[SOLD]For Sale - 350z JDM Import Azure Blue **Price Reduced**
davidv10 replied to davidv10's topic in Zeds For Sale
Unfortunately i am looking to HP finance the 370z. I know the Sales Manager at the Nissan/Suzuki dealership in Norwich, so he is sorting me out. It needs to be White, Manual, around 50k miles, and around 15k to buy. Not that im fussy or anything -
Price Reduced - Now £4,500 **The Chargespeed rear has now been sold separately so it has the stock rear bumper back on** **It has just had a new MOT so has 12 months left** So it is finally time for me to part with my 350Z. The reason for the sale is that i am upgrading to a 370z. It is a Azure Blue 54 Plate JDM Import Manual with 107,000 miles. I can just put the car back to as stock as possible and then part ex the car once the right 370z comes up, but I would rather sell it as it is to an enthusiast! Assuming it sells before im ready to buy my new car and part ex this one... I have loved the car every second of owning it, and have loved working on it and getting it to where it is today. It is in (IMO) by far the best colour and is a real head turner especially with the modifications. Being a JDM Import it comes with a few extras that the UK Spec cars do not have: - Auto dipping wing mirrors when reversing - Under Seat Lighting - JDM Option Momo Steering Wheel (which is incredibly rare) - Auto Opening/Closing Window Switch for Passenger Window (Its normally only for the drivers window) The modification list is: HKS Catback Exhaust JDM Momo Steering Wheel Coilovers (currently at about a 30mm drop) Leather Seats Z Badges Leather Seats K&N Induction Kit Rays Alloys Brembo Calipers Plenum Spacer Rear Boot Spoiler (From a JDM Celica) Drilled/Grooved Brake Discs Headlight Internals Sprayed Black Tinted Front Reflectors Nismo Sideskirts Throttle Controller Aftermarket Sound System (With Sub & Amp) White HID Headlight Bulbs (4500K) Chargespeed Rear Bumper Front Bumper Diffuser Sprayed Black Smoked Side Repeaters The car has had thousands of pounds spent on it recently and all the receipts and paperwork have been kept. It had its last service (which was a major service) during 07/2017. As the speedometer cluster unit was replaced to a UK one when the car was imported the mileage is not as it reads. It currently shows 137,000, but is about 30,000 miles over what the mileage actually is. This will go up slightly with it being my daily drive. As with a car of this age and mileage, there are always some niggles. So here are the bad bits: - The front bumper really needs a respray. It has a couple of small cracks in the paintwork and multiple stone chips. (I was planning on getting a front lip and having the whole thing resprayed before i knew i was selling) - There is quite a large chip on the windscreen near the middle. It has passed 2 MOTs fine though as just an advisory. - There is a slight rumble sound on cobbled (bumpy) roads. At first it was though to be control arm bearings, but I have had these replaced and the sound remains. - The front brakes can be a little bit squeaky at times. - All 4 alloys have quite bad curbing around the edge. I have tried to be as honest as i can with the car. Im looking for £5,000 £4,500 OVNO. I am based in Norwich. All viewings welcome. These pictures are exactly how the car is now: The following pictures are missing the new coilovers, HKS oval exhaust and single line front number plate and holder:

I have my D1 Spec Throttle Controller for sale. It comes with all the wiring and connectors The reason for the sale is that i am upgrading to a 370z and have agreed a part ex price if the car doesnt sell quickly privately. And they want the car as stock as possible so can take the aftermarket bits off. If the car sells as a whole first, the controller will then not be available. It really improves the throttle response when in sport mode (which i nearly always have it in), but then also makes bad weather driving easier when in eco mode (which i use in really bad, snowy weather). £70 collection from Norwich.

I have for sale my JDM option Momo steering wheel for sale. This was an option in Japan, and is very rare to find. So much so that I cannot find a single one for sale on the internet... I did find an USA forum thread that i have pictured below stating that on the rare occasion they are found for sale, they sell for $700+. The reason for the sale is that i am upgrading to a 370z and have agreed a part ex price if the car doesnt sell quickly privately. And they want the car as stock as possible so can take the aftermarket bits off. If the car sells as a whole first, the steering wheel will then not be available. It is a great modification to the car, making the car look very sporty, whilst keeping the Nissan badging. It has an airbag in the centre section. Please note is has a single connector for the airbag as shown below. **Reduced** £350 collection from Norwich. Or with a discount in exchange for your stock steering wheel...

