hi anyone with an r35 gtr out there that knows or can measure the boot lid end to end for me ? looking at getting a spoiler thats made for the gtr for my 350z and want to know the width of the legs on it

from your first pics it seems that the locking nut has come apart in 2 peices so the nut is still on and not the bolt snapped so it just a case of finding something thatll grip the bit of the nut left. got a pick of whats left?

at home yes in a garage/workshop its a 5 min job happens more times than it should lol that and people loosing the keys for the locking nuts

the only option is to bash an old socket onto it and then brute force or s a weld a nut to it and then use a socket

I'm thinking about doing a rocket bunny zed and been looking at the chassis mounted wings from USA not that cheap but very different and suits a rb kit down to a tee

That's it people if you want top quality pay for it if your building a track / drift car this is ideal with each bit costing circa 250 it's not a big heart ache to replace if damaged plus if they making them lead times shouldn't be to long for replacement parts. As for the other rep out on ebay it comes from China is an alibaba special and will cost u more than you think with import tax plus the high risk of transport damage

And with a kit like this even the real none needs a lot of body mods to fit so it not that bad if they not 100%

Some people on various forums have had fitment issues with various kits and lips spoilers. From what I gather from reading around they tend to make copies of copies so that leaves a big margin for errors to occur. But they are selling a kit that goes for best part of 4grand by the time u get it in UK for only a qaurterof the price

Just doing my usual browse of car parts and seen that knightsracer are now doing a full rocket bunny copy kit for £1000 all in Or each bit can be brought separate ranging from 100 to 250 depending on part Not bad and they do make some nice stuff I know they haven't got the best rep on here but is a UK company and says made in UK better than buying from flea bay from China http://www.knightracer.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=3013

have run through a full works all fuses are good and everything working as should engine runs fine just no speedo lol but revs to top and idles fine. even the retrofitted cruise control buttons work . well just the activation light comes one (cruise green light) as i ant set a speed as no speedo and dash lights deactivate the cruise by default. codes i get match up with a cut wire aswel p1001 and p1212

Right guys any one got access to a Nissan consult 2 device. I've had a bit of a nightmare when relocating my cruise control and spliced a wrong wire and caused and electric fault to be present and now I've got no speedo. abs brake TCS and slip lights on dash other than that all works fine put back wire and tried an ecu reset but no joy and don't fancy the 70 quid Nissan gonna charge me.

Help just been playing around relocating my cruise control. Put it all together turn power on get all lights up on dash. Abs handbrake tcs and slip tried driving to a mates to reset using his code reader no codes but as I was driving I noticed I had no speedo either. Tried and ecu reset(pedal dance 3 times) still not cleared. I've now returned it to how it was b4 I started but still no change Any ideas guys

no problem searching is a skill lol ive just done a custom tablet install so im thinking on that panel somewhere or in the ash tray bit ive got a trip to France at end of the month and im now hoping to have this in by then would defo help me out on the 600 mile trip there

thats the tricky bit as it goes through the spiral cable in the steering hub and you like me have just unpluged the multi connector air bag side so would need to find the corresponding wires on the other side of the unit then splice into them. gonna have my wheel off tomorrow at some point so ill have a little investigation and get some pics if i can find anything

i too have thought about this should just be a case of tracing the wires from the back of the steering wheel and extending them to the switch panel its only 2 wires so cant be that hard but havent had the chance to do it myself yet

that to me looks like an unhealthy zed then did they not say anything? after looking at this thread power can vary a little but that to me seems alot below the average to me
