Some recent topics that i've seen which made me click on...

The Vape game is killing the car scene ( this was a sarcastic article created to generate traffic) - I really don't want to go down that route.

@S7nny - Been pretty busy at work so haven't had much chance to PS, but just a quick update. Erm.. so you have 1 alloy done, but with 3/4 of a tyre

War is too profitable for any government to want to end them. They're all cleverly engineered by those in power in order to promote fear and make people depend on the government.

ok,so after selling my ps4 10 months ago just decided to get another one as I really wanted to play the new Need For Speed.

NOT IMPRESED...after 2 hours of updates .... ...felt like playing Underground...

at the moment not much to say but will update after a few more hours of gameplay

It's been widely marketed as a return to the Underground style.....

Played Fallout 4 for a few hours. Spent most of my time building a settlement!

 

Very addictive game although it is a little buggy, but expected that anyway (similar to Skyrim). Story line and dialogue options outweigh the minor issues and the game creates a brilliant post apocalyptic atmosphere. Cant wait to invest some real time into it.

 

Hopefully the game will be patched soon to iron out the glitches, but if the story and dialogue remain strong then I wont mind too much.

 

What's the whole point of it? What's the actual end result of that game?

 

I have a PS4 and considering it for the boys (14 and 16) but not sure if they will like it. One likes to mess stuff like and the other likes to build empires etc

They tend to be time-sponges. So great if you want some peace and quiet!

When I switched from my 307 to the Zed I had 4 months left on my policy. They wanted £110 to cancel the policy plus a £50 cancellation fee. They were unable to offer me a vehicle switch as their underwriters refused to insure me as I was under 28 years old so they retracted the cancellation fee and wanted me to pay £110 for the rest of the cover and we'd call it quits.

We ended up agreeing on a fee of £80 and it was all done and dusted. 2 months down the line I happened to check my bank statement and found that a few days after paying the £80 I had received a payment back t the tune of £93 for absolutely no reason. I was effectively paid £13 to cut my policy short - RESULT!

I won't name drop for legal reasons, so we'll just refer to them as Bastings Direct.

Alas; I have been extremely busy the last few weeks!

No, I genuinely hate the FF games. They're slow, clunky, confusing: Just a mess really. That said, I'm aware they're actually brilliant games and it's just a personal thing, so very much like TLOU which I also consider to be brilliant but I don't like.

7 was perfection for me. I literally wet myself in excitement when they announced the remake.

TLOU was an incredible game, but I found it slow and tedious at times so I can understand your viewpoint there.

I played the one that was on the PS1, the really big one. It was sodding awful, one of the worst experiences of my life and I've not touched them since.

No bugs on mine, barring a slight hiccup with some subtitles. No FPS issues either yet.

 

Combat is fine (I didn't think I'd like the fact that VATS no longer stops time, but actually it works fine and does make more sense), voice acting from the main character is brilliant to have now, and the whole feel and look of the game is immense. The crafting stuff is awkward, but I've got it figured out now so it's okay.

 

 

It's immense. It's not perfect, but then no game is.

I take it you haven't ever played Final Fantasy VII......

Think the OH has got me Fallout 4 for my birthday at the end of the month.

 

That said we had a trip to Costco last night and while perusing the tv's, cameras etc she wandered off and when she came back she had a black ops 3 card. She's good like that buying me a game with my own money

 

Anyway installed and started the campaign (after the best part of an hour installing/downloading updates) and feel so underwhelmed with the gameplay and graphics. Feels very last gen with the visuals but that said I've only completed the first mission so fingers crossed.

I do tend to play the campaign first then hit MP dipping into the hardest setting for campaign periodically.

I always play through the campaign first as well. It gives me a feel for the way the game moves and the way the weapons works. That way I don't jump into MP with all the grace of bambi on ice (with an automatic weapon).

Keep having to stop myself from buying Fallout 4 because then I'll never get off the playstation.