I have for sale my Chargespeed rear bumper. It has been sprayed in the stock Azure Blue colour with the diffuser sprayed in satin black. It was only sprayed and fitted about a year ago and the colour match is just spot on. The reason for the sale is that i am upgrading to a 370z and have agreed a part ex price if the car doesnt sell quickly privately. And they want the car as stock as possible so can take the aftermarket bits off. If the car sells as a whole first, the bumper will then not be available. I see it as a must do modification as it completely transforms the rear of the car and makes it look so aggressive and sporty (as it should). The sale includes the bumper with the mesh, but does not include the indicator/reversing light cluster. As i need to put the light cluster back on the stock rear bumper. But i will happily swap my tinted cluster for a stock cluster on collection. £350 collection from Norwich. Before it was sprayed and fitted:

I have a JDM Momo steering wheel and my clock spring broke so i needed a new one. When i took the steering wheel off i had one airbag wire on the click spring. But looking online most people seem to have 2 wires. Having searched Google and Ebay etc. it appears that some 350s have 1 wire and others have 2 wires. Does anybody know the reason for this..?! And can you simply swap between 1 and 2 wired clock springs? I want to take off my Momo wheel to sell and put a stock wheel back on, but doesnt the stock wheel have 2 wires?? So would i need a different clock spring with 2 wires?? Any help regarding the reasons for this not being standardised would be great! I have put the two pics below (mine first then what appears to be more the norm).

Thanks for all the information guys! I dont know the exact code im afraid. I may try and get a code reader to find out. Unfortunately i dont know exactly what was done when the system was fitted, as im the second owner since it was done. But i believe its had the uprev map done. How much/how easy to fit are these O2 sensor spacers/dummy resistors? Ill have a look for some Youtube videos as well. Also, do you know of any good garages Near Norwich that would be able to fit this sort of thing? As its a bit niche and not all garages would want to do it.

I bought my Zed about 2 years ago now. I will say its an import, but not sure that will make any difference. I bought the car already decatted and with an aftermarket exhaust system. The check engine light never made an appearance throughout the whole time, even with me changing the catback section a couple of times throughout that period. But now the engine check light has decided to make an appearance and the code the garage read was O2 sensor in bank 1 (i think thats what they said). Which is the sensor for the cats i believe/i was told. The garage said thats because there are no sensors giving a current as its decatted, so it will always cause the light to come on. But its been decatted for 2 years without having the light come on. Does anyone have an ideas as to why it would start coming on with nothing changing..? Or how I can get it to go and stay away? The only thing the garage advised was thatwhen i told them i started using Premium Unleaded a week or so before the light came on, and they said it could be this as it can happen with Japanese sports cars especially imports..? So i emptied the tank and refilled with normal BP unleaded and had the light reset a couple of days after. But within a day or so it came back on. Any ideas or advice on how to get the light to stay away will be greatly appreciated! I have got my hands on a stock Y-pipe and will get some stock cats if I have to, but they arent cheap so would rather just get rid of the light. Thanks in advance!

Yeh thats what im after. The bumper isnt in great condition so will get that resprayed at the same time. Haha you wont look back if you do.
-
Thanks buddy!
-
Yeh just a little! Haha. Thanks mate, im just after a small front lip to go with the rest of the body and then its pretty much how i want exterior wise. Yeh Chargespeed rear was a must! The rear bumper was the one thing i really didnt like stock as it tucks up really high.

Ok so its been a while since ive updated this thread, but a few things have happened. Firstly I got myself a new exhaust as the Japspeed one i had never sat straight and developed a rattle in the tailpipes so it had to go. I found this HKS catback on Ebay for a good price. Ive never seen one of these on a 350z, but it fits, looks and sounds good. Next i had an issue with the lower control arms, so seeing as the garage had to take apart the suspension anyway, i decided to have the coilovers that i bought ages ago fitted. As well as looking better sitting a little lower, the handling difference is mega.

Next Norfolk-Yarmouth Mini Meet 22nd September 2019
davidv10 replied to TimC's topic in Local Meets Across The UK
I would definitely be up for a meet soon. Been waiting over a year for my first one haha. -
As the title says, im after the fuel filler flap in Azure blue. Looks like mine has been resprayed and does not match the car at all angles.
-
Ok thanks guys. Was just worried that i couldnt find any HKS single backbox but twin pipe systems for the Zed. They were all true dual systems with two pipes all the way down. Unless its a very old system not in production anymore? Or a JDM only exhaust? I think im going to go ahead with it and take the gamble though.
-
Ive come across this 'HKS' exhaust on ebay, but i cannot seem to find anything like it on Google, and the centre pipe looks a slightly different shape to other systems. Has anyone come across this system before? Or any opinions as to whether it looks like it will fit?
-
Just a small update, but i decided to change from a square to an oblong plate at the front. It definitely makes the car look wider!
-
I got a Japspeed K2 backbox a while ago but the fitment is terrible and its rattling, so im just going to get rid of it. So im after an aftermarket catback exhaust. Dont want it too much louder than stock and dont want drone. Just a nice note when i put my foot down. Needs to be used as new will be out of the price bracket. Thanks
-
Does anyone know what exhaust this is? And if so, any opinions on it? Im after a fairly quiet aftermarket exhaust with not much drone. Any information and opinions would be great
