  1. Yeh thats good with me. I will be coming from Norwich, so can do Wherever location wise Yes that would be good! Im almost always free on a Sunday.
  2. I found another Norfolk meet topic, and put this idea there. And it looks like @Kryptek49 and maybe another is in.
  3. We are looking to try and do a Norwich meet (possibly next Sunday) if anyone is interested. Its in the last few comments of this thread:
  4. With it now being Summer, it would be nice to get a meet organised at some point if people are up for it
  5. Damn, ive only just seen this. Im in Norwich, so will definitely be up for a little Norfolk/East Anglia meet
  6. Thanks! I do agree if it is badged as a performance/trim level that it isnt. However, i have taken off the Nismo badge and filled in the holes, as i have no intention of making people think its a Nismo. I just love the bumper itself haha
  7. Next update involved me taking the new bumper back off again I decided to make my own DRLs, as the inserts were there for them anyway. And i was not going to pay either £1,200 or £350 for the two variants of buyable ones. So i purchased some eagle eye LEDs and got measuring and drilling into my custom made inserts. They have come out brilliantly, if i do say so myself, and they come on and off with the ignition. They cost me about £15, but took a lot of time and effort
  8. So it turns out it was the relay causing the issue... I have now replaced it and everything seems fine.
  9. The pics look great! I would also like to know a rough cost
  10. Ah, thats a good idea That will then rule out the overloading/not enough current if it still does it with only half.
  11. I mean im no LED expert either This did cross my mind, however all the 10 separate LEDs are going on and off together, making me thing its something once all the LED wires have become one The wiring for each side basically goes from 5 separate wires, to all into 1 wire. Then the 1 wire from each side goes into 1 final wire in the engine bay, and then that 1 wire runs up into the cabin to the resistor and fuse, and then to the cigarette lighter power wire (and the earth is earthed in side of the footwell). This is a diagram to show the wiring setup. I do have a resistor in the setup, so is it maybe faulty? Or just not powerful enough? Or is it possibly the wire itself, as its not particularly thick, its just normal red black wire. Maybe having 10 LEDs running through it is just too much for it?
  12. I recently got a ‘15 Nismo front bumper, and have now installed some leds to make my own DRLs. I tried them with a master on off switch, but kept blowing a fuse, so in the end i scrapped that, and just have then come on automatically with the ignition. I have hooked the power up to the cigarette lighter in the passenger footwell. They have a relay/fuse installed as well. I am finding that every 20-30 seconds or so the LEDs go off and then a second later come back on again. Anyone any ideas why this is happening?? I have in total 10 ‘eagle eye’ LEDs coming off the cigarette lighter power source. I wouldnt have thought that was too much and overloading it...?? Or the cigarette lighter just doesnt have enough power to properly power them all? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! These are the LEDs i got. And then below is them installed.
  13. Thanks guys! Im so so happy with it.
  14. This next update is a big one. I managed to pick up an official Nismo front bumper on Ebay. These are extremely rare to find used, so i jumped on it straight away. It did have some of the accessories/plastics missing and a few bits of damage, however i was able to source/fix most of them myself. Im so so happy with it, and have been after one of these since i got the car. Being a genuine Nissan part, both the colour and fitment was perfect. As i have no red on the car, i sprayed the red accents anthracite grey to match the wheels and door handles, and sprayed the badges and side repeaters at the same time. I mocked up some blanking plates for the DRL holes, and will hopefully have my own DIY DRLS there shortly. Before and After: When I received the bumper: Spraying some bits: Finished bumper:
  15. I have managed to get hold of a used 2015 Nismo front bumper, and just need a few plastic bits that its missing. Firstly i need the stock nismo number plate holder, as the bumper shape is different to the ‘09 GT model so mine wont fit. The second is a set of the black plastic inserts that go in just below the DRLs. Hopefully the below pic helps show which bits im on about. Or alternatively if anyone knows where i can get either of these that would be great. David
  16. Still available: Battery Cover Plastic - £30 Stock Lip Spoiler - £25 Touring Alloys - £50 Stock Azure Blue Sideskirts (small scrape/dent along the underside of one of them) - Free (wont post)
  17. Oh yeh! Its pretty much my opinion to every Z, so i lose track who ive said it to
  18. Great diary! The yellow and black theme looks great! The thing i think would really finish it off (IMHO of course) is to spray the headlight internals black.
