How long until all religion is banned?
-
I just typed out a very large post about the events in Manchester last night when suddenly the forum changed from mobile to desktop. It's done that a couple of times now when writing a lengthy post. Anyway... I was at the scene last night, more or less. I'd just passed the arena heading away from the city and heard it. I'd barely gotten past the junction just outside the arena and I had the windows down and sunroof open because it was a really nice warm night and I love the smell of the air on summer nights. If it had happened a couple of years ago I could very well have been on foot as me and the ex always walked past the arena to go to her apartment on Mirabel street if we'd have been out at the Odeon in the Printworks or we'd been out for a meal. Just goes to show, it can happen to any of us at any time. Thoughts are with the victims and their families. This Google maps screenshot shows how close I was. I was just on the main street (yellow roads on the maps screenshot) and crossed the junction and on Bury new Road. Mirabel street highlighted too.

I've confirmed that my postcode isn't the issue as I tried my friends postcode who lives in an upmarket, quiet village, semi rural WA16 Was pretty much the same price as my OL13 postcode. WA16 is an A category OL13 is an E category The difference was less than £100 13 years NCB. 35 years old. No points EVER. No convictions. Sky. No quote. Flux. No quote. Comparison site 13600 quid my postcode. 13550 my friends. -
This thread made me think of the film My Cousin Vinny where he's in court talking about the tyre marks left behind.

The Autoglym is great. Smells awesome too. Like new leather. I've discovered something lately too... Surgical spirit cleans leather really well and it has oils in it too..I spilled some on a leather stool and wiped it off and the part that I wiped up, the leather came up like new and felt softer. Only thing is the smell. But if you use leather conditioner after the smell should go away. Ok...hit me with the flaming!!

TT 350Z approaching the price of a GTR? Can you get a GTR for 25k? -
Wow, I've not read a post on a forum I agree with more than this. Exactly my feelings and thoughts on modern society. So much misery comes from the conflict of ideals and interests within oneself that we're lead to believe we should aspire to at all costs because we have the right. I really wish society wasn't so fractured and each of us so isolated. Which we are, really. I went back on Facebook for a while, recently, and for one reason or another I was reminded how families are or can be like a hostile clan and downright savage, if only verbally, to people or other families that even in a minor way infringe on the other families and without hesitation they'll tear that person or family to shreds when they know nothing about them! The point is, they both have exactly the same goals and outlooks, but they feel they have such a right to put themselves above and beyond anything or anyone else because they're special. Snowflake syndrome. Sorry...back to politics. I think Bob Deniro should be PM. You hear me? Uh? Look at me. You hear me? Bobby Deniro. Bob. PM. Whaddi say to you uh? Where's my tax? You mother fu...I swearta christ, I'll kill ya, where's my tax?

I can understand the 350Z being a high risk "dangerous" car in America. Kids. Literally- kids, can get behind the wheel of one as soon as they have a licence and go hooning in what for a first car is a far too powerful, heavy and RWD. They're a cheap import that their dad probably thinks is a cute little crackerbox toy with a little tiny v6. -
I would like to be a big guy again. But maybe as we head into winter I'll go for some size. I'd like to be back to this kinda mass... I'd put some size on at the end of last summer but broke up with gf and lost it all.

You don't have to diet. Just eat more. Get an estimate of how many you need then increase by 500-750 calories a day. No need to go crazy. I never use whey or supplements. Just not needed if you can eat the extra 750. Pretty easy to do. Just one more meal. A good example is a plain quarter pounder. Job done. Quick and easy. 500 calories right there. Ask to lose the cheese and Ask for an extra patty. 50g protein total. About 800 calories. ASDA sell rustlers burger pattys without the bun. Taste great. Can make your own 1/2ib burger that way for a nice boost in Cals and protein.

I'm good shape. Vascular. Do you want to get bigger?

@Coleslaw I don't want to disagree with Strudel but, I have to say that, for me, slow controlled movements are the way, especially training such an easily damaged part of your body. Lowering slowly and under tension is no danger for your lower back. Gives it more time under load which might add up to 40% of the benefit. If you're in a deadlift head to head competition I can understand why cranking out as many reps as possible would be beneficial and necessary. And also....just don't be that guy clanking the weights down lol. Form is much better in the video.

Worth noting AF only discounts up to a maximum of 9 years NCB. Any additional no claims are of no consequence. -

I haven't been asked by AF or Sky of my experience. Both have outright refused to quote me. I give my details, hear a few stabs of a keyboard and... "Nah can't offer you a quote on that bud" -
Wheel bearings would make a knocking sound. Mine had the dreaded front end knock, and that's what it was. Wheel bearing. Lol I just remembered it has a knock on the other side now, too.

I've never had a spotter. I go with the theory that if I can't lift it on my own then there's no point trying. Just build up my strength until I can, with progressive overload. I use dumbells mostly so getting trapped under a bar is an incident I can avoid. Happened to me once, getting stuck under a barbel In an empty gym. One of the (hot) girls that worked there eventually came down and saved me.
