Well - I'm eating more. I've wasted away to 13.5st from 19 in early August. Muscles have been devoured by my metabolism. I've got a gameplan with regards to gym and diet and will start off on Wednesday. Monday and tuesday I'm in uni all day until 7pm and the gym closes at 9pm.

My twin turbo Z was up for sale a while ago. No one wanted it and I was only asking 6k! Keeping it now though. Can't wait to feel the boost again.

4-5k? That could only be labour. Not a chance of that being turbo kit AND labour let alone kit/forged engine/uprated clutch/labour. Here's a breakdown of what I paid. Used power Enterprise twin turbo kit £3500 New would have been roughly £7000 which is about par for the course for a truly complete kit. Labour of fitting the kit £3200 Clutch £450 Uprated bottom end £4200 Fitting of bottom end will be £1000 to £1500 Increase in insurance +£500 Decent tyres to handle the power £600 Dyno tuning...and so on and so on.

The best supporting mod for turbo is deep pockets!

Yeah. If your wallet isn't deep or you cant find a bargain such as I did (decent comprehensive 2nd hand kit) then turbo z is expensive. You have to weigh it up. Can you get a car as visually appealing as the Z with easily upgradeable power IE already turbo? If something else does fit that description then better to go for that in terms of power.

My Focus ST is really fun over tight moorland lanes, b roads etc. The chassis is very capable and while 170bhp isn't a lot on an open flat motorway it's adequate for fun on b roads.

My turbo install including forged engine will have cost me 12k with a SECOND HAND turbo kit. So new can add 5k to that. So not much change outta 20k.

I turbo'd mine and the engine gave up at 430bhp and 360ib/ft. From what i read stresses are different between super and turbocharging. Your heading made me smile.... Maserati 3200....tawk ta me!

Luckily i live close to Scan. The showroom/shop floor is snazzy. And the owner loves his Skylines/GTRs
