  1. Not a clue sorry, never had a reason to run it unplugged or remove it from the car. I didn't even realize it had a battery until you asked.
  2. Yeah they've started advertising the first episode now, next Sunday @ 8pm as GrahameJ said.
  3. You know its coming back right? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-35775158
  4. No offence to coldel as I must have missed those, but based on what? All the articles I read/google (and ive checked multiple) state the opposite. Even the Treasury says we pay in more than we get back: https://www.gov.uk/g...eb_09122015.pdf Which is it?
  5. You mean why save money and leave? We pay more into the EU (currently) than we get out, any additional cost associated with untangling would be a short term issue. Its a moot point. http://www.telegraph...-EU-budget.html And that is of course if things stay the same, they wont. Its only a matter of time before we get squeezed again for more.
  6. While I agree with your overall post I cant help but disagree with this point. You can have all the figures and funding you want but at the end of the day we are a tiny landmass in the grand scheme of things. We cant fit everything in indefinitely. To turn everywhere into depressing urban areas just because we need to catch up with immigration numbers should not be the solution, controlling immigration (both EU and external) so we aren't running a net pop growth should be. Lets have a stable population instead of a constantly growing one for a a bit? http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/oct/29/uk-population-expected-to-rise-by-almost-10-million-in-25-years
  7. Make sure the PC is up to spec to handle it, the recent lot of Total War games are demanding.
  8. Amen. Had it on pre-order since Feb, i CANNOT wait. I've always wished for a Warhammer themed Total War game since the days of Medieval Total War and now its happening
  9. Wow not good considering the brand. I cant say Ive heard of this before however, hopefully an isolated issue!
  10. I did the same last June, bought one off eBay from America. Still working fine
  11. This with bells on it. Too cold? put another layer on or get a hot drink = sorted. Too hot? tough sh1t enjoy being sweaty. At least other countries are prepared for it with air con, central heating doesn't work in reverse
  12. Nice one! Yeah its great isnt it for the price I was amazed. How have you routed yours, down the A pillar to the AUX behind the drivers seat too? I've had mine since the end of December, it was an xmas present. What memory card are you using out of interest? I went with a 32Gb and based on my commute distance I seem to get about 7 days of footage before it has to start deleting to make room for new.
  13. I was not prepared for the price when i clicked that link
  14. Spotted this on Hotukdeals, figured it might be useful to some people here too being car related: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/15-off-tools-halfords-including-stanley-34-piece-screwdriver-set-for-7-65-free-cnc-2442805 It basically means you can get things like their 200pc set with Lifetime guarantee for £127: http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/tools/socket-sets/halfords-advanced-professional-200-piece-socket-and-ratchet-spanner-set Not too shabby
  15. ^ What he said. Google Insurance Fronting
  16. At least the government live here and are judged here by the electorate, they want to be re-elected afterall. The same cant be said for some TTIP Eurocrat who lives in Brussels and doesnt care about Estonias economy for example.
  17. Sorry to stir the pot so to speak, but £270 is VERY expensive you should have shopped around. RoyalSteering would have saved you at least £100! I sourced my own steering wheel and it cost me £120 + £9.99 postage for the retrim.
  18. Ignition powered, not perm. Id recommend getting a proper hardwire kit if thats the route you wanted to go down: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DashCam-Car-Hard-Wire-Kit-for-Mini-0803-0805-0806-Dash-Cam-Hardwire-Micro-USB-/172134268923 Otherwise you run the risk of the dashcam draining your battery if you leave it parked up.
  19. Im with Ekona on this. Each colour individually looks great but when you see both together depending on the angle it looks like an old school cut'n'shut. Different I'll give you that
  20. Its possible to access them without removing the bumper fully, but you still have to loosen it to give you enough space so not much more effort to take it off entirely. Remove the rear light/brake cluster above and undo the bumper from the wheel arch and then you are able to pull slightly the bumper to give enough space to reach down under the gap left by removing the rear light. The indicator/foglight cluster will then pull up through the gap (its a tight fit!).
  21. Its new or recondition window motor time I'm affraid. That's the symptoms you get when they are knackered, refusing to auto-pinch. I dont even own a soldering iron so refurbing them wasnt an option for me, instead i opted for a pattern part motor from USA to save some money. Good luck, they arent cheap either way! My topic: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98862-window-motor-from-america/
  22. I'm using one of these, for £80 its great value for money: http://www.carcamera.../mini-0805.html (edit still available on eBay for cheaper now, £65!) http://www.ebay.co.u...m-/171397354236 Review here: http://dashboardcamerareviews.com/mini-0805/ The supplied cable is long enough to route down the A piller, along the door trim and into the AUX socket behind the drivers seat. Its fit and forget, comes on with the car ignition and switches off with it too. The hardest part about the whole thing was buying a Class6 microSD from Amazon to put in the thing If you would like any pics or footage from the 350z let me know and I'll go into the garage and get some for you.
  23. I've not seen one of these before so no idea on their value. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-official-JDM-momo-steering-wheel-with-airbag-/291748064791
  24. Nah 8J front, 8.5J rear is OEM. I guess the seller has just got muddled up (you would hope)

    Plasti Dip

I find it useful for painting/restoring faded black plastic trim black again, but beyond that I find its use limited. The bottom lip on the front bumper below the grill was the extent of painting the car a different colour
