  1. Yeah thats the best way. I like people in small doses. Life is much more peaceful without the drama and Hollywood certain characters bring. Rather enjoy my own time. If im feeling social then an hour here and there on a Sunday doesn't hurt. Then some people remind you why its best to keep to yourself sometimes lol. Sure life is not the most fun when being anti social but the worlds different now. With more freedom you can literally duck and avoid people as much or as little as possible. I do like meeting new people then the vetting process kicks in lol...I suppose you have to make your own judgement and pick the better poison. Family, inheritance and close ties vs Partner and estranged but happier.... Forge your own path and maybe patch it up later if people are willing to compromise.....not without risk.... Id happily forge my own path for my sanity. In your case seems only Father is reasonable. You can still patch it up with the rest. Just keep them at bay or interactions to a minimum. 1hr Christmas dinner and keep it moving. If anyone seeks more interaction then clear the air and put everything on the table.."i dont like how you did x...., im willin to let bygones be...shake on it or..." . with family you can only try if they revert back to old ways.......keep it moving no biggie
  2. Family eh. Theyd do you worse than a stranger! The 350Z was probably the first car I acclamatized to higher costs of maintaining a car. People are still shocked when I tell them how much brakes and tires are on the Z. Once you go indie its basically indie the rest of the way. Some indies do offer warranty but it depends on if they think its profitable or not. Its probably underwritten by someone else..... Ive got warranty on my Z. The likelihood is ill probably not need it. Regards to android auto, they probably wont cover your audio a bit like when i had short tails on my first Nismo. Nissan said anything related to the exhaust system is not covered. They happily cover everything else. As long as the fault is investigated and not related to your mod. Might be different with Porsche however. Thats why more manufacturers are offering aftermarket retrofits nowadays. So customers can buy things like Android Auto through them and still be covered
  3. Even in the year 2045 where everything is EV or Ethanol etc. You probably wont get a 987 for less than 9k 😂
  4. People are still waiting for their cars a year later in US, Canada, Japan and Australia. Disastrous launch. Anywho Nismo in camo
  5. Brave... Id have been on the blower to Porsche Warranty Services as soon as I left the lot. That being said im not sure if theyd cover it. Maybe, Maybe not. Its kind of expected this type of cost. Id get some type of cover. PDK is £3000 used up to £9000+ for a new unit apparently. Can have a rain fund but its a gamble on what goes next. Some might see cover as a waste of money.
  6. @AMT mines available for sale. Still in two minds so not on Autotrader yet. Since the service it flies now 😂.
  7. Im not too sure about that. Maybe someone more mechanically Technical can chime in. Like with most parts. Best to replace in pairs. The other one might go when prices or parts are scarce and you pay more. Seems steep but id change both. One mount would be stronger and fresher than the other. Not sure what the side effects are.
  8. Wow the dreaded Engine Mount...I wonder if Porsche would have covered that? Sounds like wear and tear. £1100 seems cheap compared to what some YouTube guy paid. Unless these are different mounts. Isnt it best to replace in pairs?!
  9. Up till pre pandemic i saw a v6 clio in my area. Back in the day like 10+ years ago... They were £15000. My brother had the 182 cup. He was fast beating GTis. Then my uncle came to the house and said we saw a Clio that would eat yours. The V6! To the sounds of "yeah yeah"😂
  10. who said anything about the tyres touching the ground?! Its either suspended or got tyre guides so you dont get flat spots on the rubber
  11. But the idea to put a V8 in a small car like an SLK was a brave move. It probably didnt make them money but got people thinking that small roadsters dont have to be confined to small engines
  12. *awaits real life audio engineer to arrive* "Been using low bit rate Mono speakers again"
  13. Boxster S with PSE in Korea Lockdown type open road. Apparently this road in Korea has since had speed humps installed lol...
  14. Not yet then....timed exclusive for Supercars. Then maybe £1000+ for a set of 4 on the Z. It will probably cost £290 per Tyre before any discounts
  15. The OP will make up his own mind through his own research. Meanwhile we all like different things. Check out my owners experience of the 370Z. Theres also the cheaper GT to consider. Highly moddable and Nismo parts if you wish to go that route. For example you could get a GT for 14k and get the Nismo kit and Steering wheel for little over 2k or other parts modded. Americans claim the GT is actually very close to the Nismo on the track. Sure the Nismo is more clout than "better". It is more special. Nismo are little over £20k a bit overpriced. There is one floating for £19999. Maybe go see the 987 and check out the Nismo on same day? There is a weight difference between the two cars that change the drive. 987 is around 1375kg minimum Nismo is around 1535kg at best 987 are relatively reasonable prices now. Could change quickly though 987 maybe youve seen the reviews already. Then go from there.
  16. Thanks dude! Worst case scenario ill pick up a 370 convertible 😂.
  17. Time has come to move on and try something else after 4 Zeds. Ultra reliable cars. Great car with a lot of character. More down low than the Nismo. If you dont want too many looks! 18. Funny thing is the slk 55 2nd gen r171 was causing issues with Caymans on the track up to 5 years ago. Handling is debatable from the track videos ive seen they seem decent and controllable. They do however have issues. This one has some mods tho
