And the 1995 Vengeance Of The Blood Angels
-
This should be in the "what game..." thread but I don't want it to get swallowed up in the posts as that thread can soon cover 5 pages just with two people having one line conversations about footie manager lol. Looking forward to getting this. A fan of all things Warhammer 40,000 and more specifically, Space Marine. Been a fan since Games Workshop was a little grubby shop in the corner of your local precinct, way before it became Americanised and fully commercial. Bit soul destroying to see teenagers on American forums talk about Warhammer 40k in the manner that only an American teen can. Plenty of Dude! and Bro! fuelled conversations after one too many Mountain Dew's or Gatorade whereas once it was "Chaps" and "Sire" over cups of tea. Anyway. I've played the table top version of Space Hulk, the early 90's PC games. Vengeance Of The Blood Angels was great. Here's the new one.....

Hi. Perhaps at the end of next summer I may start thinking about a different car. A C6 Corvette to be exact. I know by then my Z will be significantly quicker than a Corvette but I may potentially be bored of speed. I love the way the C6 looks and its huge V8 which sounds amazing with a straight pipe and when you throw in big cams then you get a lovely gurgling uneven idle. What will be the + and - to owning one ovepr the other? I don't know much about the C6. Thanks guys.

So it's basically just life but in the wilderness. As in, any crimes comitted will still see punishment. So contestants will be just as scared to break the law on the gameshow as they are in day to day life. Clever marketing though. "Anything can happen. Rape, murder.....oh but you'll still be punished" People are thinking The Purge or Hunger Games. The reality will be Naturewatch.

Wow. For a fake trailer that was pretty polished! But yeah. Gutted.

Yes! I've always thought the z looks so much better with sidesteps and a Mines style front lip. I know you don't have a mines front lip though.

I know Tron Legacy probably wont have been too popular with the majority on here, born before the original Tron of the 80s. I don't know if it's the combination of elements that made the first time I watched Tron Legacy sort of trippy. Probably links to my thread about motivational music. I loved the soundtrack to Tron Legacy and it seemed to permeate seamlessly every single scene. Like the bit where he enters the arena and the action starts in slow motion and the music is a bit juxtaposed to it. But the music itself is very calm and focused. Also it was just after my mum died, like the very first days after and maybe "The Grid" was subconsciously like the next plane of existence. And watching it on Blu Ray and through surround sound. Aaaaaannnd.....being very high on Bob Marley cigarettes at the time on a strain that was very calming and made you feel at one with the couch. But yes. I still like to watch it now, 5 years later, sober as a judge. And then I see this on Youtube today... http://youtu.be/SZ5u-tDoTaw

When I was working I'd take at least a couple of 5+ minute and a few 1 minute toilet breaks per day... You can't eat and drink as much as me and not have to go... Would also be refilling my water bottle every hour or so. You'll never be working ar Minky then mate lol. Don't you feel bad?!

Speaking of TD.... Does anyone recognise the lead male character? He was in Slingblade with Billy Bob Thornton. Awesome film. -

Lol I bought the soundtrack to F+F2 while I was on a roadtrip in America. There's a few I liked from 1 and 2. -
Not the same really but for one reason or another I have done production work since leaving school because it's just a case of walking into those jobs. They've always been deeply unfulfilling just by the nature of the work and the fact that the other people who work there can offer no stimulating conversation and it's so sad to see a guy who has worked there for 15 years and his entire life is work, pub and football. And middle management in those places have monstrously arrogant personalities because they're given sh1t from the top and they possess virtually no power. Very unhappy people who like to make the people below them suffer. Anyway... I got fired from my last one working at a company called Minky. You'll see their ironing boards in ASDA. Having worked at Minky previously I used to operate and maintain all the machines there but I left to look after my mum who was ill. 6 months ago I was there again working on a production line. Horrendous. Mostly women so there was lots of venom in the atmosphere. At Minky you only get one 20 minute break a day. In which time you have to wash your hands, walk to the canteen at the far end of the factory, cook/eat your food and get back. You're not allowed a drink with you despite it being 40c in there in summer and the air very dry and full of metallic vapours. One day I'd been to the toilet 3 times and one of the women reported me and another woman fired me on the spot. And that was it. The final straw. Enough is enough. I'm now in University doing a BSc in technology and construction. The feeling that I've broken away and will NEVER be in another warehouse or production role again. With student finance and a weekend job I earn MORE than I would in a 40hr/wk warehouse job! Plus free council tax if you're a full time student. If you can leave your job take the opportunity to better yourself and/or improve your prospects. Don't go back to the same stuff like I did. All the best mate.

yea im sure i have seen 4wd cars launch at pod and spin the front wheels as the weight shifts to the rear axle lifting the nose The 1995 GSX had AWD. The one in F&F was a GS-T. FWD with 190hp as standard. -

Was a FWD. You can see just the front wheels spinning in the first race and the massive torque steer he gets from it. I remember at the time reading a breakdown of all the cars. The RX7 was 330hp. -

No way a front wheel drive Mitsubishi Eclipse rocking 250hp was a 10 second car. "You know you owe me a 10 second car, right?" "Wot u on m8 I never had one in't first place. Muppet" -
 First sensible post you have made on this forum: Wheres my "like" then?! You got it: Thankyou

I could relate to FF1 back in 2001. The modding scene was very active and magazines like Max Power were in their prime and even though we only saw a Supra or Skyline in GT1 l for the most part, the odd occasion you saw one on the streets was a very noteworthy event. I don't think the modding scene will ever be the same again. Kids can get a turbo Corsa on finance. Not a C20LET Nova in sight! FF1 was relatable even if it was at the very high end of the scale. God I miss the days you'd see a knackered Nova with neons. -
Even faries are b1tches. Is there no hope.

Means I don't have to watch that dross in the cinema now, I know the story already Although, I do wonder what story of a skyscraper they'll manage to get that submarine into... I'm going to say 30! It'll fly like a paraglider Tied to the back of a Dodge Charger with dental floss and they'll swing it around city blocks destroying EVERYTHING and no one will mind. -
Big power Z are unattainable for most of us. I'm lucky in that TDI North informed me that Abbey MS had a kit sat on a shelf they pulled off another Z. The thing with the Z is there's nothing else that looks and sounds as nice and is as comfortable for the money.
-
I will have sunk 14k into my 350 (and that's with a 2nd hand turbo kit) and with the forged bottom end, 18k. So 14k and I've got a Z I can't drive :-) I'm not saying don't do it. As you'll love it when it's done. Just consider the cost.

Quite a torquey set up with the turbo? 360ib/ft so not mega.
-
I can only speak for myself and in the case of turbocharged, but my DE went "pop" at 430fwhp. So maybe 370 at the wheels. Roll the dice.
