got an s13 CA18det UK spec clutch master cylinder, bulkhead holes match up and it looks like it'll work perfectly, it has the bleeder on the top and the clutch pipe at the bottom which LOOKs like it's far enough away from the turbo pipe i'll have to spin the clip around so the head doesnt touch the turbo pipe, it's a tight fit! alloy rad after some wiring issues, me and mark finished off the wiring, now with factory s14 dash running oil pressure light, alternator battery light and rpm gauge all in tune fabricage arrived had my mate josh weld the floor plates in gearbox stuff making progress, slave cylinder bought new from toyota as the one that came with the box wasn't good £270 later the custom prop arrived with new uni's and grease nipples

got the dash out and began stripping the rest of the car to remove the sound deadening on the floor pan all done! just need to remove the glue left over now, using petrol, it seems to work well! swapped the engine's sump over from a rear to a front sump, bought a new baffle plate from toyota and i have also bought another front sump, soarer throttle cable to the s14 built the clutch hub together with the new bearing and all the washers and spring clips and so on 400lph walbro onto to the tank cradle some loom work, this was as bad as it looks, headache however it was my first loom, i actually quite enjoy them now made up a battery cable to reach the starter and also the solenoid wire has been extended to reach it since the starter is on the other side of the engine here's what i cut out of the nissan loom's f4 plug and ecu plug spent a rather long time like this: reading pinouts.... after some long thinking about it, the twins are going back on for now! don't have enough money to finish everything else, so for now the car will be ran this way untill i get enough cash behind me for a 6boost manifold and all the rest...ecu injectors etc finally fitted the energy suspension steering rack poly bushes shifter back from steevo, modified and extended 3 inches, fited great and seems to work fine! box resealed and hopefully won't give me any troubles, his weldeding work is excellent, just waiting on my mount and propshaft now! twins back on the engine for now to get it running nearly ready

roof spoiler and skirts are painted, rear arches are done and look amazing! cannot thank stevie enough! the man has some epic skills, colour match is identical! also after the hassle with the cheap manifold i've decided to get myself a proper 6boost from autoextreme, going to be looking at over a grand for just a mnifold but if it's as good as everyone makes on then i'll just have to go with it ---------------- rear arches reshaped walbro 400lph fuel pump turned up thanks to wayne at auto extreme put the new engine on the stand with the help of the crane to begin work only pic i took is: fuel damper removed, water pump fan removed, air con pump and fan belt off turbo turned up it's a brand new holset hx351w (the most up to date hx35 by holset) with a t3 twin scroll exhaust flange, 4" inlet, internal wastegated and has slightly lighter 7 blade compressor wheel. removed the actuator just now and the plan is to have the internal wastegate welded shut and a small plate welded over the gap for it to keep exhaust gasses flowing smoothly stripped aircon pump to reuse bracket so got the car on a sorn since the road tax was due and it's now off the road, last picture before i started the strip and here's where it's at now, just about ready to have the engine taken out removed aircon, radiator, abs pump bracket, all inlet pipework, carbon cannister, viscous fan plus cowling, front bumper and grill, clutch slave cylinder, exhaust unbolted my Trust greddy gracer aero lip arrived from japan engine coming out few weeks ago, remove the engine with box and loom attached, just pulled loom through bulkhead started collecting more bits from toyota! having boxes like these show up reguarly now :S this is all the washers, snap rings, clutch hub, pressure plate bolts and more stuff drivetrain related tried on my vertex skirts
-
hockey pucks arrived for using as engine mounts also since i've got a greddy lip coming i've wanted a set of vertex skirts, rear spats and a dmax roof spoiler to go with it all which in my opinion will complete the car for me so the car was put back on standard shockers and wheels to go into the bodyshop for some work it's going in to get the rear arches done as when they were flared by pervious owner they have started rusting slightly where rolled which is unfortunate as it just needed a lick of underseal on the inside and they would have been fine also will be getting my skirts painted and have a new roof spoiler i bought from ep racing painted and fitted

