  1. Welcome, digging those wheels, just needs some matching centre caps
  2. Wow is all I have to say mate - Those stickers/vinyls look very professional, almost like a limited edition from factory sorta thing. Really dig it Unfortunately, my funds won't allow it either, but I'm sure the right buyer will chew your arm off at that price. She seems mint and very well cared for GLWTS
  3. Mikevv

    XL tyre rating

I always thought it was just a "stronger" version, like more reinforcement, for eXtra Load We shall see what else the forum guru's know, but that's my guess
  4. As above, the advert seems legit, but I am a) not the seller, and not responsible for anything that goes wrong, so buy at your own risk here is the link - Good luck http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-370Z-19-FORGED-RAYS-alloys-NISMO-350Z-S15-SUPRA-GTO-SKYLINE-R35-GTR-/231847904769?hash=item35fb364601:g:escAAOSw~OVWuRoX
  5. Usually a reason why... I'd steer clear.
  6. Sorry mate long gone, was rusted to crap so it was binned
  7. Hi guys, my front wipers don't work, so I checked if they were blocked, and they are not. The back sprays fine, as do the (annoying) headlight washers, but the windscreen ones do not at all. I checked it earlier and had my brother check for leaks.... it's coming out the bottom of my car, almost in the passenger front wheel arch area. I was thinking maybe when they did my MOT and changed my exhaust they knocked it off somewhere or caused a cut/break in the line? I can't get under the car, and the ground is wet/raining the moment so I was thinking someone might have a diagram of some sort to point me in the direction so I at least know what lines are what Any help would be appreciated - Don't fancy paying someone to "fix" my wipers and stuff like that
  8. This is exactly what I'm looking for, mine dribbled out the driver side, wouldn't even fill a thimble - Passenger side doesn't work at all. Had to drive to work tonight with a grease smeared windscreen cause I didn't know they wouldn't work! Also found out that the wiper motors are now making a LOT of noise, maybe caused from using during icy/cold conditions putting strain on the motor? Read somewhere that the wipers might seem free but might actually have a tiny bit of ice freezing them to the screen and then the motor has to pull it free ( personally didn't notice this ) but that seems to be a common theory. Any idea on how easy/much they are to replace? They still work, but want to prepare for the inevitable
  9. My dad recently drove his company 3 series through about a foot of water, engine died and couldn't be restarted. The air filter was full of water, like a sponge. He was going through slowly, then decided to speed up cause he didn't want it to leak in through the door seals, the water came over the bonnet and it died about 20 feet later Needless to say, £23k worth of repairs wrote his car off. Weird thing is, the mechanics kept changing their minds, one said it turned over freely, the other said it was hydrolocked. Go figure. Had a friend go through a similar amount of water in his shitty Peugeot 206 - it too sucked up a lot and died, couldn't stop laughing when he asked " is that bad? "
  10. Personally I would go for the 2nd one, but only due to mileage and to me it seems a better deal. I don't know much about BWC dealers but do your research on them first On to the question you're asking, I think you're confusing that with the 350z, as all the cars I saw on google images matched the for sale car. Maybe they realised not everybody was keen on THAT much orange, and it looks a bit naff The seats/doors is enough for me and looks quite different
