If it drops to zero you should hear the engine rattling as it's starved of oil. I'd probably be paranoid enough to drop the oil sump and check the pick up isn't clogged up.

Yeah now there is sure, but the website wasn't live back in July when the OP purchased his car Was. I used that site 4 years ago when someone tried to sell me an Astra Est with 75,000 on it. Turned out it was 175,000. And yep, the salesman played innocent.

Vredestein Sessanta gets my vote. There's always a massive price hike between 18" and 19", 100% or more in many cases. That's why I never go with anything higher than 18"

Had experience with Warranty Direct. DMF went on a car I owned for a couple of weeks. Wear & Tear. Pretty much everything can be written off to wear and tear. You're better off putting the premiums in the bank.

I bought an 0844 number four years ago and use that when filling out forms, quotes, purchases, etc. Only a tenner. I earn about £40 a year from it. It's in my interest to keep them on the phone. Even my recorded message sounds like I'm having trouble hearing you, and designed to keep you holding lol. I use the chrome plugin "Mask me" for email addresses.
