Completely irrelevant but good info should I find myself with too much money and a desire to give it away to a pressure free organization lol.

A while ago I made a one off donation to Unicef for the children of Syria after seeing an advert on tv. Unfortunately, I wish I hadn't. Since then I've recieved upwards of 10 calls a day from them hounding me for more money. Laying guilt trips on me like "Don't you have a conscience? What if it was your children?" I've told them not to call me. There's an option when you call them to stop recieving phonecalls. But they persist. If i don't answer they call multiple times in a row. I know it's Unicef calling as I have a caller information app. Anyone else had problems with these guys?

I was always in competition with my friend who was very well off. His father was a doctor and my friend was an only child. So it was hard keeping up with how expensive things were back then. My dad had a good job too, contracted to work in power stations all over the middle east and even the Caribbean. My first P60 was 1800 quid! With no printer, no scanner, no modem (had the option to have one though for a few £100. I don't think any game ran very well on it. It came with Fallout 1. That had extreme load times and really slowed down sometimes. I bought Need For Speed 2 for it. And that was extreme. Long load times and juddering graphics. Also it came with Descent. And that was great on it. Terminator Future Shock ran ok on it too and that was an awesome game. First 3D graphics un a shoot em up u think. The computer I had before that was awesome. I had an Amiga A600 with hundreds of copied games. Cannon Fodder., Alien Breed, Chaos Engine. Can't believe I swapped it all for an Atari Jaguar just to play Alien Vs Predator. Before any of those though, I inherited a Sega Megadrive and before that a Commodore 64. I so wanted to make a woman using my C64 like in Weird Science

This has a sort of an emotional connection for me in the way of what I was doing and where I was. Was watching the sun come up over the Sierra Nevada mountains as I drove through the night to get to the grand canyon with the mountains in the far distance and desert to each side of me and ahead of me just a straight black road going straight to the horizon. The track seemed perfect at the time.

I like that front. I'd like that for the front, tarmac sportz side difussers and chargespeed rear bumper.

OMG I'm currently on very low calaries as broke my toe and bad soulder so little I can do. I want that meal right now, although probably not the Baileys version. I have managed to lose 5lb over 2 weeks though. Killer though on 1k calories per day. 1000 a day?! How the hell are you sticking to that? Your body will think it's in famine and turn your metabolism right down. Are you not constantly in a bad mood?!

My p350 (may have been 300) had something I've never seen since owning it. 2 seperate 3dfx cards. It had a 16mb and an 8mb card. Odd. I replaced both for a 64mb Voodoo 2 that cost 600 quid!! I can't remember what PC I upgraded to after that. I think it was one I built myself using an AMD mobo and cpu. I upgraded that as I went along. Then I bought a pre built one from Overclockers. That was a great PC. It was premium at the time about 7 years ago now. Core i7 920. 16gb ram. Can't remember the gfx card. But over the years all I ever needed to be able to play new games was replace the gfx card twice.

@ Aashenfox That's a really cool story! My first PC was a Packard Bell with a Pentium 60 CPU with 8mb RAM in 1995. I remember playing original command and conquer on it. And how if I built too many units it really slowed down. My mate had a P75 and those 15mhz really really made a difference. Like night and day. I'm sure these days CPU's can have that and more as a margin IE two identical processsors could differ by 15mhz or a lot more and still be rated the same. Just 3 years later I had a Pentium 3 @ 350mhz.

Not strange really. He's presuming it's a fast car with a big engine and therefore coming to the conclusion that it uses a lot of fuel. Don't know why you've stated its fuel economy is no different to any other car. So a 350Z has the same fuel consumption as a 1.5 DCi Renault Clio? :-)

Thats another benefit of Weight Watchers MRP shakes. They taste great. If using unflavoured whey you can also just add Nesquick.

I'm finding this too. Most of my classes give no time for lunch. I'm mostly in 11:30-1:30/2 as a second session. Come 1pm I'm starving. I think I just need to get back into the habit of making a packed lunch or my peanut butter "flapjacks" and having a munch during lectures. Yeah. Me too. I'm going to give the gym a serious effort this time round. Food prep on Sunday night for the whole week. Bulk cooking. Will save money too. I worked out I can get 6 meals a day for a 5er. 3 of those are meal replacement shakes. Tip: Slimfast. All slimfast is, is a low calorie high protein meal replacement shake. Equal to or better than your supplements like MyProtein etc. Slimfast is 5er a tin at Boots. I can't remember the exact figures but buying slimfast worked out cheaper than other MRP shakes. @gmballistic; Yeah I've really gone skinny. My shoulders and arms and chest are so flat. But muscle memory and plenty of good clean food will sort that out sharpish.

Lol I remember my mum wouldn't let my dad upgrade the tv until it literally died. We had a 21" tube tv encased in wood and brushed steel with 6 whole buttons including vol up and down. No remote. Still remember the clunk the buttons made when turning over. We had this until 2001.

Samsung. Top TV's. I've had mine for 7 years now and it's still great. The ex and I got a 3D Samsung last year when together and that was great.
