  1. Consider getting a dash cam in future. It really is a trump card when someone ruins your day like this.
  2. FYI - received my boot divider in great condition - I'll be installing it in my new Zed once it's out of its SVA - so will post up some vanity pics once I have the keys :-)

    New knob needed

I had a good look at all the shift knobs prior to spending my cash - this particular one I plumped for, although I didn't get it from Torqen http://www.torqen.uk/350z/body-styling/gear-knobs/1922-350z-nismo-leather-shift-knob-32865-rn003.html
  4. Drop in a Nismo built VQ38HR from a GT300 Z33. I know a man selling one with only 70km run-in who's recently paid to become a trader on here.

    New knob needed

The eBay ones from Japan will be genuine - anywhere else not costing £50+ will be a fake - not that it matters given it's function. I had to order a lot of my nismo extras from the states or Japan. If you don't mind fakes or cheaper imitations, take a look at AliExpress online. The worlds biggest emporium of counterfeit shite.

    atomic teal 350z

That is the worst sounding name for such a nice colour I have ever envisaged. I had an image of a 17th century chamber pot with a tacky blue inset. Sweet colour of Zed, anyway.

    Traction

My zed used to do this all the time prior to fitting new wheels, suspension & tyres. The rear and front tyres (Cheap federal ones) had accidentally been switched round and I'm pretty sure they hadn't been aligned professionally either. Since Meister R, MPSS & alignment I have to seriously give it welly on roundabouts to get the arse out. So yeah - what everyone else has said!
  8. About 2 years ago I'd have said that! The extra Gubbins I've ended up doing on top of my "real" job means I'm doing most of the onshore part as well. Gone are the days when all I did was proving the meters & changing out the orifice plates :-(
  9. Lots of variety in looking back at this thread - only noticed one member say they worked in oil & gas but know for a fact a few do. I myself work as a fiscal & allocation measurement specialist - 15 years offshore in total with stints in Norway, Africa & the middle east before getting a cushy 2/3 rota 40 mins out of Aberdeen. In short, if it involves intercompany transfer or taxation of oil, gas or waste water \ combusted hydrocarbons, I have a fair degree of involvement with it.
  10. Thought so, mine was missing one too when I bought the 03. An OEM JDM coinbox was not cheap to find!
  11. Let me fix that link for you. http://www.outcastgarage.com/products/rare-jdm-vq35de-harness-cover-g35-coupe-sedan-350z?variant=1048259359 Never ever seen this but know a man in japan who might. I'll ask him when he wakes up.
  12. Is that console missing a coin box?
  13. If it was a 458 Italia I'd be in agreement.
  14. Voted previously as my Z had a custom wrap (below) My new Zed is Pearl White but I only get one vote? :-(
  15. Easy. Lexus LFA & Mercedes SLR if money were no object. Out of what you offered, 997 turbo & the Gallardo.
  16. Don't mate. Lambo doors on anything except a lambo attract derision and contempt. I personally wouldn't give you grief for it but you'll have to grow a thick skin if you fancied it!
  17. Had my 03 track wrapped last year and DVLA treated me like an Alien for asking. Was told it was non permenant and only had to inform insurance. If new directives apply then fair enough - surprised those muppets have gotten their act together so soon.

    n1 front lip

Power Bulge. HR engine vs DE I believe.
  19. For the 380RS you can grab one off eBay or Aliexpress. Missus could only find silver haha
  20. Got the same from the OH. She's always been one for appropriate irony!

    MERRY XMAS

Merry Xmas everyone. 2016 promises to provide some awesome developments in the UK zed world - all the best to you & yours! G
  22. Great news Has. Hope this is the end of it for you now :-) G
  23. Mileage isn't that big a deal if the car has been looked after. I.e. decent service intervals per year or or recommenced mileage, run on super & not regular. Nissan designed the VQ series engines to last up to & beyond 200,000 miles and we've recently seen examples of that up for sale. As always, do your own research - ensure you're happy with the history & mileage before parting ways with your cash.
  24. As per my first post, I'm with you on gettingsatisfaction first before anything else. Always helps to have a stick handy when the carrot doesn't work.
  25. Welcome aboard Rick - you'll make friends soon enough - plenty folks here want to see what GT300 parts do for NA tuning :-)
