  1. My friend (based in Church Crookham) does it on the side and I think charges around £300 for prewash, wash, clay, correction, wax and sealant. You'd have to check with him about exact details, e.g. if it's a 1/2 stage correction etc... but I know he's meticulous and takes a lot of pride in what he does. Let me know if you want me to send over his contact details so you can ask questions etc...
  2. Thanks for the offer. Prob still can't, but PM'ed anyway for more info.
  3. Damn the FX and my (lack of) bank balance... Possibly in the near future...
  4. I think this is what leebottrill is talking about? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55900-how-to-door-glass-wind-noise-fix/page__hl__window
  5. Was checking out your Photobucket and saw this photo:
  6. Damn it... If I had more funds I'd be interested but just bought a house... GLWS though
  7. We be poor Martin Plus personally I enjoy DIY anyway
  8. I've been looking into fiddling with my headlights recently as well actually. This post might help in terms of placement of the LED if you're going for a single LED set up. I only glanced over it before, but the thread in general may be useful: http://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/399820-03-05-headlight-mod-9.html#post7973773 Also I haven't read this in full and it's on a 06 headlight as well, but there maybe some useful info on this thread: http://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-exterior-and-lighting-diy/545974-06-headlight-mods-the-thread-of-all-threads-many-pix.html Been practicing making halos as well. Bought the stuff prior to realising they're quite cheap to buy online. My first attempt (dimmer & messier) and second attempt below. As I say, just practice so it's messy wiring / haven't measured to size / no reflective backing etc... etc...
  9. It really is low down on my list of things to do, but in terms of legality, wasn't it legal as long as you can only see the glow (i.e. can't see the light source itself) and it's not a certain colour? Or am I wrong? On a different note, was following a car the other day who had installed blue LEDs (?) in his rear lights, which was flashing intermittently. Looked poop and highly illegal.
  10. I have no taste and would consider under car neons/LEDs for a bit of fun. Would definitely install a switch though as I wouldn't want it on all the time.
  11. Hmmm good point. Might put some on on top of the tape. Rather be safe than sorry!
  12. I consider it a bit of a "toy", but it's definitely a fun one!
  13. Haha, yeah S-10 is pretty sensitive. I'm liking it a lot. Still haven't had a proper "spirited" drive with it, but I've started using it in S-1 for daily driving as I find it more suited to me than normal.
  14. +1 My tip is once it's installed, don't fiddle with it unless unavoidable. I tried to unclip it to show my friend (after it's been installed for a few months), and the clip snapped off. It seems pretty brittle. The camera is now held in via a roll of cellotape wedged where the clip was
  15. Lol, love it. Do you know what the caption for the Nissan ad says?
  16. Did a quick search and found these. Possibly helpful, especially the 2nd link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31362-headlining-removal/#entry914760 http://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-exterior-and-lighting-diy/461674-how-to-remove-your-headliner.html Good luck
  17. Ah right, that's one of the locations I considered too
