Anyone scared that, when women are given a big chunk of power, they might weild it with a heavy hand in order to prove something? Make their stamp.

That is mental. Especially with the paracetamol in it. Jeez. Highly irresponsible. Those things make me feel lousy. I've been prescribed oxycontin in the past but that was like nuclear bomb power. Horrible things that turned me into the walking dead. Tramadol are like above cocodemol but below that stuff. Apparently they're told to treat all patients as smack heads that are only asking for pain meds because they want to get high A.F. If that were the case with me I'd definitely be asking for the oxycontin. Pain is such a multi headed beast. Pain = no sleep = stress = anxiety yet they'll throw no end of sleeping pills, NSAID's, topical gels, anti depressants, propranolol etc at you.

I called it and I was right. GP prescribed me Oruvail gel 2 weeks ago which has done zero for pain. Doc just saw me and said "OK...well try that plus paracetamol then" I was in there about 45 seconds. Looks like the black market it is.

New to the sports car world and the Z
TT350 replied to D1vereux's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
I think you made the right choice. The S2000 is a very raw beast and in my eyes has a hairdressers image but the F20C is a fantastic engine. BMW is even more of a yuppy/hairdressers car. The Z is beautiful, quick, comfy and relatively rare sight on the road. S2000's are too mind. Welcome. -
I'm sat in A+E and was seen by the nurse that takes notes before you go in and I began to say "they used to prescribe me Tramadol. ..." and she just cut me off and said "not gonna happen" It's because it's been rescheduled a class C and although they can, they won't prescribe it through fear patients may become dependant. People were suing the NHS because of their addiction. I'm guessing they'll just go "Ibuprofen and paracetamol x times a day refer you to physio" I've paid for my own sports physio which was thorough and expensive and I've seen NHS physio twice before. Sorry to hear of your experience above. That sounds absolutely horrendous!

Currently sat in A+E due to migraines and unreal knee pain that I've had for years that has flare ups. They used to prescribe me Tramadol and I'd take it as and when it was unbareable. For ages now I've just been sent from pilar to post with gels and potions and physio and gels and diclofenac, strong Ibuprofen, paracetamol, aspirin. ANYTHING bar the only thing that works. Apparently it's been reclassified and GP's and Doctors are scared sh1tless to prescribe ANYTHING that has potential for addiction. Which p1sses me off to no end. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Some rare photographs from history (Pt 3).

I'd have favoured a Thompson over the BAR's. Much more ammo, especially with the drum magazine and with .45 stopping power. George Lucas. Funny how fashion goes round in cycles. His retro clothes wouldn't look out of place today. Or the beard. Went up one of the World Trade Centre towers in 1990. The lift really sucked you to the floor. Hyperspeed. -

Perhaps but there'll be no discount. It's not even out of the crate. The only benefit you'd get is not having to wait 10 or so weeks for building.

Apparently they've gone up 80% in value over a few months. Very nice 'Liner.

you know me. Sadly I think I'm going to call time on the TT Zed after the bottom end went. Events in my life have dictated that I have to, really. So. The car is currently off the road but I Have bought a fully forged bottom end for it so if you buy it, you'll be responsible for the fitment of that, then the car is good to go. It's an 04 registered VQ35DE GT Spec. It features a Power Enterprise twin turbo kit. Specs are: Complete kit parts list: 1. PE 1420 Turbo Twin w/ adjustable waste gate actuator 2. Ductile Cast Iron Exhaust manifolds (L&R) 3. Exhaust Outlet pipes 4. Oil Line Kit 5. 1L over sized aluminum oil pan with cooling fins & buffles 6. Front mount Intercooler 7. Intercooler piping kit 8. Twin “Air Impulse†Air intake system 9. 6 of 380cc Injectors 10. 245L per hour fuel pump 11. Fuel pressure regulator 12. Silicon hose kit 13. Fastener kit 14. Gasket set Turbo's are claimed by the manufacturer to make 600+ bhp. Other modifactions are: Scorpion Y pipe back exhaust Motordyne plenum spacer 20f and 15r wheel spacers 4 good tyres. Michelin Pilot Super sport on the rear Uprated Exedy clutch and single mass flywheel Car at stock boost made 431bhp and 360ib/ft torque. Interior is in fantastic condition. No tears or cracks in the leather. Everything works. It has the original Bose Stereo and a Pioneer App Radio 2 which is currently installed. Mileage is circa 110k (dead battery as it's been sat prevents me checking) There's a dent in the offside wing and a small one on the bonnet where the previous owner aLlowes her garage doors to close on it. So to total, say 4250 for base car Bottom end was 4200 Turbo kit and install was nearly 8k Exhaust? Will accept 9k for the lot as an incomplete project. Any takers? Edit: for a 1500 deposit I can supply the car with bottom end fitted. So will be running. A local performance garage can carry out the installation. Yout will however have to then take it to a dyno to make sure everything is running just fine. But then obviously the price will increase by 1500 as I can't really absorb the installation price or I may as well keep the car lol. It's just to take the hassle off you finding and arranging some where to fit it. Will add pics of interior soon. Just need to have a clean as I haven't been in it for a while.

Next summer. I'll just keep my head down until then. Save moneys and come may/June I'll be back with 650hp, new paint etc.
-
Very nice. The exact body mods I want and also on a grey Z. A chargespeed rear is what I'd go for. Thanks for uploading.

Yep. And even more ££££ lol.

Might be interested pal if you do decide to start selling bits. Sent on the move, excuse any typos No bits. Just as a whole if I do.

Bearings let go. Knock knock. Who's there? Bankruptcy.

I got 5x claybars off ebay for a tenner. Every bit as good as they meguiars. Much bigger too. I don't use detailing spray either. I use a spray bottle with a very weak car shampoo mixture for lube. Got this tip off a few forums after searching an alternative to mentally priced detailing sprays. Brought my sh1tty focus up a treat.

No. Or own my own garage with Mr Arizona working there when hes not working at Harrys. Tuning companies are glacial in their response time and always booked up 3/4 months in advance. Also, may sell the car as is with fully built bottom end supplied but unfitted. Will need circa 3000 quid spending on it to get it fitted then you're back on the road albeit with only 430bhp.
