what do you do when you're not playing with your Z's
TT350 replied to andybp's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Never had to diet in my life luckily but in a way that makes it harder as I have to bulk up & increase my food intake. Not easy for a picky eater. Done my bulking up phase now though so I'm just weight training at the mo ~ increasing my weight load every two weeks. Never really going to get to your size as I'm not built that way but just getting a bit more ripped is the goal. I'd love to be ripped. Almost got there once when I was well and truly into it but I just love food too much. Progressive overload is the best way to grow. -

WAS looking good. Lol. Thanks. Diet is the hardest part for me. My default mode is fat bstard. Stick at it! Its great when you get the bug and results start coming in. Love that - I seem to have gone there as well - to many visitors with Doughnuts Krispy Kreme is LETHAL. Damn. I can eat 12 no problem. Especially the custard ones! -

If you want something cheaper (3k ish) how about an EP3 Civic Type R. You'll love it's grab it by the scruff of the neck and thrash it nature. It'll satisfy you immensely. And that K20 Vtec sound. I had a B18 Civic and I loved it. Not trying to put you off a 350Z. It's just you mentioned budget. You wouldn't regret spending 3k on a Type R. You'd probably not lose much on it come sell up time either.

It comes fully balanced and assembled by cosworth technicians so basically plug and play (I use the term loosely) so no need for too much down time or machining. I know but the question is why pay so much for a short block when you can buy the parts and have a good shop assemble and balance and blueprint the whole thing for you? The extra money save can be put to good use elsewhere IMHO. But its you dosh so do what you must just my 2p It's just a case of convenience and limiting opportunity for **** ups should the machine shop not quite be used to such a thing. When a company falls short on experience and bite of more than they can chew they soon lose patience. That costs more in the long run. Appreciate any input. For and against.

I'm sure I posted this in the forced induction section lol. Indeed low compression. I'm not sure I want anywhere near 1000bhp. My turbo's are only good for circa 600bhp and I really can't be assed changing them. I did google the question but very few people are running either of them. Anything cosworth related brings up Ford shizzle. I'm leaning towards cosworth because it all comes built. BC would need machining balancing etc.

I'm not sure which to go for. Anyone on here any information for and against each? Thankee
