  1. Just as a little taster of a good meet That was August 2015 the sea front is always good for night time photo opportunities. Photos were linked from another user earlier in this thread.
  2. It would need to be Sunday night for me as working till 6.30pm and I suggested Yarmouth as a meet but can do Norwich or anywhere in the surrounding area. Just need a suitable location and need to know where.
  3. Sounds good, I finish work at 6.30pm so with time for a quick change I should be able to get there at about 7.00-7.15pm if we meet in Yarmouth at the usual place, outside the WInter Gardens on seafront. There are usually 1 or 2 zeds about on the seafront on a Sunday night so we may pick up some more. It can get a bit mad up the other end of the sea front with all the boy racers meeting up but its quieter up the other end where we normally meet. One summer we managed to get 8 zeds all lined up on the seafront, it would be good if we can get something like that again. You get a lot of interest in the cars from people walking past which is always good. If at a different location, I may be a bit later, just need the time to get there. It really depends on where everyone is coming from and finding a suitable location. Also we missed the Yarmouth Wheels festival this year but if I can get the time off for next year I will try and get something organised. Be good if we can get a spot on the seafront to show our cars on the Sunday.
  4. Yes great idea, I would certainly be up for one if we can get some interest. I know that a lot of regulars from the original meets have not got there zeds anymore, but I know there are a lot more local zeds in the area now. How about a Sunday night again, I can do this week or next. If its a success we could try for another one next month.
  5. OMG what happened? were you alright? I have not logged in for ages and its the first message I see. I got a little split to my front bumper and I was gutted, I know exactly how you must have felt. And congratulations on your wedding.
  6. I think we may not be welcome to that one as I have not had a reply. But I think the St Georges Day run will be OK, you get all sorts of cars on that one.
  7. They are WIngs and Wheels at Old Buckenham on 29th April http://oldbuck.com/en/events/wings-and-wheels-2018/ and Sheringham Classic Car run on 22nd April http://www.classicshowsuk.co.uk/classic-car-show-event-information/classic-car-show-by-date.asp?id=681 Never been to Old Buckenham before but done the St Georges Run before, it can be fun with 2 or 3 Zeds in convoy driving round the country with other classic cars trying to get to the end. You can see a few pictures here https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/96969-north-norfolk-classic-vehicle-club-st-georges-day-run-264/ I have emailed Old Buckenham to see if we are going to be OK to attend.
  8. Well its that time of year again, car is coming out of hibernation for the winter at end of month. There are a few local events coming up later next month, a Wings and Wheels show and a Car Run. I think as a collectible and modified car we should be OK to attend either of the events. It would be a Sunday, any interest, if not what about a meet.
  9. New faces are always welcome, we need new faces to keep the meets going . Over last couple of years we lost a couple of regulars and its those people that turn up every month or two that keep the meets alive. Weather will be really cold this month, maybe something in mid to late March and then after that it should start getting warmer. Will have to keep an eye open for any local car shows through the summer months, we had some good ones over the years in Norfolk and Suffolk. It would be good to get a small club presence at some of them.
  10. Lets hope we can all make one at least this year. Last year was the first time we did not get a single meet in, I never even got to a show last year.
  11. When the weather starts getting better we will have to get a meet organised
  12. I've been mega busy recently and not had much time to check in and its looking like work will keep me mega busy for next few months as well. I hope everyone is well and maybe we can get a meet in this year, we did not have much luck last year. I will have a look at some of the local car shows and see if we can get a few cars to attend to one or two of them. I am hoping to get my spoiler replaced or resprayed this year and maybe a rear bumper respray. The drivers mirror has picked up a scratch as well so another thing to be done. After that the car should be back in a condition that I will be happier to attend a show, its not really bad but they are small things that really annoy me. Hope everyone has a good year in 2018 as well.
  13. Maybe we can do a weeknight next time, maybe a Thursday?
  14. So far just me and you, maybe we might get some more interested.
  15. So how about 13th August, next Sunday night?. Hopefully weather should be good.
  16. So who's up for an August meet on the seafront, I can do any Sunday but bank holiday weekend might not be a good idea.
  17. I got my car back and all is good in the world again Deep clean is in progress and a few bits I need to finish off but she's purring like a kit......... alright roaring like a lion might be a better description. Its a bit short notice but anyone up for a meet on Sunday night in Yarmouth. Will get a proper one organised for next month later.
  18. Yea I think that might be for the best, maybe the 11th. It will give me a bit more time to get car sorted.
  19. Well I have just dropped 2 injectors off to be tested so my car will not be ready by Sunday. If anyone is still wants to meet up I will attend but I think that leaves only davidv10 and jk-boi now that jimmy cant turn up. Let me know, hopefully I will beck on the road soon.
  20. Yea that's Sunday 28th May at 7.15pm outside Winter Gardens/Wellington Pier, I think that maybe a bank holiday weekend. If so should be busy and hopefully the traffic wardens should have all gone home by then.
  21. No my car is still not back on road, it's currently awaiting a set of coil packs for a general misfire problem. It had some good second hand ones fitted but garage reckons they are still causing problem. Hopefully getting fitted in next couple of days, fingers crossed it sorts it out. Anyway even if my cars not running we can still have a meet. What about next Sunday?
  22. Soon, just waiting on a phone call to say I can pick mine up. Hopefully this or next week, so a meet soon after that
  23. Me too, looking forward to the spring and better weather, The spoiler cant be any worse than mine, looks like its got acne and measles at the same time after its been cleaned. Really need to get mine done after I have the other few issues sorted.
  24. We will be starting to try and get some meets in from about late March/early Aprl. The St Georges day run is on 23rd April this year and is ending at Holkham Hall. Might be good to see if we can get a few to attend.
  25. Its a great feeling when the car goes straight through with no advisories, mine is 13 years old now and passed both times with no problems in my ownership.
