  1. If only I saw these valves a week ago, just had my wheels refurbed and would have matched my gold nuts nicely GLWTS
  2. Hi guys, I'm moving house in about 8 weeks and have started a clear out! I have the front tyres, center caps and nuts for sale Still have the OEM center caps, and 4 of the nuts ( I sold the full set with locking nuts n had 4 left over obviously ) The tyres are Falken ZE914's - 225/45/18 and have around 4mm of tread - You can be the judge of it based on the pictures - Not quite sure what they are worth, so they are going FREE to anyone who can collect Maybe a bit of a give back to the forum community

    Rays

I know I'm a bit late for this, but maybe if the sale falls through you might be interested in them? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107103-set-of-4-rays-mpps-tyres-for-sale/ They do come with (arguably the best) tyres too, not that you wanted them but hey.
  4. When you say 4x4 do you mean pick up truck style, or Chelsea tractor style? I always quite liked the BMW X6, and the new Mercedes GLE/GLC aren't bad either. Never got on with Land Rover Discovery's but the Range Rover Sports are nice The Mitsubishi L200s are crap, imo, but hey, what about the VW Amarok? Or a Nissan Navara? They seem okay If England wasn't so pathetically small I'd recommend a Dodge Ram or Ford F150 haha there's a Ram near me and it's huge, but that V8 sounds glorious as it bumbles down the road, hear him miles away
  5. My parents had a similar experience, the travel agent told them and swore that they would get a dodge charger with a V8. Not the SRT but the R/T. Still not bad Arrived, only to be given the choice of either a Focus/similar or some Ford Escapes. NOT HAPPY. Mum turned down my dads proposal of adding $80 or something like that for a C6 Corvette haha. Rental companies are sneaky, "This car or similar" - They consider a Chrysler to be "similar" to the German trio... which okay fine in size, sure, but quality - not a chance.
  6. I tried Blackcircles last night, ended up over £70 more expensive than Oponeo , so they got my business - MPSS also, excited to fit em to refurbed wheels too

    350z prices

Did you at least take him to dinner before the offer? £1250 off the list price is a big ask, unless its like a £100k+ car I too would laugh and walk away personally. Had some idiot chase me down when I was selling my older car, I wanted £2500 for it willing to accept low offers for an on the day sale ( ended with £2300) , he offered me £800. Told him, no offence mate but no thanks ( inside I was trying to keep a straight face )
  8. I'd say insurance will be £500 max, but don't quote me on that - this is based on the fact I'm 21 with 1 years NCB and costs around £1300, dropping to near £900 in a few months due to being 22 and 2 years NCB The Bose system is very good, although it does have a few niggles with skipping occasionally with age Any preference on colours? What sort of mileage? Check the "Zeds for sale" section on the forum, there's always a few nice ones in there, and you get peace of mind knowing it's been owned by an enthusiast and well looked after. That sort of money will get you a VERY tidy pre facelift car

    350z prices

Prices have definitely stayed strong. I paid £8700 for my 2007 '56 rev up with 52k on the clock, 1 owner, full history - albeit the paint isn't great with stone chips n scratches but no dents and mechanically sound. Anyways I digress, I have been looking now and then for sheer lols and envy of HR owners, but I can't find anything remotely close to mine, unless it's a forum car. They seemed to have settled and aren't going down in my opinion, cause they're sought after great fun and (relatively) cheap cars

    Rays!

