  1. So the next thing to get was some new alloy wheels. I find the touring ones not very sports and very unaggressive. I managed to pick up a set of Rays very cheap and so put them on. Looks a lot better now.
  2. I may be interested in a black one, depending on the price
  3. Haha yeh they were a bit of an eye sore.
  4. Ok so the next thing for me to do was to get some leather seats. Mine were just fabric and there was a patch on the drivers seats from where the fabric had ripped. Managed to get a set on Gumtree for under £200 delivered. They look so much better! Here is a before and after:
  5. Yeh i would use Rainex or something like that. How do you remove the boot weight?
  6. Yeh free mods are always the best! I think i may look at the rear wiper delete next...
  7. Ive never tried Rainex before, but have heard of it. May have to give it a go...
  8. I was debating a wiper delete, but im quite OCD with the car and think it would annoy me not being able to wipe the rear screen I love that chargespeed rear bumper though!! Really want one but they are just so much money once you have it fitted and painted as well...
  9. Thanks guys! Yeh it does look different. Have to say im not a big fan without the spoiler and managed to get hold of an OEM one: Ive kind of cleared myself out of money at the moment, as ive just moved out. But my next mods will be a new set of alloys in anthracite, maybe the Rays. And then some leather seats and mine are the fabric. I have also been looking at some black headlights with 'L' shape DRLs.
  10. Found a nice little spot to take some pictures...
  11. So there have been a few changes made to the car recently. The first was getting a UK spec centre gauge cluster. So i could see the damage of the fuel costs And i found out that there is no clock on the import trip computer... After that i looked at getting rid of the rear fog lense. After inspection i found that being an import it had had some red tint spray on it, and so with a knife i could simply lightly scrape it off. So it took the grand total of 5 minutes: Next i got some 'Z' badges for the front and rear: Next a managed to get hold of a stock spoiler from a guy breaking a tailgate. It looks so much better and really finishes off the rear end:
  12. I have a Jap Import Zed and so the switchable gauge in the centre pod shows Kilometers for the various options. My question is, in order to display the UK miles/MPG etc. would it be as simple as getting hold of a uk spec gauge cluster and doing a straight plug and play swap? Or would it involve more work in order for them to display the correct info? Or if anyone can direct me to someone who has done this then even better
  13. Horsford (10 mins north on Norwich) at the moment. But moving into Norwich itself in a months time. Do you live near?
  14. Got flashed and a wave by a guy in an azure Zed going past Norwich Airport yesterday at about 11am. I saw it had a Nismo spoiler on it but didnt see much else as i only saw the car at the last minute.
  15. Just thought i would attach myself to this thread as well, as Yarmouth is only like 30 mins from me
  16. I would be very interested to see how they work out for you! As i was toying with the idea to get some myself...
  17. Ok so it didnt take me long to start modifying the Zed... The first thing i wanted to do was to spray the front difuser in the bumper black. The finish and edges came out perfect and im very happy with it!
  18. I would love them! But i just dont have the money right now. The car pretty much cleared me out :/
  19. Now that i have traded in the car, I thought it would be nice to pin to the top the beginning and end pictures of the car whilst i owned it, to show how much it changed: ' ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After having a few Hyundai Coupes over the last 4 years it was time for a change. I wanted something that looked as sporty but was quicker, and the 350Z was top of my list. I managed to buy this Azure Blue Jap Import which i am really happy with. This is how she looked when i bought her:
  20. Haha it is indeed... Until i get a 350z anyway It is the most beautiful car to look at in the world! But...... Just not quick enough! Hyundai really missed a trick with not making their V6 quick!
  21. Thanks for all the info guys! This car has actually sold now so i didnt get it. But this has been very useful for looking at other potential imports!
  22. Ok ive sent the DVLA an email to see what they say. Ive definitely had a lot more response than i thought i would get for this haha.
  23. I would guess they meant front reflectors?? Although not sure why they would need to be altered. Seems like i may just have to wait ans see..To be fair the higher tax wouldnt stop me getting it. Would just be good to know. Is there anyone i can phone to find out for definite?
