  1. Private plate starting in MHZ xxxx Car was quite loud. Saw a stubby and tarmac sticker on the side.
  2. ^^the man's not lying! Still trying to dial in my seating position. Had a 3 hour drive last weekend in the new MKII, had to stop halfway and stretch my legs You lot must be weird shapes or just old In my test drive I got in, barely adjusted it, and loved them. So much so I've made my 350 seats almost upright now to mimic the recaros.
  3. The seats in the MK2 are worth it. However the MK1 had better wheels and nicer wing - IMO. Go to your local dealer, and I dare you to not buy one after hooning it - me and my better half got a 2 hour test drive in one - Needless to say, do not buy the red pre owned one from Bournemouth - I drove it hard, and it was more rewarding the more you pushed it. Unlike the Revup 350 I have now, it liked revving ( ironic right? ) Just pulled for days, and smoothly. I never drove the MK1 Nismo unfortunately. Now someone else will come along and tell you properly what the differences are. I just know it was bloody fun and felt rapid.
  4. *Frantically orders 370z Nismo to avoid disappointment*
  5. Wow. so declared most of the mods I could on the crappy form from GoCompare... Insurance rose another £800. Yeah WTF is an understatement. All I've done is paint stuff for the love of god. "Up-rated brakes" should bring it down!? I did get a laugh out of it though... "Performance Badging".... so an M3 badge on a 318i ( don't laugh, there is literally a BMW at the bottom of my road with that )
  6. Thanks, now my search history is even weirder. Tbf a Mercedes CLS is ugly, but nice cause of it!
  7. My car is modified??? Apart from some different paint it's stock :S
  8. Hi guys, my insurance will be up for renewal in about 2 months, so I've started shopping around hahaha Many have quoted me £300 over what I already paid last year, despite having an extra years NCB now ( for a total of 3 ) Can any of you provide me with a quote please? I'm 22 - had the license for around 5 years ( got a new one cause of change of address and now can't tell exactly how long I've had it but yeah ) When this policy expires I'll have 3 years NCB - No claims or convictions, just didn't have a car for the first year, then went as a named driver for the 2nd despite being told I'd get a years NCB, but hey. Thanks guys, let me know what you got
  9. Looks great, finally looks like a complete kit rather than just random bits done here and there. Now we gotta fix whats under the bonnet Thinking maybe triple the capacity... with a V formation...
  10. Also this fits. Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute Just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
  11. It's nice, but its not $250M nice. I mean I can physically see my neighbours, and they can probably hear you talking in the garden. Also, like... what's up with that driveway? Like yeah it's nice and stuff, but did you see him nearly scrape the Huayra's front? I'm sure there are plenty of lower cars than that too! I realise most of that cost comes from having so much real estate in a hard to build area, like the 'hills but I'd rather live elsewhere. Check out Xanadu 2.0 from Bill Gates, or any other super mansions. More class, more style, more comfort and more "affordable" Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing house, just not for me (if I had that kinda cash)
  12. If you check the Facebook page, someones had a bad night His name is Jazz Nasim if that's any help?
  13. To be honest, I am a bit sceptical, other cars seem to go for the $20k range. I mean lets be honest, I don't have £10k spare to throw at a car before it's even converted to UK road standards, let alone needing repairs etc. Just tugging away at those heart strings hahaha Found a good clean shell ( no engine or trans, or even paint ) for $7500 hahaha more in budget, just a tad useless
  14. Well this seems like fate to me... Brother is currently in Cleveland, Ohio (didn't know there was a Texas one) and will be getting married Jan 14th. He's emigrated so we're going there... look what happens to be relatively close by, and damn cheap http://all-kind-ads.com/details.php?id=121671972
  15. I've always loved the old Camaro's - mainly the 67 and 68... but not the 69 - Square wheel arches - yuk! Wanted one before my Zed, figured it would be a fun never ending project, with a similar cost to start with, but decided it wouldn't be practical due to budget reasons. I mean why buy a car for £10k when you still need to repair all the rust, repaint, upgrade EVERYTHING - Tyres wheels brakes engine gearbox just to name a few! Anyways, after watching more videos on youtube, Life on Unleaded did a christmas tree video with a mustang in the UK ( older one LHD ) AAAAAND I want one again. The V8 sound is just sex. The style is so timeless, and it's so special. Has anyone lived with a LHD car in the UK? I don't see parkcades being an issue, I barely use them, so grabbing a ticket out the machine will be fine. - Don't use drivethroughs cause I'm too fussy with ordering in the first place... and they're all too small as it is. ANYWAYS. What you guys think? On the plus side, they are cheaper to insure and tax, as they are classics. However a modded one running 450 BHP with barely anything stock... Maybe not.
  16. "Rockstar lifestyle til I die" well.... woops. People will be sad, I'm more annoyed cause they're gonna spam us with his songs more and more now. Not saying he deserved it though.
  17. I've pulled them as hard as I can, both off the same point parallel to each other, and I can fit one finger tip between the two, quite comfortably. - In certain I couldn't have that small a finger I do however agree that the 2mm shouldnt REALLY matter... but hey. Tbh guys H-Dev found it weird too, as do I, but they've agreed to refund me, so that's all good. Just mark it down as some weird stuff, right next to women - Nobody understands this, or them, but we move on
  18. So then I was supplied the wrong belt? the 6pk1173, as mentioned above, was bought afterwards. Thank god for you wizards, don't know how you can remember all this!
  19. Yeah I spoke to him after and we mentioned pulleys, but I can't remember if mines missing or not - been a long day. I just put two and two together and probably got five The parts however I'm 110% sure, I have them in front of me now as I'm typing.
  20. Hi guys, I got the car back. The parts H Dev supplied were Gates 4pk948 and FAI 6pk1175 - The belt my mechanic used n fit was a Gates 6pk1173, I'm hoping this helps? From what I can gather this must mean I have a pulley delete. Going by the name of the parts ( 1173 and 1175 ) this means the belt is around 2" shorter Can someone tell my why they do pulley deletes, apart from Nissans obviously bad design in the first place - it shouldn't have had one there in the first place!
  21. I thought so too, but my mechanic says they don't fit. Contacted H-Dev in the mean time and they said its most odd, they should fit, maybe the adjusters are seized. I shall check with the mechanic and suggest it when I ask for the belt numbers etc.
  22. Hi guys, I bought some new belts for my 350z Revup, but my mechanic gave me a ring to say that the one belt is too long and won't fit. I bought the DE pack from Horsham developments, so I figured it would be fine?? Unless I actually needed one for an HR, despite not having an HR...? Can someone fill me in please? The mechanic is a trusted one - my brother in law. Just to clarify, this isn't to slander H-dev. I just want to know which belts I MIGHT need to purchase, should these be wrong, and maybe help someone else in the future.
  23. Get a ride in it. Or a test drive if it's for sale Just don't get too attached, they are a bit more expensive than zeds Whats a few zero's between friends?
  24. I'd google it, I made the mistake of ignoring reviews for bad battery life. BIG MISTAKE. Glad they stopped making mine haha. Generally Samsungs seem to be well received, again reviews are key here. But definitely but it new is all I can recommend at this point. Maybe go to your local PC world or Currys and have a play, check prices, CHECK REVIEWS, then go bargain shopping for the ones she/you liked best
  25. My bad, I just remembered him and a 370z in this vid. Might be wrong, but still, epic
