  1. Argh the wait is killing me. I'm about to put another 2.5k on it (total was just under 10k for all the bits) so total paid to date will be 3600 to 4000 off the total. So only 6k to go. Well on course for mid spring unveiling and 650+ bhp, 380mm big brake kit, coilovers, all sorts! And a respray in that Ford Polaris grey. Going for a set of Rota grid drifts instead of the work vsxx as they look a little less bling and not too "hella flush yo".
  2. We got our move dat. December the 11th. Been a pain. With this off the road time ive been thinking about visual appearance. I'm thinking a respray in Ford Polaris Grey. A much darker deeper shade of grey than the one it has at the moment. Work VSXX wheels. 19x9.5 19x10.5 Mines front lip. Tarmac sports side diffusers (bodycolour) Chargespeed rear number with the side slots filled and smoothed.
  3. A person who can bench press with 60kg dumbells is a very strong person. Glad you said that! Was thinking wtf, that's like bench pressing me! Even when I used to do serious weights at the gym I think I never got past 27kg lol That's definitely 60kg in total, not each dumbell! I'm not the Hulk's bastard child.... I used to do the 60s for 4 sets of 8. Wouldn't be able to now.
  4. Anyone been watching I'm a celebrity get me out of here? Spencer from Made In Chelsea was on it very briefly then removes for "Addiction to anabolic steroids".
  5. Where did you buy the Alcantara wrap? Thanks in advance.
  6. 19 x 10 R 19 x 9 F Polished lip. Some kind of gunmetal grey for the spokes. Slightly lighter shade than the car. I'll get them custom sprayed. Not got the wheels yet. Nearer to launch time! Good choice, personally would get 9.5 & 10.5 for the tyre sizes good luck In your search, not going to be cheap The wheels won't be cheap? No but they're very nice. And I meant to say 10.5/9.5 They'll be the ones with a step lip.
  7. Go for it if there's nothing holding you back!

  9. Since my Z died I've not been on much really. Miss the forum. I will have soon paid 4k off the 10k parts list of upgrades for the Z so it's all going very well and I'll easily be back in the Z by spring - sporting 600bhp, coilovers, 8 pot big brake kit, and much more such as respray in dark gunmetal grey and Work VSXX.
  10. I've had chippy every day for the past 5 weeks Also not been to the gym in that time either. Xmas is coming - it's not gonna get any better Flibbety flobbety

  12. Yep. Absolutely. I got into 80s synth through 'The Guest' soundtrack. Which is also worth a YouTube. I particularly like Rollermobster by Carpenter Brut and Night Train by Mitch Murder. But they're all good.
  13. I've been getting into 'New Retro'. Basically 80s style synth music with no lyrics. The kind of stuff that would be backing for 80s movies. Some groups; Mitch Murder Kavinsky Laserhawk Carpenter Brut Gost Scattle Mega Drive Miami Nights 1984 Power Glove There's lots out there.
  14. A years MOT too and the tyres are branded, not smartprice! 127k miles. How's the new house Gaz? We're moving soon.
  15. Pretty much everyone I knew growing up drove like loons when they got their licence in cars that shouldn't be doing that speed in areas that speed shouldn't be done. Fortunately they (and I) are still alive. We look back and shake our heads at it. It will always happen until cars drive themselves. I like to think my friends and I have grown into sensible well rounded individuals. Maybe these two lads would have too given a couple of decades. That said I don't remember any of my friends drug or drink driving and I certainly never have.
  16. Scrapped the Yaris. Picked up a MK3 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 130BHP Got to say - I love it lol. Comfy. Quiet. Not a single thing wrong with it. Went to Manchester and back twice (100 miles total) and the fuel gauge needle didn't budge! Loads of room. Huge boot space. Fairly swift. Full service history. 4 decent tyres. £600.
  17. I began doing this automatically after a few sentences lol.
  18. Milnrow road just crossing the junction at Queens way 8:45 ish. Some kinda spoiler on back.
  19. People panic when they know their other half is cooking a spawn. They sell everything up and buy a people carrier. My shooter is getting the ammo feed cut.
  20. When I drove an HR it liked to rev more than the DE and seemed a bit more peppy.
  21. Yeah sorted it all out. Another job done right.
