  1. Well considering you ran it on low oil, potentially every part of the engine is suspect now, as it all could have overheated, distorted, have excess wear and so on. Personally I'd swap it out for a known good one as you've pretty much ruined this one by the sounds of things
  2. Might as well take it off and pop it out form inside then, probably with a bit of heat to help
  3. Plastic or metal? Might be tempted to sell my metal one
  4. SGS boot struts, approx 1 year old, still in perfect condition. Took off as scrapped the car. £50 new from SGS, plus delivery - how's £40 delivered. Comes with all brackets SOLD 2 Nissan badges, painted black. A few small chips on them but otherwise fine. £10 delivered Double DIN fascia for DE - £12 delivered (plastic only, not the metal parts. Can sell those for an additional £5 if needed) SOLD 2x rear tracking arms. Bushes are in good condition £30 delivered DE centre console section - in a silvery grey colour. In v good condition. £30 collected - +£10 delivered SOLD
  5. So you bought cheap nasty thing from ECP and expected it so look and sound the same as OEM? It'll probably rust out in 12-18 months anyway, that's the going rate for ECP's exhausts in my experience. Better off keeping an eye on the second hand stuff on here, albeit a bit more than £165.
  6. I had something very similar with Autoglass. They were absolutely terrible at giving customer service. The fitters were great admittedly, but head office really let them down. Took me about 9 months and 3 windscreens to get it sorted. They also busted an a pillar trim and that took months to get fitted (and they initially turned up with the wrong side). And yes they do come painted from Nissan. No idea why they'd be taking the strut brace off though, no need.
  7. Who's the F1 Icon then? And what a nightmare that 'sale' was, what a ****
  8. I've got 25/30mm and always have. First car had it on 30mm lowered Eibachs, current HR has it on Tein springs and both looked great. I hate 'stance' and it looks nothing like it, so that's good. For OEM suspension though, 25/30 may be a little much. Lowering just tucks the wheels in nicely for 25/30mm
  9. I can only presume you're talking about bluetooth? Mine never connected to the OEM unit, but I have an aftermarket headunit and it connects to that without any issues.
  10. As for bodyshops in the area - could try Pingewood Coachworks at Young's Industrial Estate, Aldermaston, or Spraytech, Basingstoke. I know of people who have been pleased with both of them. If it's £2k for a proper job, I'd be tempted to do that and go through the insurance. It's what you pay them for afterall.
  11. Now gone to Jon @ Emporer, so thread can be locked
  12. Well in theory you can as their insurance co can't write your car have no direct contract with them and they are liable to pay for/rectify damage caused by their client. Of course in reality it may not be possible/practical to repair
  13. Done it yes, but never used a specific hose! Just one that vaguely fits.
  14. http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/attachments/how-articles/38486d1170409886-odyssey-pc680-lightweight-battery-install-odysseybattery1.jpg There's a standard clamp under the red plastic
  15. Water Ideally distilled, but I've never had an issue with the stuff from the tap
  16. Pm'd re: bluetooth adapter
  17. What age is yours Stu? I have an 03-04 cylinder and a braided line for sale which are basically brand new, although I have no idea if it fits later DEs.
  18. Yep, need something bold and that stands out. Can't be doing with grey!
