  1. 100k was high mileage in the 80's. Now it's average. I had a Pug 406 with 235k and it ran sweeeeeet. We've got a 2015 Focus in work on 45k, and it's a bag of nails.

    Exhaust Gum?

Yeah no problem. Not sure how much a Y-Pipe weighs. I'll pick it up on Saturday for you and package it. Sen me PM's though, I tend to lose track of threads.
  3. Probably my son in a rental. He'll race anything in anything. And he's still baffled why the ST I sold him was 100% reliable for me for 3 years, now needs constant repairs. Kids
  4. Wait..wut? Beat them how?
  5. I get this, but I'm not sure if people are doing it to race, or to get a closer look to see what it is (badge). They're pretty rare cars really. I don't race anyway, I hate the adrenalin rush

    Exhaust Gum?

As above. Very temporary. I've found that stuff hit and miss when I used it on old bangers when I was younger. The stuff can fall out or get blown out pretty easily. I put my foot down in the Z on entering a slip road to the motorway and it blew the pipe right out of the welded mating flange where the centre pipe meets the back box. Must be quite a bit of pressure in there when you put your foot down All good now with a new Cobra. You can have my old Y-Pipe if you want, FOC. Located near Chester Zoo at my sons house, I don't think he's scrapped it yet. It should last another year at least.
  7. I thought you had to disconnect the Yaw sensor to do burnouts, wheelspins and the like. Turning VDC off doesn't really help much. http://my350z.com/fo...ecu-tuning.html Lots of talk about this kind of thing on my350z.com. I don't do burnouts and stuff, but it is worth a read.
  8. Same. Driving around Wales. Gorgeous day until I came across a Fez ST and M5 trying to kill each other. Bellends.
  9. Looks peachy. Get a Cobra exhaust. Just fitted one on my Roadster, it's even more addictive to drive, especially with the roof down.
  10. What colour's your car? GM? Silver. Think it would look smart with that colour roof
  11. Waze is far better than Tom Tom and Garmin. But they don't have a dedicated unit for it yet.
  12. That's cool. Can Zbrush export to 3D Max or Lightwave?
  13. Worth a read. I had an agreed policy on my Series Land Rover with Lancaster Ins. Worth it for the piece of mind. http://www.gocompare...value-policies/
  14. And pop around and make you a sandwich while he fits it for you to?
  15. Hard to say without hearing the noises, or at least describing them. Knocking noise after a drive and the engine is off? Odd. You sure it's not pinking...cooling down?
  16. Looks smart. I want to replace my roof for a burgundy/maroon one.
  17. Says a lot really. If Nissan spent untold amount of money developing the 350Z, then it stands to reason that bolting stuff onto it can only be detrimental to the performance....unless you have access to a sophisticated wind tunnel to know what the hell you're doing. So to answer the OPs question, do wings/spoilers work? Yes, probably, but almost 100% not favourably without a sophisticated set up.
  18. Post you favourite pics, personal or found on the net. This is my current favourite. HD Wallpaper here...
  19. Is it a mod or factory fitted? Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk Factory. I press this and it suddenly sounds awesome
  20. I like the fact I have a button that, when pressed, makes the exhaust and engine sound come alive. It's awesome. I'm surprised more people didn't have this fitted when they bought their Zeds.
  21. I hate silver...I drive a silver roadster. Too good to walk away from
  22. Check for difficulty changing gears. Clicking rear axle, usual red flag stuff you'd check for on any car really. If the car is pretty mint, and the alloys not kerbed, I'd take that as a cherished car. No guarantees though of course. Is quite a bit over priced though. You can get a very nice HR for that.
  23. Get the police to have their dog go over it
