I did more crazy stuff in my 60hp Clio than my Z lol. With that kind of power, well lack of, overtaking had to be a meticulously planned event well in advance and once in overtaking mode you were committed. Lol. 15 seconds to overtake one care lol. Ohhhh those were the days. 99.....99......99......100!!!!! WOOOOOOO!

Some good going that. Yeah the weight will shift to the front. Rear might have lifted briefly but then how we're you leaving skid marks if their wasn't really enough weight over the rears to keep enough contact with the road to take rubber off your tyres. Especially with water between the tyres and asphalt. Did you get out and check for the skidmarks? Just curious.

And this is why I won't do heavy lifting and get seriously into bodybuilding ( although i would love to ) I try and keep balanced with it all . I try to just be healthy , eat well and be happy with the little progress I make . Bodybuilding is a cruel sport , you never get to where you want to be , very critical of others and yourself and can become very self centred . .....then you stop working out for 1 month and lose all your gains from a year . This is my view of it and not to offend anyone . I would rather be fit and heathy with a half decent physic rather than obsessed with the gym/ supplements only to never be happy anyway . Years ago the training was completely different. Back then you would stuff ya face over the winter months putting a couple of stone on and lift big n heavy every session and hold alot of water (those who know, would know what I mean here), then about March time you would train lighter, train faster, still heavy but higher reps and more sets, this way on a cutting cycle with loads of cardio and lean eating and lower cals. Nowadays its all about looking good with a sub 10% BF all year round and cardio and eating clean is a must. If anyone needs advice your welcome to pm me as I've been there done it for a long time now. lol Training always evolves over the decades. From the golden era in the 70s with Schwareznegger, Nubret, Mentzer etc. Now you have the freaks of today like Markus Ruhl. Hideous. I think the guys who want to stay 10% all year round are the Geordie Shore and Ex on the beach types who need to look good in da club at the weekend wiv da fake breitling and plunge V neck bright white tee. Lol. I guess the bloat can be helped these days with ancillary meds and short ester compounds and low sodium intake

Have to disagree with this. I picked my Zed up a few weeks ago and when driving back on a straight dual carriageway at the appropriate speed, in rain, in 6th gear and with traction turned on, I slowed to about 55 due to a car ahead. When he moved over I gently accelerated back up the cruise speed and fish tailed left and right 3 or 4 times before I got it straight. Completely took me by surprise. It wasn't provoked at all but I suspect either greasy roads or possibly a fuel spillage perhaps? Either way, while I caught it, it could easily have spun and caused an accident. No clutch dumping was required to get it spinning Wonder what that's all about. I've never had my Z fishtail without provoking it. And certainly not with TC on. Even in the wet. And that's with forced induction too. I can get it right out of shape if I want to and slide all day long but I dint see how it's loss of traction can be so unexpected if you're not giving it the beans. Or like you say, oil on road etc.

I know my Type R is supposed to be a "fast car" but compared to my old Zed it's so sedate I feel like it's a 1 litre. Been watching my MPG and everything. Don't worry, I'm not becoming civilised lol. I found when I had my VTI that it egged me on to rev and thrash it, so you're doing well to fight that urge lol. But then at the time it was the most powerful car I'd owned at 170 bhp so I'd probably do the same as you now even if I had a type R, having already owned a TZed. You feel like it's a 1 litre?
