  1. Disregard that rev-up engine, this is what you want instead: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104693-race-engineneed-i-say-more/
  2. Id get some old carpet and fix it to the wall where the door opens if I were you Adrian, no harm in being careful
  3. If I'm not too late to this topic, id like to put forward something like this: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/tvr/t350/2003-tvr-t350t--life-changing-chameleon-green/4457498?v=b
  4. Spotted this during my eBay trawls. TS Strosek Style Rear Spoiler £146.99 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-BOOT-SPOILER-/151932124985 Looks like a replica of a replica but its half the price
  5. Are they the smoked versions or the normal out of interest Hodaka? If you look at the eBay listing it shows the fog-light as being what you have hooked up to the "lights on": http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-bumper-LED-Back-Reverse-light-fog-lamps-Smoked-Lens-Fits-Nissan-350z-z33-/331634352751 4th picture in shows what they have decided to be the fog-light.
  6. But that's not the reason is it, have a read of what CK wrote above?
  7. My mate has had nothing but hassle with his new build, you can tell they are built to cost. Everytime something from his snag list was sorted, something else would be damaged in the process etc. So it wouldnt surprised me at all about the garage being "just" big enough to comply with the laws definition to scrape by as a garage and not an out-building or w/e
  8. My wife picked me up a Mini 0805 for Christmas, I fitted it yesterday. http://dashboardcame....com/mini-0805/ £56 from eBay aparently: http://www.ebay.co.u...cwAAOSwWnFV-hhP It seems value for money wise, to be amazing given its specifications. I've mounted it behind the rear view mirror at the top of the window and ran the cigarette charge cable provided along the roof, down the drivers side A pillar and along the floor behind my seat to the socket behind me near the sub.
  9. Its topics like this that make me feel better about just spending £80 on a dashcam. Has, seeing how the garage doing the work that you have the footage of, is not the same garage you purchased your car from, now can we see it too? Unless theres anything obvious that links the 2 garages I dont see how we would ever establish who/where it was taken?
  10. Shhh we aren't public, its a close-knitt community here and I just want to see some cringe-worthy footage!
  11. Nah just some locals assessing which parts they can free up prior to it being recovered
  12. You are lucky with the company being well known. I had a right mare in a similiar situation because the driver of the lorry involved didn't own the cab that he was driving so couldnt provide the insurance, and the company named in the livery didnt own the cab either so had to pass me to a third party who did etc, they then wouldnt provide details before confirming with the driver etc. All in it added a good 3 weeks to the process just chasing for details!
  13. I cant believe no-one else has asked this yet so allow me to be the first. Can you stick the dashcam footage on youtube so we can see the bit about them reading through the email and the likes? Not fussed about the whole 30days worth of footage of course
  14. My Brembo pads just turned up today from them, very good service for the price and considering they showed Out of Stock when i placed the order
  15. What spoiler is that out of interest? I've seen a similar design on eBay but nothing exactly the same before?
  16. Seems a little overkill drilling so many holes like that, not very reversable if he changes his mind.
  17. How was the fitting Lurch and how does it sit? That seems to be one of the main compliants.
  18. Cheers for the heads up, be rude not to at this price Details Surcharge(s):£0.00 Subtotal of items:£29.48 Postage & Packing: FREE Coupon Benefit: -£2.95 (Hurry Ends Soon) Total Cost: £26.53 (inc Vat)
  19. Pair of DEPO black facelift headlights: (£300'ish from Murika) (image is too big) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-Depo-Bi-Xenon-Projector-Headlight-03-08-JDM-Sparco-Bride-Recaro-/151910694734 Cheap Toyosport cat-back (£225) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyosports-Stainless-Steel-Cat-Back-Exhaust-System-for-Nissan-350Z-/121833705599
  20. Spend £20 on a "bargain" and then spend another £100+ fixing the bodges and getting it done properly....
  21. Cheers for clearing that up, glad its not just me thinking that then. Yeah I know full well about the DSA and VOSA merger, I used to deal with the DSA daily at work, and now I get both... fun times!
  22. Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps may be fitted..... .... Where such systems are fitted, they must work Important bits highlighted above. I'm not trying to be awkward "88 Zed" but having admitted you are an MOT tester how can you say they can fail given the bits quoted above? If they aint there, you cant fail on them?
  23. Forgive me for pointing out the obvious but if you trying to keep insurance costs down (by looking at UK cars) why are you then looking at modified examples? Have you checked what insurance would be like with: - decats - japspeed catback - LMGT4 alloy wheels - rear diffuser Despite the seller trying to pass these off as Nismo they are not, they are modifications that have been added to the car.

    HELP

If it was below the sills then i don't see how water would have got into the intake to be ingested? Unless you are using some aftermarket pop-charger style intake i think you may have been lucky
  25. Make sure to pay the extra and purchase a low mileage car to limit risk then. Its not an on/off scenario it build up over time afterall
