My mistake, probably should have made it a bit clearer, it's to be a rear trunk lip spoiler that attaches to the oem boot lip.

So after much consideration and a few words with my new paint shop I have decided to make a custom lip spoiler. The idea is for it to be a direct fit on top of the oem with either bond or rivets. Never done one before in all honesty and I know it's gonna be hard, but I'm pretty good with my hands. Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone else on here has ever made a custom spoiler at all that can offer any advice or techniques that would help. I have made a cardboard template that fits directly on top of the oem lip spoiler and have got a rough idea of the end shape and style. This is still in the very early stages and this is the first prototype template but the main question I have, is when I make a more refined template fit to size, how do I go from that to a fibreglass version of it? Do I need to use clay? Can I wrap the template in tin foil and fibreglass on top of the cardboard? Should I use another material for the refined template to fibreglass on top of? Ive searched the interweb and have some ideas of what to do but still would like some more help if possible. To give you an idea of what it looks like, so far. 😉

Had this same problem but mine was a constant misfire due to a faulty fuel injector. Had the injector replaced as well as a coil pack and all new plugs and she was sorted. I bought a full set of coils so have some spare ones if you're in need. PM us.

Was it fitting the connector upside down as per the guides? There is a small white plastic piece inside the clip that seemed to be melted stuck to another bit of plastic. Had to take the connector apart, heated a sharp blade and cut the bit that was causing the problem off. Then followed the guide to fit it and hey presto I managed to get it on. I clipped the connectors on the right way round though but did have to use the cable ties as there wasn't a tight connection. Not had much time to test it out as it's been snowing but had a wee shot on eco 7 and sp4 and sp10.all I could say was wow, what a difference from such a little box.

Stupid bloody p0300 code. It's like going to the doctor and saying, "I got a pain somewhere but don't know where.

***Update*** took the car to Infinity who quoted me for an hour labour saying that's how long it will take to diagnose the issue. 4hours later still no resolve so took the car off em and paid for an hour only. Took the car to Cammy, at auto works and it looks like the culprit is a fuel injector which is soaking the sparks in fuel. So just waiting on a replacement si we can make sure that is all it is.
