  1. Yeah I wouldn't skimp on the HDD either. Sorry Dan! An annoyance of mine is loud components. I tend to spend a lot on quiet cooling. A diesel powered pc isn't fun.
  2. Z feeling bk. That new on the menu at Burger King? Sounds nice.
  3. I have a friend. She's female. She wants to lose weight and look like x celebrity or have certain body parts of celebrity x and y. So. I tell her exactly how to get x body factoring in her experience, free time, and so on. But then she can't go because she doesn't currently look like the girl she wants to look like or have bum like whoever. And can't go days x, y and Z because she'll have to wash her hair afterwards and those aren't the days she can wash it. Wow. poor girl! I've seen/heard this kinda stuff often. Poor girls. Us guys are lucky to be able just go and stink after! And then we also don't mind "looking like arnie" after a few sessions in the free weights area. I've discovered a new refreshing workout drink. Well, made one anyway. Empty bottle. Jiff lemon juice Water Stick it in the freezer. Really quenching. I like drinking water that's just turning a bit icy. I'm trying to get at least an hour of fasted cardio in every morning. 5/7 days I manage to make it. I'm sort of struggling with the point of having or striving to have a good figure when I'm losing my hair. It's a very new development and rapidly onset. I feel like it'll just negate everything else. I've completely shaved it though. Trimmers then wet shave. Been looking at FUE treatment. Maybe it's due to having been rejected from last relationship. Anyway I'll carry on regardless!
  4. I enjoy building them myself. From paring things perfectly with the motherboard, RAM and so on so all the parts are 100% harmonious, to custom cooling solutions. Lol my last build I modified the side panel with a 300mm fan from something else and bought a hydroponic 6" extraction fan for the back and the whole thing sat inside a custom cabinet with the ducting coming out of the back and a 300mm inlet on the side. Worked well and at low RPM was very quiet. I remember trying to work out what the optimum fan speed was for each of them to flow and extract air the most efficiently. But in my old age sometimes I just want to plug and play.
  5. Going to splash out on a new rig in May from Scan. Looking forward to it. I have an xb1 and I just can't get into it like I do with a desktop PC.

And the F1 with its normal lungs got to 391kmh on part worns I remember the top gear race between the f1 and veyron. The f1 botty bashed it for a distance. That and the Ferrari F50 I'd sell my soul to own. If I had one.
  8. 'appy birfday. Bj. Massage. Bacon butty. Day doing what you want. Watching what you want I hope. All the best.

I've always wondered why modern vehicles don't have high top speeds, relative to their 90s counterparts and their lesser horsepower. 241mph From McLaren F1 627bhp 215mph for Jaguar XJ220 542bhp 213mph Bugatti EB110 560bhp
  10. What if we threw a hip hop soundtrack over NFS 1 and 2 and included lots of "yo, yo, yo whaddup blud!!" and Ja Rule too.
  11. I bet not many people remember these or have even seen them. They're from when NFS wasn't all hip hop and neons. A good watch. I had them both back on my P60 Packard Bell. They needed a 90mhz to run ideally.
  12. Faster cars due to increased width and better aerodynamics and up to 400bhp. Should be good! Anyone following? Group B really needs a comeback though with the kind of safety equipment that's available these days it wouldn't be quite so risky.
  13. You need to upgrade to a McLaren. May cost you a weeks wage though. Maybe.
  14. Only 20k.... also LOVE my money pit! Why no more YouTube videos though Why aren't you running 1000bhp yet?! Lol
  15. Lol,I put mine in too. 1 previous owner, full service history, 98k miles.
  16. Wendy it's just how the system works. The mother has all the rights. Same with unemployment. An unemployed single mum will get a house provided, money in the bank, no council tax to pay and so on. I remember when I was unemployed 6 years ago. All I was entitled to was 70 a week jobseekers allowance. I had to find my mortgage money, council tax (you only get council tax help after so many months) food, gas, electricity, everything. It's backwards. They won't help with a mortgage but they WILL pay more for a council house and that automatically entitles you to free council tax. I cancelled it so that I didn't have to go back to the hideous place that is the job centre and be spoken to like a cretin. I got a job swiftly anyway. Anyway, yeah...a single mum is entitled to everything. They look at it like, well you can't take children from the mother, but it's fine to take them from the father, so then they think "well the kids need a safe place to live. She gets the house" My friend worked hard to get his house, renovated it, and his ex didn't lift a finger or pay a penny towards it. Now he lives in a tiny council flat.
  17. Plasterers can't open bank accounts?? Sure. But my friend is a bit dozy when it comes to things like that. He just didn't see the point in putting it in the bank only to draw it out again, I guess.
  18. This sound exactly like on of my old friends. But not quite to the same extent. He's a nice, mild mannered and friendly guy. When he meets a woman (and he always goes for the same type) he falls for them in a matter of weeks. He's like a puppy sat there at the girls heel wagging his tail waiting for the girl to look down and acknowledge him. And the kind of woman he goes for always treats him badly. But he laps it up and tries harder and harder. But the more he tries the more they treat him badly. Also, he can't stand being alone. He NEEDS someone there next to him no matter how they treat him. So 4 kids, 4 mothers and he's going to have more with his current 21 year old girlfriend. Don't envision a beautiful young lady. Or even a clean and healthy looking one. She's stick thin, wears dirty, baggy hoodies with her hands inside the sleeves, unwashed, unbrushed straggly hair, tracksuit bottoms. That's the type he goes for. He likes "skinny, rough and ready types" His ex was the same but with a pink mohawk. She divorced him, took the house and the kids they had together and his car. Which was on finance and had to carry on paying for the house and car. Unbeknown to him, she'd been saving lots of money at the job she said was voluntary unpaid work. In the years after, he paid child support to her, cash in hand because he's a plasterer. So she phoned CSA and told them he hadn't paid her a penny in 3 years. And he'll do it all again.
  19. Modifying cars has always been about more than the cost. It's just enjoyable and seems more fun than going and picking something off the shelf ready made. I've got close to 20k in mine. Also, you can do things in stages with modifications. I couldn't have dropped 20k into my Z in one go. Then there's the individuality that comes with it. I barely see any Z's and if I do I can guarantee it's not forced induction and more specifically, turbo.
