1. A huge percentage of people lane hog. I've just driven from Biggleswade to North Wales, and thousands of cars were lane hogging. Even on the M6 toll road which was relatively empty.
2. Sounds like the calm before the storm mate. Sorry if doom mongering...just my experience.
3. Seems so. Post #7 http://www.jukeforums.com/forum/nissan-juke-wheels-tires/118573-show-off-your-aftermarket-wheels-tires-thread.html
4. No. Beavis. How many more times?! I know, I know, the law says otherwise, but I tend to use my principles and my own yard stick of fairness when deciding if I'll pay a private company. I was ticketed for parking a couple of years ago in Mold by UK Parking and they set the fine at £80, then £160. I wrote to them and said they had zero chance of getting a penny for such a ludicrous penaly. I invited them to take me to court and warned them that even if they won, they still wouldn't get a penny, not a chance in hell. They dropped it. The law and justice rarely meet in this country anymore.
5. I wouldn't pay it. There's no way they lost £100 of business by you parking there. Send them a cheque for the time that you did take, equal to the money they would have lost. That's fair. What they're doing is extortion.
6. " Anything over 45% of the speed limit nearly always gets you a ban in the UK, unless you can convince the court otherwise. But no, the police can't ban you, they can only report you.
7. I was with Sky for a few years. Recently switched to Plusnet. 76mb fibre for the same price as Skys 38mb fibre And Plusnet don't seem to censor certain webpages like Sky does. Good service after the initial 2 week line balancing.
8. If you like history, you'll probably really like http://www.dancarlin.com/
9. Sad news, it looked a peach. I think you could still make a few quid off some of the parts.
10. I've never owned a car longer than 3 years, 1 year is the average. I don't think I could do 9 lol
11. Never heard of him. Free bump though
12. The other option is for the UK to live within it's means. Good luck scaling back the socialist state though. Cut benefits by a tenner and people scream murder that they can't survive (afford their Sky Movie subs)
13. Love the RS and yeah, I would chop my Z in for one in a minute lol...sorry. As said, they're a great drive. Bullet proof if serviced regularly. I personally prefer the RS gearbox to the Z. All the ST and RS variants really are cracking cars IMO.
14. I think he works somewhere near our garage. Silver one? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Yeah, that's right Could have been B15 actually.
15. You can fill up an empty Zed for £1.60 in Venezuela. Just saying
16. Old cars become wallet raiders. It's the unavoidable second law of thermodynamics.
17. Absolutely awesome. Must get an S14a. That spoiler would be straight in the bin though. How do they get the wheels to stand out that far (not the camber). New axle?
18.

Buy VW shares. No brainer really.
with an unquantifiable lawsuit hanging over them in the US...
Even better. VW will survive, they're too big to go under, the German Government will see to that.
19. I do that all the time when going for other IT jobs. It's never come back to bite me.
20. You jacked the car up and wiggled the wheel from side to side?
