  1. Sorted out the LED indicators flashing to quickly today with a couple of load resistors. So all bulbs look the same now which is what I was after. Fog light, reversing light and indicators all the same style of bulb. All like this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161978248138?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  2. Not a very good photo, but they are bright!!!!
  3. Spent a couple of hours installing these this afternoon, Before: "] After: Fitted them with cree Led's but found I need load resistors on the indicators despite them being canbus Led's. Easy enough to sort that out. Light units are plug and play if using original bulbs. Got a few skint knuckles for my troubles And yes I know the car needs washed again
  4. Oh well, suppose I will just try them out for myself Just ordered a pair of cobra HFC's to match up with the rest of the cobra system. Skint knuckles time again putting them on probably when they arrive.

  8. Is anyone running Cobra HFC with the cat back cobra system? Everyone appears to be running Berks. Is it just a matter of the difference in price? Or is there some other reason? Just curious.
  9. Since we have had only 5 dry days here since I bought the car in October, which I spent working on the car doing bits and bobs. Thought I would take her out for a spin, 80 mile round trip in the wet to see how it handles. Running on Uniroyal Rainsport 3's all round and must say they are a great tyre in the wet.. Took a photo just to remember how crap the weather is here.

    Upgraded HID's

Good guide here for changing the original bulbs, http://www.350z-uk.c...g-front-bumber/ Replacing the high beam involves boring a hole in the cover plate for the grommet on the hid kit the rest is just simple wiring and mounting the ballast wherever you want it. Drop me a pm if you need any more info to do the job. Good video here for doing the job but you dont need to take the headlight out to do it,

    Upgraded HID's

Item number for ebay is 251482091158. or these are the same, http://www.ebay.co.u...oMAAOSw14xWJahN That's for the h7 high beam kit. It only needed 2 D2r 6000k bulbs for the dipped beam as they were HID factory fitted. http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT For the sidelight just bought these always handy to have a few spare. http://www.ebay.co.u...GYAAOSwv0tVPd6G

    Upgraded HID's

Got the car washed too, it was covered in sandy coloured dust today as were all the cars round here for some reason. Any way took the car out for a spin in the dark, and for £30 odd that the bulbs and HID kit cost and a couple of hours work, its well worth the effort as its all dark country roads around here. Much better than OEM for sure.

    Upgraded HID's

At last got a decent day to do this job. Upgraded original HID bulbs in dipped beam to 6000k bulbs and installed full HID kit 6000k into high beam with LED side lights. Pics of the difference below. Took about 2 hours total fairly easy install.
  22. At the risk of getting shot down in flames here! From the MPSS gang Currently trying out a full set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3's on the car, as it has rained here torrentially for the last 12 weeks. Rays 18 with correct sizes front and back. I must say first impressions are they are a superb tyre in the wet, standing water is no issue to them at all. Greasy roads they hold on very well indeed. No chance of finding dry roads as yet but so far so good.
  23. Black 350z fuelling up at Roadchef services about 3.30 yesterday.
