  1. I've no plans on trying to organize anything this year now. I will be organizing something in the spring again and hopefully we can get a few more meets completed next year
  2. We must all get together sometime before the winter sets in, we have all been too lazy!. I can do an evening meet any weekend this month and should be ok for a daytime weekend meet next month, it could be Yarmouth or Norwich, lets get something sorted soon. Winter is coming! Maybe we need a meet somewhere different where its easier for people to get to. We need to compare everyones new mods
  3. Sorry to see you go, we had a few good meets and a few freezing cold ones. It must have been hard to see her go, hope you don't regret it. Been nice meeting you and Sophie all the best for your future and your wedding. Will see you again in another year or two when you buy your next zed
  4. I have the same predicament, having done tonnes of research on the pro's and cons, I haven't got a cover. Some people get on fine, but like Ekona says - unless you wash it every time, you risk the grime scratching the paintwork. Same, so many pros and cons with using covers, i dont mind the washing part as i wash the car alot already and during the winter it wont go out very often. The thought of putting a cover over the car outside through the winter would make me feel very uneasy especially with a black car. As soon as the first grit of the year hits the road my car is on my drive till we see the last of it, there is enough salt in the air living on the coast without the council adding to it. Through the winter every 6-8 weeks I snow foam, wash, wax and seal and seems to work for me.
  5. We need to try and get a couple of meets in before the winter comes, anybody up for a meet next Sunday 11th Sept?
  6. Well I can make it if others can. Guess that makes two.
  7. Im up for a meet will most likely have to pass on a drive as I will be mostly working through all of August. We just need to find a date when everyone can attend.
  8. Stan, Jake and any others that may want to, we could still have a meet on Sunday as well. I can do any Sunday really, just say when you want a meet and we can all see what we can do. Just post in here and see who replies ☺
  9. Maybe this week is too soon anyway, not enough notice for people. So this month 17th July and next month 7th of August, trying to find Sundays were there are no major or local meets. Hopefully that way we can get a few to attend.
  10. Flyers, could be a good idea. I saw the same sunset zed in Lowestoft today so most likely a local one.
  11. Spoiler looks really good mate, don't think I can remember seeing one on a 350 before. The car is is coming along nicely with the mods, I always think the JDM 350 looks bare without a rear spoiler.

    Not a good look

Don't worry when I drove it back I was going real slow and next time I drive it will be to get new tyres. Just got to decide what to get now, replace the FK452 with FK453 or go with MPSS. The Falkens seem to have lasted really well and I will only be driving it in the summer and max of 3000 miles a year. But on the other hand MPSS's get such good reviews but twice the price of Falkens.

    Is it a Zonda?

My neighbour still calls it a Porsche, must have seen the Nissan badge hundreds of times.
  14. So who's coming tonight? It looks like it may be rain later but they seem to have trouble predicting it lately. If anyones coming down so will I, if not we can put it back a week or leave it till next month

    Not a good look

I moved over into middle of road to avoid some roadkill and it happened then, must have hit something in between the lanes. I was doing nearly 70 when it happened so there was a bit of run flat damage as well. Thought blood and guts in the wheel arches or front of car would not be a good idea at a car show. Wish I had gone over it now, still good excuse for new tyres all round now.
  16. Got the car looking immaculate after spending all day yesterday cleaning and polishing the zed ready for Sheringham car show today when this happened on the way. Needless to say I did not go after this happened on the way. They were getting a bit old so time for MPSS all round I think.
  17. Yea weather is not looking good for later. Just had a tyre blowout so will only go if a couple of others go, get some tyres ordered tomorrow.
  18. They look really good, shame they wont fit mine. They would look good with some new headlights when I eventually get them. Will have a look tomorrow if you still coming in the evening.
  19. I will be there, cannot guarantee that I can bring good weather with me.
  20. Nooooo don't do it, you know you will regret it in the end.
  21. Glad I am not the only one with an embarrassing petrol station incident on buying a new car. I had to go to the petrol station as soon as I bought the car, thought I was good pulling straight up to the correct octane rating pump. Pushed the petrol cap release button in too hard and the whole button pushed into the dash. While trying to refit it i stood on my glasses and had to drive 130 miles home with my glasses balancing on one ear. Welcome to the forum.
  22. Two in one day, should be good. I will be there for both What time are you getting into Yarmouth?
  23. Well I will be working all day and finish at 6.30pm. I will be on the seafront so I guess maybe 6.45 somewhere nearby, there may still even be some empty spaces but I doubt it. I probably wont want any food. I will keep an eye on whats happening in the afternoon, see if any barriers go up to stop parking, it may all move further up the seafront.
  24. 1 gumpy000 2 TimC 3 jimjam92 4 Are we goiing to meet somewhere before in Yarmouth and park up together. It will be near impossible otherwise as cars start parking outside pier at about 4pm.