  11. This is why I drive naked. Can't get any dirt on it. Although I get a bit excited sometimes...
  12. Personally I'd go either a new Mustang, but the depreciation might be a turn off for you Failing that, the E92 M3 ( not E93/E90- no likey for me ) is a fantastic car. That V8 really sings higher up My only gripe is they look a bit boring from behind, and interior is very dull considering how special the car is and the cost of it - Also I think running costs of the services just sucks. I ignore fuel, cause smiles per miles if what matters, and the difference between 20-25 mpg isn't that much anyways. If you are really wanting to stretch it, BMW M4's are coming in at arond £45k at the moment, so give it some time and you might grab a bargain if you're willing to save up a bit longer? Please let us know what you go for in the end Just my £0.02, but the Maserati's and other exotic/high end cars (Aston/Porsche etc) are too expensive to run on a budget of £35k, the BMW should be a bit better but still damn harsh on the old wallet
  13. But the standard of living is so much higher. First of all they have this weird thing called sun and warmth, haven't experienced either in the UK Everything there is cheap, and wages generally are a lot higher. Taxes are <10% usually so that's not bad, but I hear income tax is worse, haven't researched it cause I'm not going to live there any time soon. The Mrs refused to live there, despite never having gone there. My bro's SO lives in Cleveland if that's any difference? I know the west coast is expensive to live in, houses included. But when you can buy a fairly newly built 2 bedroom/2 bath "condo" for £40k/$60k you'd be mad not to Just get one of those internet brides, pray she's an alright human being and actually female, and greencard for you :3
  14. My issue is I'm too irrational/spontaneous hahaha. I SEE, I WANT. That's why I take loans haha. Hate waiting around for savings etc. Figured just borrow the money, have my toys now and pay them off slowly I just can't get a mortgage alone on my @*!# wages, barely afford a shed, let alone a damned house. UK housing market is pathetic, if only I had a green card for the states. Houses are cheap, as is the fuel (albeit bad quality) and they have all the guns you can ever wish for. Just gotta wait for my big bro to hurry his move up so I can get it
  15. Forget houses etc, your already £8k in debt and now want to finance a £30k+ brand new car!!! I know your young, but surely you must see the financial madness of what your proposing. Effective your proposing to put your self close to £40K in debt for on a car at the age of 22, if the banks/credit companies have any morals/codes of practice they really should refuse to let you finance a £30k+ car. We all learn/live by our mistakes, what ever you do please don't put anyone else down as a 'guarantor' on any credit/finance you try and pull off to get a Mustang. Most of the loans are interest free so I can, god forbid I lose my job, hold out a while. I know what you're saying, I won't be looking to buy for another year or so while I pay all this crap off and watch the Used market of stangs. Thinking pick up a used one for <£28k and put down a big ass deposit like 10-12k and just enjoy it - unless me and the mrs get more serious and look into housing properly ( she goes to med school for 7 years in September )
  16. I realise that the OP was after a 370 when he mentioned 2011... What I'm saying is ALL roadsters eventually leak, especially soft tops.
  17. Coupe all day every day for me. The roadsters look bloody awful roof up, and a bit awkward with the roof down. They also tend to leak and give horrendous road noise. Just my 2p.
  18. Yeah, wait it out for the facelift in 2017/18 hahaha
  19. Think he's already left us and gone to the Mustang forum I have joined mustang6g.com lol
  20. Try wheel woolies They seem decent from reviews
  21. Not liking the quad tips, but the tyres are looking great. I thought 275's were mad... well done on getting 295's to fit!
  22. Check Torqens website, I had a look on there when I needed gaskets, they seem to have them all
  23. Pahaha brilliant! At least you didn't suggest car sex! Never going to happen in one of my cars!
  24. Most people my age don't research costs of things... they call up one insurance company for a 1.2 @*!# box and then accept that is the norm. My first car was a 2003 318i - nice car, boring as hell to drive, but cheap to insure surprisingly - £1600 for an 18 year old with no experience or NCB lol a 1.1- 1.4 @*!# box was only about £200 a year cheaper and I wasn't willing to drive any of those - Again I paid the price for that, but was actually £100 a month more than what I'm paying now for the Z, and I was on higher wages but had more tax and expenses like fuel to deal with - A tank 14 work days or so. So my logic is, I've done it before, and I can do it again Like you say, why not, while I can. Just gotta wait it out and be patient for once... You shouldn't just accept that price as the norm , £700 to insure the Zed and I'm 21 too When I get my 2nd year of NCB it'll be around that too, also there's a lot of variables to insurance :/