If you need tyres, I got a set coming off my Rays soon, some Falken FK453's - Front probably have a good 4-5mm left, the rears however are on about 2,5-3 ( Not sure on exact amounts, I will double check around half 8 or so ) Just in case you find a set without tyres and want some cheapies to keep you going, though I suggest saving and getting MPSS
  11. My Galaxy S5 pairs with it fine, just never both. Want to call me while I'm driving? Go ahead, I won't answer and I'll call you back when I'm done
  12. I'm going but not in the Zed Going with the other half and my parents hahaha but I will deffo pop round the club stand n steal some ideas for mine
  13. I think I've got my numbers severely wrong here! Maybe I should call it a day - Been awake for 18 hours and the sun is confusing my brain, not used to seeing it
  14. Just for arguments sake, someone on minimum wage of £6.50 will earn roughly same as someone on around £8-8.50 an hour due to taxes. Well not exactly, working 40 hours a week at £6.50 will total £12200 after tax. 40 hours per week at £8.50 will total roughly £15200 after tax Not the hugest of differences but the difference is almost enough for the requirements of the ISA. Looking at it, £6.50 and £7.50 seem to be same ?? am I working things out wrong here?
  15. Not entirely true, but I get what you mean Just for arguments sake, someone on minimum wage of £6.50 will earn roughly same as someone on around £8-8.50 an hour due to taxes. It's great for the kids coming out of school, but annoying for those who got training and extra skills etc and worked up from minimum wage, to essentially still be on the same monthly take home. Saving roughly one weeks wages a month shouldn't be too hard? I mean obviously depends on financial commitments like rent and other stuff :S On a side note, would people rather "invest" in this, or just keep the cash in your account/invest in other markets?
  16. Jesus, thats horrid. I have nightmares of people doing this to me :'( Glad you're okay. On a side note, the little plastic strip that is inside the door sill is called a kick plate, and I've got a spare set Shame you're so far away, cause postage is a nightmare
  17. Don't get hung up on satnav, its pretty crap, as most forum members will tell you just get an aftermarket one. Phones, or tablets, or an actual satnav work best

    24 year old

+1 for this, I'm 21 and use Elephant, only have 1 years NCB, about to reach 2. They charged me £1300 for a 10 month policy, but it counts as a year with them, so I get 2 years NCB soon, bringing my quote down to around £950
  19. can I ask a question? Why not just send the cheaper one to get redone?
  20. When will they make an EV that doesn't look like utter shite? ( ignoring the Tesla ) My main issue are as follows 1) I'd be way to embarrassed to be seen in one - Ugly 2) Admit it was electric/explain why it sounds like a hairdryer 3) Can't stomach the general attitude from the owners ( not looking at you guys on here ) who claim it's economical and eco friendly, yet ignore the battery manufacturing cycles etc 4) **** poor range/time useage for anything over 50 miles it's pretty crap. 5) the "I get nearly 50 mpg" crowd... yeah, and? Any half decent diesel nowadays will beat that - even 3 litre versons from the Germans get high 40's so your argument is irrelevant 6) I don't know how to word it, so I'm going to go with this.... It hurts my "pride" as an enthusiast to settle for a noiseless/emotionless tin can - Some cars make an amazing noise, or are very pretty, or have breathtaking interiors.... the EV cars available seem to tick none of those boxes. #Tryingtopokeabearwithmystick.
  21. Now you get the added bonus of the pikeys n gippo's stealing the copper like they did to us. The exchange is about a mile away n they dug it all up n nicked a bunch of it. Longest 3 days of my life not having internet
  22. That's so JDM! I mean this as a compliment, it suits the car very well I like the blue rings around climate controls etc, looks great Am I right in understanding this is paint? - If so, ballsy commitment, that's paid off well
  23. Check autotrader and you'll find LOADS of high end cars such as Ferrari's/Lambo's etc all like new, barely any miles on it being sold with like 2 owners. Makes you wonder who bothers buying a £150k+ car only to drive it for less than 2k miles a year and then sell it I mean the flip side is they take the deprecation and we get brand new, sub £30k Nismo
  24. I agree, get them dipped in something you like. Extremely hard wearing! I would suggest carbon for the doors, but the center I'm not sure, as personally I think it would be a bit much Also, shaming you for Chris Brown
  25. When can you get it to Ringwood? I'm still interested, just wanted to see it before I hand over the cash