the rear casing has to be removed to get the shifter linkage off there is a small bolt which has a ball and spring, this bolt has to be removed and both ball and spring removed with a pencil magnet as they risk falling inside the box internal shifter/selector linkage rod some other parts ready to go away for modification r154 front prop section s14 front prop section shifter shifter housing shifter rod will also be sending away my spare fuel rail to be modified bought these from wayne@autoextreme ACT 6puck sprung paddle! will be ordering my flywheel and walbro 400lph fuel pump this week from him, excellent service from him! unfortunately i was missing the release hub since it's a pull clutch on a toyota, so got on the phone to toyota and have made an order of a few parts i need complete clutch release hub with all spring clips and washers as seen below in green, all pressure plate housing bolts and some other parts wasn't cheap.... so after recieving all my bolts i needed for the job that friday night i set about fitting the japspeed manifold to my engine to see how much work was required for making the external wastegate fit however that was cut short the manifold wouldn't go over the head studs, was actually laughing at how bad the fitment was, even the gasket they supplied had clearly not been used for reference as when you hold the gakset up to the manifold it's completely off
-
Oh, just noticed your location haha, didn't see that when i read it on my phone earlier! ah cool haha i believe there are quite a few 350z owners up here. i'm mates with pete clark if you know his white z?

took it out skidding one night in the middle of nowhere at an old banger track it's only a single track place so it's tight and the corners are 90 degree bends so it was a tad tricky had the 4.3 diff welded then basically screwed myself when i was drunk by going over my ankle and doing the ligaments and tendons, in my foot/up my leg had to take some time out of the car and missed a drift day i'd paid for bought an r154 toyota manual 5 speed box from phil at driftworks as it was his spare backup box for the driftworks r32 r154 prop shaft end cleaned up bought a crane, not lending this one out this time!! brings nothing but hassle haha bought a front sump as the soarer 1jz engines are all rear sump which would hit the cross member/rack on my 14 and bought a 1jz got it home

bought an r200 diff subframe from a uk spec turbo, had it blasted and powdercoated, then bought and put in some driftworks solid diff and subframe bushes I had adjusted the timing, put on a decat/stainless steel exhaust and a little k&n filter onto the n/a engine the night before a rolling road day, on the rollers at wallace perofrmance at an sxoc day, it made 126 hp at the wheels took off the front wings to roll/seal them up and bought some 18" equips but the sizes weren't good for me done a crail skid day in the car, first time properly drifting an n/a as all my last sbodies had turbo'd sr20's had to really drive the car to get it to slide, was managing to keep it pinned in 3rd gear by the end of the day once it had dried up and i could tell where the front end was going decided to do some work with the bits i had started to collect for the rear subframe upgrade opened up my r32 diff from jdmgarage ratio 48:11 being 48/11= 4.363 final drive let it drain overnight also gave it two coats of hammerite black along with my r33 driveshafts next was to toast the bushes out the rear lower arms i have spare they are about to get powdercoated black to match the subframe diff and shafts i've got some new driftworks lower arm bushes to go in the arms

Hi guys, just posting some parts of my build thread for the sake of sharing, I've signed up on here for a good look around at other build threads, also possibly on the lookout for a CD09 gearbox depending if i cannot get myself a supra 6 speed v160 I know a few guys in scotland with supercharged 350's. anyway, here's some parts of the build thread, i cannot copy it all over just now as i'm on a tea break at work so i'll get this updated as i get on through the next few days start off with the car: a stock S14 kouki jdm import, non turbo sr20de manual with low miles, no rust, immaculate shell (after having a few uk spec cars i'd learned my lesson) hmmmmm bought some cs2 coilvoers from driftworks jetwashed and some wheels on!

thanks for the welcome guys, i'll post my build up in other cars I'd considered a 350z before but for now my s14 is staying

Hi ! Just signed up on here for a nosey and a rake through the build threads / parts for sale Been into nissans for years and currently have my own jz swapped s14 I've spend the last 2-3 years building It's typical that there's a 350z power steering pump for sale on here for only £80 when I paid a lot more for mine a few months ago before I had thought about checking forums. Just upgraded from the Toyota pump Anyway, Here's my car I have a big build thread I can post on here if it's allowed since it's a 350 forum?
