I wonder what 2017 will bring. This year seams to have been utter chaos, globally. I want to have a year just taking stock of things and just quietly rebuilding and bettering myself. Be nice to get to meets this coming spring and summer and meet a few (or a lot) of you guys. Lookingforward to summer. I'd like to get some holidays sorted, especially to America and do a roadtrip. Perhaps a few of us on here can go. Rent a winnebago. Will put feelers out for that nearer the time. Might meet a new lady next year and I might not. I'll be ok spending time without a significant other for a year or so. So I have everyone has a fantastic 2017 and that we live long and in prosper.

F'ing Halfords. Fully prepped the guitar for colour. Did all the coats of primer. Wet sanded when dry. Got it feeling like glass. Dry. Everything.... The Holts tin of paint is f'ed. It should come out as a mist, as I'm sure you know...but the paint is coming out in a very narrow 'laser beam'. Obviously you can't build up the layers like that as it's just so concentrated and runs. Should be a fog or mist. I've now got to strip it back and start again when it's dry and I used a full tin of primer. Grr.

Gotta wet and dry it later. It's going to be Imperial Blue.

Wow. That Maverick is beautiful! I almost bought an Ibanez RG550 the other day. They were made in the early 90s and quite rare. I got outbid. Buckethead inspired me to learn. His playing sounds more accessible to the average person than the likes of Satch and Vai. There's a lot of tallent out there. I love spending time on Youtube finding new stuff. Tosin Abasi is really good. Travis Montgomery. Keith Merrow. Loads of stuff out there. I remember stumbling on "New Millenium Cyanide Christ" by Meshuggah lol. I have played on and off for years. Not had one now for maybe 7 or 8 years. I bought a brand new Ibanez on Gumtree the other week. £90. It's only a Gio Ibanez (like smartprice value guitar) but I've got a set of EMG pickups. EMG 81 And 85 and a wiring set. Will keep on the lookout for a wizard 2 neck. Currently painting the body in my cellar. Will buy a different pickguard because the leopard skin one it has is disgusting! I had an Ibanez last time too. An RGR321EX. That came with EMG pickups in early models like the one I had. Later on they replaced the EMG's with IBZ pickups.

Was it definitely the valeters and not the mechanics? When i had a Renault Clio I took it to have some work to pass its MOT. The garage was down an awful sh1tty lane. Where you pull in off the main road theres quite a ledge and one of the mechs must have approached the ledge at some speed and bottomed out going up it. My front bumper was split and hanging off where the bumper meets the front wing. They denied all. It'd just been replaced too!

I've gotten down to a 32" waist now. The only problem being my metabolism has cannibalised my muscle. My shoulders have really narrowed and my arms are just straight. No triceps very little biceps. I have no appetite though. I may have to get a few 24 packs of Nourishment just so I can down them a few times a day. I may take a course of Anavar for 12 weeks while I get back into lifting. I'm going to be kitten weak! Also I found a well established Taekwondo club that rubs adult classes every day. I thought I may try that. I hope you're all doing well my fellow iron worshippers. Summer IS on the way. And I need a vacation.
