Funnily enough that's exactly what I used on the mat! It comes out but in thick blobs, completely lubes up the hands so can't touch anything after! Annoyingly it has left a lighter patch at the front end of the mat, hopefully that'll come out when I have another go at it tonight/tomorrow. Cheers for the help gents.

Not sure if you've got this fixed or not as it was a while back, but I had the same issue. I sent my ECU to Horsham Developments, they disabled the immobiliser check, now starts just fine. The red light stays on when I'm driving (the immobiliser/alarm indicator light) but I've learnt to live with that. Also, the OEM headunit would occasionally sit in 'Secure' mode, which means it doesn't do anything - that fixed itself after 3 months happily enough. Please let me know if you got it sorted.

Might be worth running a compression test if you do find the oil dropping quickly. I have a Rev-up so know all about oil issues! (Looking to do a full engine refurb though, hopefully you don't need anything so drastic)

So I had a bottle of engine oil in the footwell for a quick journey. Turns out it leaked. Took out the mat and gave it a good rinse with soapy water, proper effort required to get the worst out. Question is, how to get it out of the foot-well carpet, as some seeped through. Thoughts?

Has the higher operating temperature of the V3 been an reported as an issue for anyone? The changing of the oil for the SC does sound like a hassle, although as my engine is currently burning oil perhaps it would be a better option for 2006 models!

Been following this and similar lists. Must say I was surprised that Wizard was running 450bhp on stock internals, I was always of the understanding that 400 was the safe max and that's a 9psi! Hope the rebuild goes well.

Just been quoted under half of what I'm currently paying - and that's with the addition of a bodykit! Particularly happy as I was previously told by other modified insurers that I'd have to wait 12 months before they could give me a discount, and I've owned the Zed for 10. So if you've been put off before, may well be worth asking. More money to build the Zed is always a good thing

Ah I'm afraid I won't be around for that, I'm doing a medical trial for money! Zedditus has a dark side my friends. If we were to do it between the 9th and 13th I could make it. I'm literally in quarantine from the 14th to November!
