My bumper has suffered from many stone chips after nearly 11 years on the road, just wondered if anyone knows where and for how much i could get it resprayed. Theres also a small crack in it, i dont know if this is fixable?

Have you driven it since the mod? Can you notice a difference?

Never done the oil myself but the trans and diff fluid are a doddle, providing you can get underneath easily!

Just a quick one... When in neutral if i rev the engine there is a slight high pitch scream sort of noise (its hard to explain, sort of like a whine). If i press the clutch down and rev the engine there is no whining noise and all sounds normal. Its the original clutch and the cars done 100k. Could it be the clutch bearing whining? Cheers

Mk1 over a mk2!!! I drove a friends mk1 on track, it had done over 150k miles and it was the most fun ive ever had on track. Much more exciting than the zed. You can chuck it about and get so much feedback from the car.

Youve done a good job there mate! Main thing is youre ok, as for the big lump of metal, that can be replaced.

Is the throttle response increase noticeable? Im guessing it revs a lot faster at idle?
