  1. Hi everyone, has anyone fitted an xtreme organic single mass flywheel clutch? I need to renew my clutch and have been told that this is a good performance clutchsetup but have heard stories about smf being really noisey at low revs so am a little worried but as I need this job doing real soon, I'm having to make a decision quite quickly.

Can anyone help me or maybe advise me on other performance clutches?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Don't worry Paul, totally understand with your loss. I'll definitely do it again though. I was the only 350z coupe there so got loads of attention and photos. Thousands of people there looking and sseveral hundred cars!

  3. I was there! But I couldn't see Martin as he was supposed to be organising this and he didn't answer my text so alas. I ended up being placed with the guys and girls from Nissan sportz who were very happy to have me join them! Lovely group of people. Sorry I didn't see you although I did see your car at the end.

  4. Was at the BDC on Saturday with my Zed and could see another GM in the field with deep dish black/chrome rims. It was pouring with rain so decided to wait for a little while to go over to investigate but unfortunately it had left by the time I walked round. So if it was you, Hi, I was in the pit area! B)

  5. Merchandise is on my radar of things to look into.

Historically Martinmac looked after merch, but as many of you know he sadly passed away. The Team will endeavour to get on top of the merchandise side of things over the next few months.

  6. Ready for use lacquer (rattle can) should dry like buggery.

What type of primer did you use?

Really you need to use plastic primer first.

Also using acrylic primers with some paints will cause reactions

    Defo plastic primer a must!

  7. centre%20console.jpgJust a thought, but when I work on plastics like this, I spray light coats and use a hot air gun in between. A hair dryer would do and just wave the heat backwards and forwards and about 30cm away for a minute or so. This should help with the curing process and speed up drying in between coats reducing time from about 10mins to about 4 or 5 thus allowing you to spray more light coats in less time. DON'T ALLOW THE HEAT TO BUILD UP TOO MUCH as you can go too far and blister the paintwork and you'll beback to ssquare one and you'll be stripping back the paint.

    Just an idea.

Good luck and post us a pic when you are done!

  8. Hi, was just wondering if it would be possible to get some forum logo lanyards made up for members car keys? I've looked into the costs and it appears that you can order as few as 20 medium quality lanyards with logo for about £3 each. Just a suggestion

Don't know what other members think?

  9. I second , that, an absolutely top bloke and definitely a true car mad mechanic. I won't use anyone else now.

Here Zippy, do you think he'll give us some discount now we've been really nice about him? B)

  10. Surely, it's only if you have a factory nismo or the nismo conversion in order to be able to put the vehicle badge on. Otherwise you can have Nismo stickers on the vehicle as the name Nismo is just Nissan Motorsport which is like having a Greddy or Mishimoto sticker on if you have parts. IMHO that is. B)
