    Non Uprev remap

Yes they say they do it directly on the circuit board - sounds a little worrying

    Non Uprev remap

I must go back and ask this guy what exactly he's for doing - There MUST be some element of hacking involved.

    Non Uprev remap

No their website isn't up to date. They say they can remap the car on the dyno for £480
  5. Being in Northern Ireland tuning options are limited. There is an Uprev agent 150 miles away in the Republic of Ireland, however there is also a non Uprev tuner who are reasonably local who also say they can tune the 350z. They aren't any cheaper (but will save me a day and a 300 mile round trip) but don't seem to be using Uprev, Is this possible ? Is this a case of somehow hacking before tuning? I thought the only route here was Uprev. The tuner in question is these guys http://www.auto-tune.co.uk/

    Tonneau Cover Template

Received from Veeg33! Many thanks. I'll keep that as a wee job for a rainy day!
  7. Am I right - these won't fit my 2004 350z?
  8. Are there any pics around of this kit fitted ? Also what year of car is this for?
  9. I would like to make my own divider but of course need a template of an original one. Does anyone happen to have a template or could someone draw round their cover and make me one? Of course I'm happy to send a few quid for your troubles
  10. I'm actually looking to make one of these . If you could draw me a paper template and put it in the post i'd happily throw you a few quid
  11. Did you get a template? I'm late to the party! Just fitted a cobra exhaust and now I'm interested in sound deadening.
  12. Yes I agree on the 40 - specifically I had a Mazda CX-7 turbo and the recommendation was to use 5w40 instead of 5w30 to avoid smoke issues. Anyway I only do a few thousand miles a year and change my oil a couple of times a year so I think I'll be safe enough.
  13. back to the Helix - no to the 5w40 and yes to any of the 5w30? Anyone know the difference between AF and AG, Ultra and HX7? Is it just all marketing?
  14. Any more feedback on this one? I did try a terraclean on my old Celica GT4 and it did make a small but measurable difference. We have a very coked up VAG1.4TDi at home and I was looking at this service - Terraclean is really expensive if you want want both the intake and and fuel system treatment. Whereas the above is £99
  15. The bolts were a mess, really rusted. I just cut them pressed them out with a ball joint splitter. I got everything replaced using little ramps on my driveway and I'll say I didn't like it!
  16. Euro car parts as they often do have great deals on Shell Helix at the minute. Euro and Shell both say 5w40 but as you know 5w30 is the norm on these which I'd rather stick to. They do stock a couple of 5w30s but I'm not sure if these are suitable: Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-30 5Ltr Shell Helix HX7 Professional AF 5w-30 5Ltr Shell Helix Ultra Professional AG 5W-30 5Ltr Then on the other hand Opie recommend Shell Helix Ultra ECT 5W-30 which isn't stocked locally. I'm really not looking to spark an oil debate as they go on all day!
  17. Cool I was just worried about mating to the cat with my new y pipe
  18. Changing my exhaust - I was going to delicately remove my old one and keep it but it's grotty as anything so I don't care about it. I was going to just cut the Y pipe with the grinder and grind off the bolts. Is this ok? The bolts aren't studs that are integrated to the cat or anything? Should I be able to cut them then bang them out?
  19. I'm after a plenum spacer, pm me details. I'm just out and about and on my phone will chat later properly
  20. They should have put that in the manual
  21. PM on it's way What I should clarify is cobra tips can be got on their own and aren't cheap but they won't sell the right angle section hence looking at aftermarket for the whole lot
  22. I've been sourcing separate second hand components to put together a cobra exhaust on a budget. The last thing I need is the bends and tips to complete the back box. My options are: 1. Powerflow Custom fabrication - expensive 2. Source genuine Cobra bits - Chatted with Tarmac Sportz and Cobra themselves who say they don't sell components 3. Buy stainless steel 90 degree bends off ebay and exhaust tips. I'm looking closely at option 3 - The bends are readily available but does anyone know of any reasonable tail pipe trims? It would need to be 2.5" inlet. I've been looking around obviously but can't find much that looks suitable - seen a couple of things from China but not sure about them. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzfzCjXpuIykS1ZWdHk2X3ZLTHJVMDFoc3NlVkpHTGxfaklJ/view
