  1. Thanks everyone for the interest, these are now sold
  2. They are still here but I'm expecting the buyer to collect this weekend, I'll post up if it falls through
  3. Deposit taken, will confirm sale when they've left the building but for now these are as good as sold.
  4. Greg, I haven't received a PM from you, I'll send you one now. I had these on a 350GT (G35) so I can't comment on the strut brace but I had them adjusted and then removed the knob, just slides out after undoing a 14mm nut holding it on, this was with an Alutec brace though, which mounts onto the strut threads, not dedicated mount points for a brace.
  5. You need longer springs not lowering ones if it's scrubbing with heavy passengers haha..! I thought they were spot on, once set up properly they handle well and are comfortable. My gt is on 20" wheels with 30 profile tyres and the ride wasn't harsh at all. Totally adjustable in every way so you can fairly easily set pre-load and adjust damping to suit. Good bits of kit.
  6. Yeah they are separate still. Adjusters for height are in front of the springs in the photo.
  7. I can chuck c-spanners in as I have spares, and yeah manuals can be found online.
  8. 350z BC BR type coilovers for sale. No knocks, bangs, squeaks or leaks, all threads and locking collars free to move as always copper greased. The only thing that lets them down is the paint has come off the springs and there is surface rust, otherwise good physical condition. I'm not sure on spring rates as the coating has come off and they're usually printed on them, they're whatever come as standard though. Spent the afternoon cleaning them up ready for the new owner. I will confirm rough mileage later as I think I still have the receipt, but it's not a lot anyway. £400 ono plus courier, or collection from Cornwall.
  9. Some photos I got at your stand today...

8 hours Monday, 14 hours Tuesday. Spent Wednesday half asleep and jittery, but the air lift kit is all done.

Thanks, they can look awful, seen a couple recently that have been crashed through the rip speed aisle at halfords and it would put me off buying one if I saw one like that ha.. I did a bit more bay work, vinyl wrapped the rear covers and headlight inner sides to body colour, attempted to polish the front cover but it's tough with it in situ. Loom tucks next I think! And I made a false floor for the air kit to mount onto, 5mm plywood bonded onto some 10mm foam tile, to reduce vibration and damp out compressor noise, covered in grey carpet fabric and finished with a few stainless bolts. It's basic but it's going to be under the boot liner anyway.
  13. I was in the same boat as you not so long ago, not quite as bad but I didn't want to fork out loads getting them refurbed again so I removed the faces as I didn't want to remove the tyres, re-using the bolts is ok they're not one use only stretch bolts just be sure to clean the threads up and use thread sealant. I sorted the dishes out going through stages of wet and dry from 1200 up to 6000 grit, then autosol on a cloth wheel in a drill, then mothers mag and alloy on the meg's cone on the drill, then meg's next gen polysh on a lint free cloth by hand, then buffed by hand with microfibres. They were protected with gtechniq c5 then about 6 coats of wax on top for extra protection before putting the faces back in. It took a few days from start to finish but the satisfaction of having done it myself was good. Here's before and after.
