of the z finally out the garage. been flat out this last week hardly had time to get a pic with new wheels on. Also got the new private plate on, the jr18 wheels completely change the car for the better i think.. still to get the skirt extensions on but been busy with homers. I should be getting a rear window lourve from grundy too once he's made them, i think it will make the rear hatch look mean as hell!, also snapped a pic of the z beside my other pride and joy, 1993 vw vento or jetta if your an american.. it started life as a 1.6, i bought it when i was 18.. i'm now 23 so ive owned it longer than any other car ive had.. i'd scrap it before selling it to someone haha its now a 2.8 vr6 and the next plan is to turbo the vr6 engine.

how come your selling jeff? if your breaking it up might be interested in the headlights.. not sure if they'd be too dark looking against the white though.

I'll take a pic tonight. Its a 04 de model.. maybe there is one hidden somewhere but definitely not one where its meant to be. Its been on over 3 hour journeys and its fine.. very strange

so today i realized that i don't have a coolant expansion tank next to my washer jet funnel and power steering tank... i was actually looking at my mates z and it dawned on me i dont have one... the car runs fine and temp sits at average temp, full heat through heaters also, any idea why the bottle would be deleted? should i get one again or leave it if its fine the way it is?

wow...i'm shocked people actually spend over 20k on a wedding.. i know its an important day but.. 20k or more for one day!.. each to their own though. for me i'd be looking at registry office then a whole weekend party with friends and family, save your cash for a house, or a supercharger.. haha.

a few pics from the last couple of weeks, more will be uploaded over the week. z was mot'd tonight and passed no bother. finishing touches over the weekend and a good clean and polish and that's it done.... for now... New headunit that i replaced the android one with as it was useless in my area as connected through 3g and 4g. done a bumper tuck also as with the single exit didn't look good with the twin exit style on the rear, seen some bumper tucks that imo are too high up, i'm delighted with how the tuck turned out, managed to keep the taps and plastic clips intact on the bumper too in case it needs reversed. almost 3 weeks of sun and the week of mot it rains finishing touches over the weekend to be done, badges to get painted and go on, a machine polish all over, and good detail/clean. still got my tarmac sportz side skirt extensions to go on but due to the road conditions and the fact i live up a farm track i have no idea how long they will last before they get destroyed. Also waiting for my new wheels from tarmac... hopefully in next week.. can't wait.

i'd say oem hr. once i save up a bit more cash i will be swapping my oem de bonnet for a hr.. makes it look much more meaner at the front imo.

woaah didnt realise how long its been since i posted on here. been hectic at work and then coming home to work on the z. After painting it i went to work early the monday morning to get what i could fitted up and drove it home after work with no mirrors again etc haha. Had to paint pillar trims skirts mirrors eyebrows and filler cap in my home made booth, also painted the handles white which have turned out looking great on the car. On holiday this week so hopefully get it finished off, got the skirt extensions to paint and the middle of the front bumper, then fitted back up, waiting for a few bits to get hydrodipped by 2kcustoms, hopefully get them this week which means i can fit the car up completely, also waiting for my headliner to be done which i can't wait for, will upload pics when i get it. Got my Berks hfc's stillen y pipe and my isr gt single exit fitted... was a complete f**k about but with a bit of patience and head scratching i got it to fit.. The middle box kept hitting the prop whenever tightened up and was also against the w-brace.. so after a few nights of messing about with it and due to not managing to get a long rubber i spaced out the bracket that attaches to the bottom of the car, got the back box lined up, block of wood in between the prop and box, tightened everything up and hey presto! not touching the prop or the w brace! sounds epic too! Also got my new headunit working thanks to buster from the zed shed for guiding me with what wires needed joining to give me sound.

Yeah i slackened cats off and im now getting more clearance and theres side to side play aswell so will manage to position it better still going to be close to prop but enough of a gap to not cause any damage... id say its definitely a design flaw with isr middle box.. they should of made it more of a cylinder than oval box but then they weren't expecting folk to use y pipes with no flexis haha. Should have it up and running tonight and eill post some pictures and sound clips to my biild thread

Might be an option... take out centre box and get a custom one made to fit and make it more of a cylinder than an oval box

Im connecting a isis gt single exit to the y and the middle box is against the prop shaft.. no idea whats causing this.. y pipe cats or shape of middle section itself. Any help is appreciated

So could it be my cats? They fit the headers no bother surely thats where the difference is on the hr?

Im having issues with my stillen y pipe its hard against the floor on the passanger side i have berks hfcs fitted also. Any idea why its not fitting? I have a uk de.. could i of maybe been sent one for a hr or does that matter?
