I have my K&N 57i induction kit for sale that I managed to get off my Z before it was traded in. The piping and filter are in very good condition, however as expected the metal heat shield has some surface rust where the black coating has come off on the bottom. This cannot be seen when it is installed on the car. It does has two of the four bolts that hold the heat shield to the filter holder that have snapped (as pictured below). However it still holds fine with the two bolts left. £150 collection from Norwich. Or can get a quote to post.

**Reduced** Very Rare - JDM Option Momo Steering Wheel
davidv10 replied to davidv10's topic in 350z Parts For Sale
Price reduced - £300 -
Just a couple of little bits updated. Firstly i had to do the GTR Stop/Start button upgrade. I managed to find one on Ebay for £25, so that was a bargain! Secondly, my key fob was rather tatty and had the Nissan badge on it rather than the Z badge. So decided to get a new one.

So this was sold but then the buyer messed about and messed about and didnt pay so its going back up for sale. So please see the below details again: I have for sale my JDM option Momo steering wheel for sale. This was an option in Japan, and is very rare to find. So much so that I cannot find a single one for sale on the internet... I did find an USA forum thread that i have pictured below stating that on the rare occasion they are found for sale, they sell for $700+. The reason for the sale is that i have upgraded to a 370z and for the trade in they wanted the car as stock as possible so I took what i could off the car. It is a great modification to the car, making the car look very sporty, whilst keeping the Nissan badging and genuine parts. It has an airbag in the centre section. Please note is has a single connector for the airbag as shown below. The pictures really dont do it justice, it just looks amazing! **REDUCED** - £300 collection from Norwich.

Can you replace a 2009 Bose Headunit with a 2013 one?
davidv10 posted a topic in I.C.E & Electronics
So basically i didnt check properly and assumed i could bluetooth my phone for music not just calls. And of course was wrong. I have the Bose with Nav headunit. Is it possible to replace the unit with a newer model headunit to get bluetooth music streaming? Or is there any other way you can do it? Basically i want to be able to skip tracks etc without having to reach into the centre console to my phone. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated -
Thanks mate, yeh it definitely does! I cant understand why this isnt done from the factory. Especially the rear!
-
Thanks mate. I went for 6000k headlight bulbs. Which makes a nice white but not blue. Then white LED sidelight and number plate bulbs. Chrome coated front and rear indicator bulbs to get rid of the fried egg effect. Then white LED bulbs for the interior cabin, sun-visor mirrors and boot light. In total i think it cost me like £50 for all bulbs.

Thanks Yeh i try and do everything as properly as i can, whilst having to do everything at home haha. The 370z is worlds above the 350z in my opinion. The grip difference is the main thing ive noticed. The 350z i could get the back end out very easily and in the wet i had to be very careful. It almost felt like the traction control was doing nothing. However the 370z just grips and grips. I tried to get the tail out on an (empty) roundabout and it just gripped instead. Its those hefty 275 rear tires! Also the acceleration is just that much more effortless and smoother. Next mods will involve a little more noise as its a bit too quiet for me stock. I dont want to go silly, but it just needs a little more. So going to look for a cat back exhaust and a CAI. Also im sure ill do some more little bits in the meantime.
-
Job 3: Only a small job but wanted to smooth out the rear end by removing the '370z' badging to only keep the centre Z badges.
-
Job 2: Spray the front bumper diffuser black to match the rear and replace the headlight bulbs from the standard yellow to bright white whilst the bumper was off.
-
So it didnt take long to start the modifications. In fact they started the very same day... Job 1: Spray the rear bumper diffuser black, tint the rear fog light to match, clean the exhausts while the bumper was off and replace the Nissan badges with Z badges.

So after 2 1/2 years of ownership the time came to trade in the 350z for something newer... A 370z! I have loved every minute of owning the car and put a lot of time and money into it! Here are some Before and After pictures showing how much the car changed: Also, here is a link to the Mod Diary for my new 370z: https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/121771-my-white-370z-gt/

So the time came for me to trade in my 350z after 2 1/2 years of ownership. I loved every second of owning it but it was just time to upgrade to something newer. I was definitely going to stay with the Z range! (Here is my 350z Mod Diary for anyone interested: https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104168-my-modified-blue-350z/) So here is my new Pearl White 370z GT. Although it was sad to drive off leaving the 350z at the dealership I could not be happier with the 370z! This is how she looks now:
