  1. Ok Wasso. Will message him. Thanks.
  2. Why not PM Tim above, they worked some serous magic to insure a custom build transplanted V8. A lot of hoops had to be jumped through, paperwork, referrals etc. Not only that, but they wouldn't insure me unless they were confident the work was done to a specific standard. They have never failed to insure me, with specifics such as merging a modified and un-modified policy into a multi car policy. It might take a few days, but leave them to work something out for you. It's was prestige that quoted me. They said they'd only returned one underwriter that would touch me but not cover the mods on like for like.

  4. Ahh man. I hit 1790 Cals yesterday. 192g protein, 90.68g carbs, 71.15g fat. Breakfast was 6 bacon medallions and one Mission tortilla wrap. Lunch was a packet of instant noodles and 200g chicken breast. Piri Piri seasoning. Dinner was 220g sirloin. 100g new potatoes. Broccoli. Snacks were 1 scoop of whey and 2 Wickinger hot dogs. (198g weighed) Today was 2 slices of toastie toast. 3 slices of lean bacon. 100g chicken and 1 tortilla wrap. 1x Tesco eat smart chicken salad sandwich and a scoop of whey. Dinner will be sirloin and potatoes again. Will add up the nutrition of it later and decide if hot dawgs are in.
  5. I know the feeling mate as I'm in the middle of forging mine myself, the price of the timing chains and pumps etc really start to build up (I knew I was going to replace them before I started but still alot of money none the less). I think that's the best idea to get it running right first. I've been without getting a shot in my z for 7/8 months now and it's killing me! Can't wait to get it back out and banging off the limiter all day again lol Try the thick end of 2 years :( I wish I was Snjur. "Engine blew up today so I had a brand new fully forged rated to 3000hp hand built over night in Japan and in the car within 48hr and I installed some 1500hp each gold plated turbo's cos what the hell" lol.
  6. No! I'll be increasing the boost at a later date Clutch is rated to 800ib/ft Engine to 700hp Turbo's to 600+ Injectors to 600hp All the staples are there. Just need bloody insurance. Computer says no.
  7. Neither at the moment. Just uprev. It's fine for the stock boost levels. Stock intercooler piping will be fine. No, not removing the BOV now. I'm being bled financially so, I've had to resort to just getting it on the road and make sure it's solid and reliable at 450hp and not shoot for the moon. It may all be for the best as, if I can't legally drive the car, I'll have to sell it.
  8. It's just frustrating Coldel. I've been a careful driver for nearly 20 years with no reward, yet I seem to be a very isolated case. As you say, freak. 35, full NCB, no convictions, no points, no claims. Ever.
  9. Tried Prestige. Just under 1k but wouldn't insure mods.
  10. I guess increasingly they're going to have to resort to this. As new technology creates things like a Mustang with a 4 pot under the bonnet and E-Cars. I'm a quiet guy. I'm not loud. I don't play loud music. I don't shout. I fart quietly. I want my car to be the one thing that can express all of those things for me. I turn the key and it barks into life and settles to a low rumble which rises in cadence as the restrained muscular power gently purrs me up to speed. A crackle and slightly annoyed bark on downchange. As I accelerate a bit harder a faint whoosh can be heard as two full fat old school turbochargers supply the hungry engine with the invigorating oxygen it needs to catalyse the bombardment of caged explosions within its heart, which beats for me. It is my pulse. On my command, it gives me all of its power. It holds nothing back. It's past growling. It's past screaming. It's simply rage now. Rage is powering this cybernetic amalgamation of man and machine towards the horizon. Leaving behind the exhaled and discarded gasses I can faintly hear the emotion were expressing. No. Now I can hear my invisible barrier that struggles against us. The sound of its defeat is the deafening roar of external wastegates. Like a snarling bull or zealous soldier completing his war task through snarling gritted teeth. All on a private road tho m8.

  12. 30c Roiders DNP Clen = angry young men.
  13. Back to using my old pall "fatsecret" macro app. Aiming for 1800cal a day. 40/40/20
  14. Just waiting for clutch to arrive now.....
  15. Open each door, throw a large black bin liner over the top of the roof so that it drapes over each side and close each door trapping the excess lengths of bin liner inside. If you make sure the whole roof is covered the cat won't want to sleep on the bin liner.
  16. I had this problem and it turned out to be a Coil pack. Took it to dealer first who diagnosed it as lambda sensor fault if I remember rightly. Whatever it was, they also wanted £1k.
  17. Err hold on a minute! I still might turn into a wreck because I see my ex knocking about, climbing out of a 458 Italia with someone who looks like Connor Murphy (youtube) wearing a bespoke and perfectly tailored lounge suit that he had made for him while they were on his private yacht that he keeps in the Caribbean. meanwhile I rock up in a diesel Clio sporting a bald spot and Primani clobber. I'll need support guys!! Lol.
  18. Just occurred to me lol, pray you don't go from TT to 350Z to 350ZTT.
  19. Good cause and happy to help. Cancer has slain my entire family and has even tried to take me. We're quite far behind in terms of treatment here in the UK but the charities make all the difference. Very sorry to hear about your loss.
  20. Slashing it down here, too.
  21. We seem to go through sudden surges of new guys and gals sometimes. Welcome.
