  1. I guess I am lucky my fuel costs are enough using the zed daily for about 8 months of the year but I only have to travel a mile to and from work each day, so fuel is not really an issue for me. I just need a car for those other 4 months of the year or if I need to have more than 2 people in a car. I also need a car I can use to park somewhere and not worry about it too much, I would never park the zed up roadside over night and be able to sleep at night
  2. There are some on Ebay for £99.99+postage http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2c7c8a7bdc
  3. Just got to pay the £75 excess so no extra cost, just hope there are no hitches when they finally get round to fixing it. I wonder how much further the crack will travel in the meantime?
  4. Nissan Leaf you say, I do hope you mean as a 2nd car. I was looking at replacing my Suzuki but was looking at a Mazda6, should be good for a winter car while the zed is off the road. Damn windscreen cracked on way back from Norwich on the 1st hole in the road after it got chipped by flying stone. Got to wait for replacement now as Autoglass say its different from a uk one and need to order it in, I'm sure its not but they insist on getting the right one
  5. I think me and you are the only two awake, everyone must burnt out after the summer
  6. See you there, I suppose we better start a list. 1. TimC 2. Jimmy
  7. I really would not worry about car being less than perfect, I think we all have cars which need a little bit of attention. Mine needs various panels respraying if not all and I actually found a little rust, only a little but still very disturbing. I do my best to cover most of it up with various product when I clean it. I t may be good if we can see what attention your car needs as we may be able to help you more with advice. I am seriously thinking of getting a proper detail done on mine next year ready for the better weather when she comes out of hibernation.
  8. Well it looks like weather is going to be very wet tonight so I think that will deter people from wanting to come out so lets put meet off till next week, 20th September 7.30pm usual place. Post if you still want to come down.
  9. Should we put back the meet for a week and have it on tin the evening on the 20th instead of the 13th? Not seen much activity from anyone recently, Jimmy will be back then so we would maximise the numbers on people attending.. Hopefully we can get another good meet that way
  10. So who's up for next meet on 13th September? We could do something a bit different if everybody wants, I am off work so could do a day meet with a bit of a trip somewhere or just the usual in the usual place.
  11. Try this one first http://www.350z-uk.c...age__hl__keyfob there is another way which involves taking the key out but I think that is just for imported cars. My keyfob has never worked since I had car, tried all ways but never got it to work.
  12. Yea it has a bit, August is a month were most people are busy with life in general or work as in my case There are a couple of relearn procedures for the keyfob, I will find them up for you. Make sure the new battery is not a dud first, it does happen sometimes.
  13. Don't forget to add your name to the list if you want to go to Coltishall Car Fest next sunday so we get the right number of places for stand.
  14. lol yes park near the entrance to the car park away from any trolly parks, miles from the store entrance as my wife says but also where noone else parks, usually no other car for 20-30 yards
  15. I never saw you, she must have a sharper eye than both of us for spotting 350's
  16. Should have this one sorted for next meet If you have not found it already there is a thread here for the Coltishall show http://www.350z-uk.c...ishall-norfolk/
  17. I really hope I get 23rd off I reckon it will be a great show, keeping my fingers crossed for it. Hopefully Rob (Mudman) will have some news soon. I think a convoy there is a strong possibility
  18. I think next time we need to face out of the road and take a photo like this, would look really good.
  19. Yea it was a good night, i have managed to not start buying lots of bits for my car but may not be able to hold back for much longer. It can all start with a simple hose kit and who knows where it will end Welcome to the forum Rob, it was good to meet you and see your car last night It will be good to see any pics you may have, still waiting for this video though
  20. It was a great little meet last night, good to see some new faces and hopefully we will have a good turn up for the next meet as well. We had 6 cars at one point which was the most we have had so far, always thought we would have a better turn out for the August meet. I took some photos but not so many good ones having had to take them on my phone after forgetting my camera yet again. Heres some of the better ones from before it got dark. I know it looks like there is a giant ice cream cornet on Jimmys car but I can assure it was already there when we got there Hopefully I can catch up with you all if I get to Coltishall later in the month. Post your pics if you got ant good ones and videos
  21. Noooo we need to see it I think you where towards the back so it should make a good little video of our little convoy.
  22. Might have to park up a bit more central on Arcade, depends where the sign boards are out the front. See you all later.
  23. I am working Sunday so I think 7.30pm will be earliest I can get there. See you all then
  24. We should be OK for usual spot outside Wellington Pier/ Winter Gardens but if it is really busy we may have to move further up the sea front to the Pleasure Beach end.
