I had a civic with a duff battery. Was a nightmare. It'd lose charge while I was at work then I'd be stranded there. New battery sorted it as you've now found out.

I've read a lot of stuff like that but then a lot of other stuff countering it. Especially on YouTube, the method seems to just be remove the BOV and a whoooole range of cars from mundane diesel work horses to 1200hp supra make the sound. I don't see why it wouldn't make that sound. What would be the reason one car would make it then the other car wouldn't?

Think positive mate. In fact when your Zed is unleashed onto our streets I reckon you should change your username to....... LAMBOKILLER I really do want to get it back on the road. But Spatt who's a member on here has had his Z in there for weeks now!! Hogging it.

I definitely think I could buy and modify a 350z to kill a lamborghini with half the 80 grand lamborghini price of entry. But yeh, economical is definitely a subjective term. It is. I have a friend who blows 50 quid a day on prepared "gym" meals and he was amazed at what a bargain it was!!

You're all living in the wrong area lol. I bought my house 7 years ago for £37,750 It was bare inside. I've done a lot of work to it and it's worth 65k now. Also, look what you can get for 450k round here...... http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-64163552.html http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-60676772.html http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-43672659.html http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-45678867.html And for the price of a one bedroom shoebox flat in London... http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-45815154.html

Hey up thee! I've decided that I want to remove my HKS blow off valve. And not replace it with anything. I love the old Audio Quattro S1 E2 turbo flutter sound and I've always wanted that sound for myself. I just thought it was down to what car you had. As some make that sound and others don't. Particularly, Supers. I see a lot of them on YouTube making turbo flutter. So I've found out how to get it and it's simply remove the BOV. I see conflicting opinions on damage it causes to the turbo's. And it's 50/50. I'll try it for a while, though. My HKS BOV doesn't make a very special sound at all. It's barely audible. Skip to 1:55

VBH was a car journalist about 89 years ago and not even a pretty one :-) Where's this economical lambing slayer? Mine has cost a fortune and I doubt it'd slay a Lambo All said in a friendly tone. Internet kills dry humour.

I tell you what did make me laugh yesterday though.... 02 online chat guy. He suggested I send the phone in for repair which was "completely free of charge, theres just a £25 fee and a postage fee" I could just hear it so vividly in my mind, the internet service providings guy from Fonejacker!!! "No fee its completely free theres just a one off payment of 215 pounds then 11 monthly payments off 168 pounds then a final fee of 480 pounds then we downgrade your upgrade and you get new phone upgrade with no charge just a small payment of 11 pounds then 48 monthly payments of 665 pounds and a cancellation fee where we cancel your contract and you send the phone back and we give you free ring ding for just a pound so it's completely free" 5:50 lol

PS, karma got the first punch in. Yesterday my laptop broke (google issue again, oddly) my delonghi dragon gave up the ghost, my bank card stopped working and Natwest could't figure out why so are sending me another one which takes 5 days and my tv developed a green vertical line top to bottom slap bang in the middle.

Hello. Title speaks for itself, well, it speaks for me...being a moron yesterday. Sorry to all who read it and had to bare witness to just what turd tornado I can be. I don't want to make any enemies on here or for people to have a low opinion of me. Friends are thin on the ground and this forum is a very welcoming place and I'm pleased to have made a few friendships here. So if you could all forgive me for my rantings yesterday I'd be grateful and humbled. Thanks guys. Feel free to give me both barrels first, too.

Please remember to treat the Team here with respect, no matter how frustrated you are at your current phone problems. I will treat anyone with respect who isn't implying I'm a racist idiot swinging metaphorical fists around or dragging my knuckles along the floor.

No reply yet but google searches indicate it's not their issue either. So thus far it's no ones fault and no one can fix it.

Pipe down Stu. I'm obviously a lot more diplomatic and mild mannered in store. But when I meet a brick wall post sale (I've been to 02, Samsung store and Carphone warehouse) I'm going to be a bit miffed. And don't try to imply that I'm a racist or a nationalist, as I have plenty of friends amongst other nationalities and have dated Indian, Turkish and Hungarian girls. So shut up. I'm stropping AFTER having been to all ports of call and been given no options.
-
Bellends. While selling me the phone "ohhh yeah if anything goes wrong, bring it back, we'll sort it there and then and if not then the samsung store is next door" Reality: "ooohhhhh we can't touch that mate. Google problem innit. Speak to dem blud an ders a skratch on it yeh, warranty void"
-
Then I wouldn't have made it at all. Be a trip to Bury general due to heart failure! Anyway, off to Syria (Rochdale) as there's a branch of Carphone warehouse there unless it's become a bookies, pound shop or charity shop or Polski sklep.

Try getting to Manchester and back to my house in less than 3 hours!! Aint. No. Way. Lol
-
So do I. But mine is simply awful. At least the Z will be back up and running if bloody Spatt can hurry up and get his out of there!!! So far with the focus... 8 cv joints/boots 6 wheel bearings 8 tyres 20L of oil 2 track rod ends Also it returned 21mpg yesterday on a 70mph constant in 6th driving to birmingham and back. Heated seats dont work Rear window wiper doesnt work to name but a few
-
Wrong. I'm just already aware of those options, I'm just exploring options that wont A) mean I have to drive my god awful focus and B ) mean I have to traipse around Manchester.

Unfortunately, no. It's a post theft security protocol.

Online chat... Mumbai probably lol Currently talking to Abibi who's much more helpful than the last person. The last guy said, after I told him I coulndt access the device to delete the samsung account said "sure, i understand, now, to delete the account go to setting, my device...etc"
-
Keeps saying it was the wrong pin. Not a chance it was wrong, its a significant number to me. Got past it now with a reset but now im having problems with google account login. It keeps asking me to sign in with an account linked to the device "this device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced to this device" So I do.... With correct info.... And it just goes back to that request after processing it And I'm talking to a very frustrating person on online chat who is quite obviously from a non English speaking country.
-
As per the title.... My phone just stuttered for a minute then got really hot and turned off, now the 4 digit pin doesnt work. It's a Samsung Galaxy A5-6 What gives?!

Absolute nightmare of a journey. Set off at 8 and just got home now at 2:30am. Sat nav kept sending me up and down the same stretch of motorway. Then it turned itself off. Then it kept going "I'm sorry...if you said something, I didn't quite catch it" in response to its OWN voice while it was giving me directions. Got aaaaaalmost home. Junction 21A to Leeds F*&$ING closed. Hour diversion. Then to put icing on the cake it was torrential rain the whole way. All these plus the fact I absolutely loathe the Focus so 7 hours in it wasn't fun. Also....was empty when i filled to the brim. 46 litres. Empty again after a 220 mile trip mostly at 50mph in 6th. 21.7mpg. Still was nice to meet Adrian briefly. Bed.
