  1. Would love to come down for this event. Got a lot on this year with weddings ( my daughters being one of them) but have liked the FB page and will keep up to date on it and confirm for definate by early August :D

  2. Do you mean this A82?

From Glasgow all the way to Inverness following the Lochs; absolute amazing roads an scenery. Done it loads of times on my motorbike over the years and will be doing it in the Zed this summer, can't wait.

If so, then no. I have done the Duke's pass when going up this way. Imho, it's probably the most interesting road in Scotland where you can push hard without breaking the speed limit too much.

  3. I'm just working on the last road trip plan for September which will either be the second trip to the Pyrenees or the Black Forest.

Kicking off in April with a week club tour to Monte Carlo

May, a trip to Scotland to visit friends but taking the family car as the roads up there are nothing exciting.

June, a two week trip to the Pyrenees.

Have you never done the A82 road, if not try, it's a fantastic road

  4. Got my Zed back from the paintshop today (got badly stone chipped the other week driving past a 20 tonner spewing its over loaded haul all over the car /s and road, anyway)....car is back to looking mint so gave her nice detailing inside and out. Whilst I was washing the back bumper and exhaust tips I got to thinking that because Ive got the CS rear on her (cheers Kris) and has a mesh grill bang in the middle of the muffler, what a nice mod it would be to get a third tip added to the middle, making the double tip into a tripple tip exhaust.

The cat back exhaust thats on it currently is an after market stainless steel job and I was thinking of doing a internal baffle delete (for better sound) anyway, but thought that getting a third tip added at the same time would look the dog danglies, especially if the centre tip was of a slightly larger apeture. My local custom exhaust shop would be able to do this no problem, they've done my V8 Jeep (single exit tip only) and their work is superb. Has anybody seen this / done this before on a Zed, or do members think it will look s#@te ??.

  5. I'll be there Kris, along with my son again, he's just bought himself a mk2 Focus RS so he'll be gagging to show it off lol. Gonna be a busy weekend, Drift school on the Friday, Zed getting sprayed on Saturday and the Tartan meet on the Sunday :) .

You will be lucky to get it back for Sunday! body shops always take longer than they say they will!

Passenger ride in an RS for you

Yeah that was my thinking...........so ragged him a bit and the Zed is getting done this weekend :D

  6. Looks mint Payco, mines has the same rear bumper and has the amuse 370 front end as modded by Hensh65. I'm really happy with the mods Kris done with bumpers and side skirts, nothing needing added there, but still mulling over the bonnet wrap to tie in with roof and rear spoiler. Tried loading some pics up but they are to big in megs

  7. Personally I would leave performance mods unless going FI, as for the car looks, just do what feels right, if you fancy a bonnet wrap go for it as like most things it can be removed if you don't like it. As for mrt comments, he obviously doesn't know the car =) lol

Was thinking nos but Kris and Neilp advised against it. I will get remap, plenum spacer, airbox 06 kit from flyboy, but will not look to go FI route too bloody expensive and i'll be happy at that as far as performance goes, unless some other members persuade me that nos will not give problems.

I had looked at nos-ing my V8 hemi Jeep and spoke to a highly rated tuning shop in Edinburgh, so might go back and speak to him about nosing the Zed.
