I picked this up today.... had sat on a drive for over 2 years. Checked all its levels in the engine bay and apart from the rad needing water it was all good. So stuck on a new battery and she fired up and moved !!! I had an MR2 showcar before my Z and it had custom leds inside the standard rear light cluster. So i had 4 side and 4 brake lights.. however, i had the inner ones wires independantly to a switch in the cab as fog lights... Made the MOT testers happy and my neighbour who was a traffic cop said as far as he was concerned it was spot on.. it was the rest of the car that was illegal lol

Have you tried rim protectors.. basically a strip that sits on the edge of the alloy ?

Where have people sourced nice bling bling caps for oil and water bottle etc etc in engine bays :-)

Having had my arches rolled by Z Shed and test fitted alloys.. i really need some arch extensions to cover the excess rubber lol Im aware that Torque are nringing some out in a few weeks, but thought in the meantime i wpuld ask if anyone else has sourced any so i can see comparisons etc..never hurts to do some research :-) I have had no joy as yet in my search, only found very wide arch kits which i want to avoid .. I do prefer the gear change having now driven a standard Z with short shift. Will enjoy it even more once i take it apart and see what the issue is with gate :-)

Ah thats a bummer.. I had the same issue baswd in Wiltshire, till Z Shed were reccomended .. The easy part is finding someone to do it, the hard part is finding someone with experience you can trust !

Contacted Buster after a reccomendation and booked to go down today. Had my arches rolled and my stereo spliced and wired correctly so i not only had volume but all the Bose system in the rear worked with it :-) Spot on service, Bob taught me a lot today while he worked with was great too. Made a new friend today, not just met someone at a place who worked on my Z If you need help, get in touch with these guys.. you won't be disapointed ! I have now earned my sticker too..so thankyou Buster :-)

No idea on software.. they have said they need to remove the ecu and do the work on a bench and could take up to 6 hours basically. They are called Zero260 https://m.facebook.com/Zero260-Remaps-1638192393123276/

I just double checked his statement and he is saying "i can achieve 315bhp and i can improve on the stock power of 276bhp and the 350nm torque. zero260 Stage power 315Hp & 389Nm. this is a safe and reliable map but i maybe able to squeeze slighly more from it with the decat and air intake thats been done. again within its safe limit" What do you normally expect from a remap ?

I am planning on a remapp at some point in the future.. Being quoted £275 for that.. But told have plenum spacer done, decat exhausts and pop charger first to get the best from the remapp.. Apparently he can get me up to 315bhp and he did nention Torque increase but cannot recall figure, which is a shame as Torque is what i look for :')

Hi.. i did do a search but came up without the answers ... My 05 plate Z has a full decat exhaust system, this has caused the engine light to come on. I have been told this can be solved by doing an O2 sensor bypass.... If thats true..is it done via ecu update or is it a physical wire bypass ? Anyone done it, is there a HOW TOO ? Cheers :-)

Alologies if posted in wrong section..Admin, please move if this is the case. I have my 05 Z and it has a short shifter fitted and a very heavy/weighted gear knob , my issue is i am finding it very tight and on occasions a struggle to get it into gear, especially from 5th - 6th. Clutch itself is absolutely fine, its a stage one. Is this common with the short shift ? Are they not worth having in comparision to standard ? Thanks in advance for your responces :-)
