  1. Shame as it looks nice, good luck!
  2. Cheers for the interest/help guys, I've taken Kieran_ctr up on his offer.
  3. Yeah that's what I've been quoted by the company I've used in the past, Jack @ RoyalSteeringwheels.com. "350Z – perforated sides, nappa top/bottom + silver centre band at 12 o'clock, silver stitching + 2mm thicker" I haven't commited to anything yet but what would you quote for the above out of interest?
  4. I dont understand the transformer badge, it seems to plague so many cars but why??
  5. Does anyone have a steering wheel lieing around unwanted? I'm interesting in sourcing one that can be sent away for a retrim without being stuck during the 2 week turnaround time. I've pm'd Alex but thought id ask here too, eBay prices are almost as much as the retrim costs
  6. I haven't seen a true dual system that doesn't feature flexi joints on the Ypipe before. Whats the reason behind that? (edit) Just seen the Buddyclub doesn't either, ignore me
  7. Great car, I had one before the 350z if you have a read of: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23174-memory-lane-post-up-your-old-car-pics-here/page__st__360#entry1508735 Unfortunately 182's can be had for peanuts these days, and as such will have probably been owned at some stage by someone on a shoe string budget, so i wouldnt recommend Ekona's advice above. The great thing about the Trophy is their numbered plaque means you can easily checkout their previous owner(s)/history to get an idea how its been treated in the past: http://www.cliotrophy.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php/148-Trophy-Owners-Register That's a great feature alone that shouldn't be overlooked when paying the premium for a Trophy. Make sure its had a cambelt change (from a reputable garage, very easy to get wrong and throw out the timing!) with receipts to prove, and at this age I would expect at least a refurb of the Sachs to have been done as well by now unless its some garage queen with exceptionally low mileage.
  8. I love World of Tanks. It does get a bit obsessive though Check out War Thunder's ground forces. I played World of Tanks religiously for about 2yrs but the balance just gets worse and worse every patch, and seems to become more pay 2 win all the time. Having a game where "Heavy" tanks are obsolete by everyone loading gold ammo, autoloaders are king and arty can 1 shot you across the map got too much for me. I made the switch over and enjoy it.
  9. The problem I am having isn't so much the undertray itself, but the fixings for it (where it attaches to the other plastic trim, arch liner and the likes) that are damaged on my Zed. Do aftermarket undertrays such as this offer anything different for fixing, or would i be facing the same situation I have now with my OEM tray only with a heavier Zspeed tray for example?
  10. Another trip to CougarStore for me out today, even if it was a 06:00 wake up on a Saturday. Great service as always, and sorry to whoevers Matt Green 350z that I saw near the shops who couldn't get seen because I was already booked in
  11. Dashcam. Its a sad reflection of todays society but for the small outlay <£100 its invaluable In situations like this. I know is hindsight but I hope you give it some serious consideration going forwards.
  12. But but... I'm a PH member, I even have the PH smiley sticker on the back of the 350z
  13. Ideally you want to make a trip to somewhere and try the seats out. I know its not local for you, but I have this nearby for example: http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/ Maybe you have something similiar? (edit) It's worth remembering you will also have some electrical work to do to prevent having airbag dash lights, fitting resistors and the likes.
  14. Nice one, try and get a vid of the in cabin noise please?
  15. Yup: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98862-window-motor-from-america/ I had mine fitted by CougarStore, no issues so far with it.
  16. Seasucker seems the way to go, pricey mind!
  17. Just to update this, no issues to report its working. The price in my link is even cheaper now, no brainer.
  18. I tried to search for your topic inspiral to link it here when I saw this one, but couldn't find it.
  19. The others would have had to cheat to compete with VW rightly or wrongly, I just don't think it would have been on the same scale as Renault don't sell in America for example.
  20. I still see the wheelie bin/BBQ combo when looking at the top regardless of what they wanted it to be
  21. Just to add some contrast to the above praise, my experience with them was less than expected. I live local to them so dropped my calipers off in person (previous car last year, Megane 4 pot Brembo's) for a colour change. What should have been a quick turn around turned into a 6 or 7 week long affair with emailed excuses starting with: "we have a part shortage but rest assured we have someone traveling to America to source an alternative supplier" followed by "our spray painter has broken his arm so we have a backlog of work" While both potentially genuine at the end of the day they aren't my issues as a customer and if Id have known about the lead-time initially I would have gone else where. The work itself when I received it however was good.
  22. K, or M bands. £285 or the max £505 i think it is now?
  23. Yeah now there is sure, but the website wasn't live back in July when the OP purchased his car
  24. Theres no mention of them being LHD or RHD in that advert, before spending that kind of money id want reassurance of which fitment they are first.
  25. I don't mean to sound negative but theres no chance that will be staying in the country, its far too recognisable. No doubt in a container somewhere by now
